Chapter 14

Today I would avenge my girl, I was 8:30 AM when I turned to the side and found it cold and empty, Alice has already wakened up, I could feel a nice smell in the air, it was cake, oh, today is also the party, it was going to be a fun day. I did what I had to do in the bathroom and went to the kitchen to find my girl.

Hugging her from behind, I spoke in her ear

"Good morning, love" I said still a little sleepy

"Good morning, babe" Alice said laying her head on my shoulder and I kissed her neck

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked on my way to get something to eat on the fridge

"You looked so tired these past few days, so I thought it was better to let you sleep," she said while doing the frosting, giving me a bowl of purple frosting, so I put It in the fridge. She was right, I was tired, working like crazy with the launch of the company being 15 days from today and making sure that everything worked as planned today.

"I thought the color was lilac" I said giving a bite on my sandwich

"It is, I always mess up the tone, so I do a darker color and correct with more white frosting" she said to me

"But what about the leftovers? You won't use everything in one cake"

"I'm going to do some cupcakes" she said, and I got excited, I love cupcakes

"For the party?" I asked, and she shook her head

"I always have something baked in the house, because of you and your siblings, so it will stay here" she says to me, turning the mixer off and giving to me so I could put in the fridge as well

I watch her doing a lot of things in a little amount of time, and she does it with so much grace and calm, she is totally in her territory, and she looks so happy doing it, I'm so in love with her, after she stops doing what she had to do I go by her side and hug her

"My wonder woman" I say, and she laughs

"I don't know what to wear for the party" she tells me, and I stay quiet for some time

"Use one of your dresses or a skirt with a crop top, both in heels" I say with a side smile, and she gets it

"Horny bastard" she said, slapping me and I laughed, slapping her ass, she gave me the middle finger making me laugh even more. The timer goes off and I observe her putting the cakes to cool down as long with the others

"I'm putting the cake together, wanna help?" She asked me

"Will I win something?" I asked back

"My company" she said getting some things

"No, thanks" I said leaving the kitchen and I heard her laughing. I went to the bedroom to get my laptop in my bag and went to the office that used to be her dad's, now used by her and sometimes, me. I organize the table so I could fit my laptop, putting hers to the side and I open the discord app, seeing the updates about today's mission

December 16th – 12:00 AM

Alice's restaurant so I told the guys in the

kitchen to write in the dessert "I see you",

they asked for the check and ran before eating it

December 21st – 11:20 AM

left a note on their car saying "you won't see

us coming" BEST DAY IN YEARS

Today – 10:30

Gun, one more thing, we'll use their car, park

close to some entrance to the tunnels it will

be easier to move them.

I close my laptop laughing, I stay on my phone for some time, looking if there are any messages on the company's group chat, 0 messages, answer some emails and go to the bedroom to make the bed. I'm on my way to the kitchen when I hear Alice talking with Aunt Rika, being as silent as I can. I see that she had her back to the cupcakes, so I take one and hide behind the counter, eating it, it's so good.

I just finished eating when the call ends and Alice screams my name, so I get up, only showing my head behind the counter

"Yes, love?" I said, and she laughs, going around the counter, cleaning my face, I probably left some crumbs, and she kissed my cheek

"How does it taste?" she asks me

"Delicious" I answer

"Better than me?" she whispers, looking into my eyes

"Never, nothing is better than you"

"Good boy" she said kissing me, my arms going around her, pulling her closer, but she quickly leaned back

"I need to decorate the cake" she told me, and I kissed her one more time, letting her go after, sitting on the high stool that she had in her kitchen, she smiled at me and started taking what she needed out of the fridge, decorating, and putting butterflies and pearls? How would we eat that? It must be the edible ones.

She finished the bigger cake and put it in the middle of the counter; it was so pretty, then she started decorating the cupcakes with the leftover frosting, with more pearls, organizing them in the stand she always put the desserts on.

She was having some trouble to fit them all, so she started eating it the one it wouldn't fit, turning to find me with puppy eyes

"You already ate yours" she said when the doorbell rang and she left the cupcake half eaten on the counter and went to answer the door, seeing my chance I ate it and ran back to the office before she came back.

After some minutes I heard her closing her bedroom door and I went after her, seeing her picking her outfit

"You ate my cupcake" she said, I stood closer to her and kissed the top of her head

"Sorry" I said

"No" she said to me

"Can I get you something? So, you can forgive me" I ask, taking the piece of clothing from her hands, and putting on top of her skirt

"Fine, I want ice cream" she said, and I smiled

"Be right back" I said, leaving her room and going to the kitchen, getting her favorite, strawberry ice cream and since it had it at home, I put some dulce de leche on top as well, I came back, and she was inside the bathroom

"I'm sorry" I said giving her the bowl, I frowned when she put the bowl on the counter but then she pulls me to kiss her, so I smile, kissing her back

"I forgive you" she said "Now let's get ready for the party" she told me while sitting in the counter so she could eat , I started striping and she watched me while I took my shower , after she finished eating she got out of the bathroom and it was enough time for me to finish it and when she's back , I already have a towel around my waist.

I already had my boxers on when I remembered to ask her

"Are you going to wash your hair?"

"Yes" she said "But I'll be quick, promise" I decided that I would pick her underwear as well, so I opened her drawer and chose my favorite pair, kind of see through but only I would see it so, no problem

"Seriously?" she asked me when she got out of the bathroom, I already had my pants on, and I was putting on my shirt

"No one will see them, only me" I said, buttoning my shirt

She rolled her eyes, but put them anyway, and I smiled. She puts the rest of her clothes and is finishing getting ready and as I'm combing my hair back, putting some deodorant, perfume, and some rings, my phone starts ringing, but I don't remember where I put it, so I look for it around me

"Babe, your dad is calling you" Alice says to me, and I go in her direction to get it, leaving the room to answer it

"Hey dad"

"You're late, the boys already went to get the lobsters*get your ass here now" he says to me, hanging up before I can say anything, I look at the time on my phone and I see that it is almost 3:25 PM.

*Lobster is the codename for the guys they're beating up*

I go back to the bedroom to tell Alice that is time to go, but she zoomed out, so I wait behind her, when she looks up to the mirror and realizes that I'm behind her, she jumps

"Fuck" she mumbled "You scared me, babe"

"Sorry, are you ready?" I asked, I hate hiding things from her, as soon as this is over, I'll tell her

She got up to get her purse and took my hand, I held it tighter and pulled her closer to me, kissing the top of her head

"Let's go" she nodded and followed me "Go to my car, I'll lock everything" I said to her , while she whet to the door that linked the garage to the house I went to the front door , making sure it was locked, going to the garage, looking this door as well , I laughed we I saw that she was at the driver's seat, so I went to the passenger seat

"I would like to get there alive" I said laughing

"You're the one that drives like a crazy person" she said back and opened the garage door, heading to the street, closing right after, heading to the Fane-Crist's House , it was fast , since she live close to them , so she parked behind my dad's car , turning it off and leaving it , locking right after , she made my way into my direction and I wrapped my arm around her waist.

We got inside the house and went to the garden, where the party was, we're a bit late, it was almost 4 PM, so I introduced her to some of the people from my family that she didn't know. As soon as we saw Madden, my sister, and my mom, she seemed more relaxed.

"Hey guys" I said, letting her go so she could hug my mom

"Hi Winter" she said

"Hi darling, finally you're here" my mom said, and she smiled, I stopped paying attention to them and turned to Tavi

"Where is dad?" I ask

"Drinking with Uncle Will" she said, and I thanked her, kissing her forehead and turning to see my mom already going away with my girl, so I smiled and waved at her, and she waved back.

I found my dad on the couch with uncle Will

"Hey Uncle, Will" I said hugging him

"Hey little guy" he said hugging me back

My dad looked at us and I needed to lose my uncle

"Uncle Will, aunty Emory was looking for you, she said something about your tie around her neck downstairs at the catacombs" I said, and he went to find her

"Clever boy, now let's go" my dad said, and we went to the catacombs before uncle Will got there, we went down the hall and turned left before the showers and found a door with a hand scanner locking it, I put my hand there and in some seconds the light was green, and the door unlocked

"Fancy" my dad said

"Athos's idea" I said, and he entered with me, the motion sensor turned the lights on, and we started going downstairs, as we're at the bottom, seeing the carts, we take the masks that were inside of it, dad was using his classic mask and mine was like his, but white.

We walked a bit for and almost at the exit of Fane-Crist territory, there was my brother and the assholes I had to beat up, I didn't bother to remind their names, they were blindfolded close to the wall, but my brothers were also with their masks , we all had similar masks as my dad , only changing the color , Gunnar's was white as well but with a red line in the eyes , Fane's was silver and Dag's was gray.

I nodded and they held one of the boys while I pulled the other by his collar

"Do you know why you're here?" I whispered in his ear

He was shaking

"N-no, please let us go" the guy number 1 said

"But I know why you're here, you touched the wrong girl" I say pushing him in the wall, he hissed in pain, and I let him think a bit,

"W-what girl? I-it wasn't me I swear" he said "Please let us g-go, you got the wrong people" the bastard had the audacity to lie

I laughed

"So, you didn't attack a girl near the gazebo on devil's night?" even in the dim light I saw the color of his skin change, the dude was white, so I slap him face to make sure he hadn't passed out, his head running to the side and him groaning

"ANSWER ME" I said, loud in his ear, echoing through the tunnel, making him shiver

"It was a prank, we weren't going to rape her, it was just to scare her" guy number 2 said

"Well, terrible prank, and terrible outcome for you" I said, punching the face of the guy I was holding up. Punch after punch, the guy number 1's face was starting to swell and I think his nose was broken so let him go, dropping him in the ground, kicking his balls

"That's for you to learn not to do that with a girl, EVER" I said screaming the last part, my dad went to stand by the side of the guy, preventing him to flee, Dag and Fane were standing by the guy number two and pushed him in my direction, I grabbed him by his neck, tightening my grip a bit

"Where is the recording?" I asked close to his face, the guy was already crying

"It's on my phone" he said, and Gunnar was with the phones "The one with the blue cover" Gunnar showed to me that needed a pin

"Pin?" I asked

"40028922" he said

Gunnar was researching, when he found, to make sure it was the one, he pressed play and the first thing I hear is Alice screaming, I groan in anger

"Delete it" I said, and Gunnar deleted from everywhere, gallery, trash, cloud

"Done" Gunnar said and I looked back to the boy, punching him, again, again and again till I feel one hand on my shoulder, I stop looking behind me, seeing my dad

"That's enough, my boy" my dad said, and I nodded, I pushed guy number 2 to stay by guy number 1 side and I spoke

"Touch my girl or every other girl without their consent and I I'll hunt you down and this time you won't survive, and you won't mention this to anyone"

They nodded

We took the lobsters back to their car and put them back in their house, they lived alone, so we wouldn't have any trouble, we went back to the tunnel heading to the catacombs, as we are back, we hear someone moaning and I whisper to my dad

"Do you think it is uncle Will?"

"I have no idea, we're all horny bastards" he whispers back

"I need Alice, but I can't go upstairs like that" I said pointing to my hands and my shirt

"I'll see what I can do" my dad said going in the direction of the noise and I looked for the room I knew was closer to the showers, I got it leaving the door open when my dad comes in

"Emory definitely hates me more" my dad said laughing and I chuckled "But, your uncle went to get Alice, I'm going to find your mother" he said leaving

"Dad" I said, making him stop "Thank you for everything" I said, and he smiled leaving, I closed the door and sat on the bed to wait for them. It's been a couple of minutes when my phone rings and it's uncle Will

"Hey uncle Will, did you get Alice? I'm in the room near the showers" I said

"Yeah, we're on our way, she's in the bathroom, be there in 5" he says to me hanging up

It was only a couple minutes before I heard a knock on the door and I went to open, revealing my uncle and behind him my girlfriend and she pushed my uncle so she could reach me

"Fucking hell, what happened?" she asked me, her hands on my cheeks, her forehead glued to mine "Who hurt you?" she asked again, looking into my eyes, I kissed her forehead and looked behind her, she looked as well, seeing Uncle Will was still there

"Thanks Uncle Will" I have said, and he nodded, leaving us alone, I pulled her inside the room and closed the door

"Whose blood is this?" she asks me, but I was still silent "ANSWER ME" she yelled, tears already falling down her face, I looked at her, walking fast in her direction, kissing her, passionate and rough, she asked for passage, and I let her control the rhythm of the kiss, only separating to get some air

"I did this for you" I said "They had to pay the price of hurting what is mine" I continued "They will never dare to touch you again, not if they want to live" I completed hugging her, caressing her head, playing with her hair

I felt her nod, what if she leaves me? What if she realizes that I can be dangerous when it comes to her, what if she thinks that this is toxic and she can't deal with that? She was quiet, maybe thinking her way out of here, away from me. I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard her voice

"Ivar, look at me" I did what I was told, looking into her brown eyes, filled with worry and some tears "There is some way that this goes back to you?"

I frowned, what did she mean by that?

"Can they identify you as their aggressor?" she asked more clearly, and I shook my head "Then let's clean you up and enjoy the rest of the party" she said, and I nodded.

She took me to the bathroom that had inside of the room and asked me to sit on the counter, I was quiet, still unsure of how the things were going to be from now on between us , I only did what she was telling me to do, she took the wet tissue out of her purse, carefully cleaning my hands, sometimes I would cringe with the burning, but I didn't let out more than painful sighs

"I'm almost done, baby, almost done" she said finishing my right hand, the left one was in better conditions, but was still stained with blood, she finished and kissed both

"Can I take your shirt off?" she asks me, and I nod, she unbuttons and opens, looking for wounds, but I was only stained with their blood, so she cleaned it up, removing the rest of the shirt from my body.

"Get down, please" she asks me, and I do it, hugging her behind her back,I just wanted to be with her. I know I did everything to protect her, but I didn't think of what she would think about me after that.

"I'm just going to wash your shirt and we can cuddle for a few minutes, okay?" she told me, but I shake my head

"Tell me what you want, I'll give it to you, anything you want" she says, looking at me through the mirror

"Leave the shirt, come lay with me" I say, and she nods, but still putts the shirt under running water for some seconds, my impatient ass told me to pull her by her skirt and she turned the water off, coming with me to the room

We laid in the bed that was there and she laid her head on my chest, and I hugged her tight

"Thank you" she says to me, and I kiss the top of her head

"Anytime, love" I say, letting go of a breath I didn't know I was holding, we're fine.

I don't know how long we stayed like that, but we snapped out of that quiet moment with a knock on the door, me going on alert mode, standing in front of her like a shield

"Who is it?" I asked

"Gunnar Torrance" my brother answers

"Come in" I said and relaxed back by her side

"Aunt Rika is asking for you guys, she wants to cut the cake, and mom had an extra shirt for you so, here it is" Gunnar said leaving the shirt at the end of the bed

"Thank you, Gun, we'll be up soon" Alice says, and he smiled at her, leaving the room, closing the door,

"Put your shirt on, I'll figure out how to hide the other one," she said, kissing my cheek.

I put the new shirt on, observing her figuring out how to hide the other, taking the water excess and putting in some plastic bag she found, stuffing god knows how into her purse, taking her phone out of it and giving it to me, I put it on my pocket

I took her hand, and we went back to the backyard, Rika almost freaking out as soon as she saw us , we sang happy birthday and cut the cake , me and Alice shared a piece of it and as she was starting to get tired, she asked me to go home , so we said our goodbyes , leaving , I drove this time , she was too sleepy to do it , so I put the car in the garage, we went inside, locking the door that connected the house and the garage.

We went to her room, and we took a quick shower, brushed our teeth, she took her makeup off, put on one of my t-shirts, and I was only wearing boxers, and we went to sleep.
