I love working with them, I take my mug and drink a long sip of my coffee and go back to my reading, marking with green what is okay and with red what needs to be reviewed, I finish with 30 minutes to spare and go to Indie's room and knock on her door, I wait a second and come in, leaving the report at her desk

"I still have my job" I joke, and she throws an eraser at me "Ouch"

"You deserved it! Pay more attention to the deadlines, asshole" Indie says to me, and I nod, leaving her room and going to mine, finding Alice sitting at the couch with a picnic basket by her side

"There it is the girl of my dreams" I say and sit by her side pulling her to my lap and kissing her, she kisses me back and smiles when she pulls away from me

"Do you have time for lunch?" she asked, and I nodded. She gave me a wide smile and got up and started organizing a picnic in the middle of my room and she brought a lot of food, my favorites, and her favorites. We sat on the ground, and I made a plate for her and then I made one for me, we're eating in peace when my cousins and my brother storm in

"ALICE!" they say at the same time, piling up on top of her "We missed you"

"Hey guys, I missed you too" she said, she was so happy "Did you have lunch already?" All of them shook their heads and she invited them to eat with us. It was a fun picnic, everyone laughing, and Alice was so comfortable, I was so proud of her. After we finished eating, she organized the leftovers for us, so we could have snacks for later and each one of them gave a kiss in her forehead and went back to their rooms, I told her to go sit on the couch and organized the Tupperware's back on the basket and left it by my desk's side and went sit with her, pulling her to lay in my arms, she got comfortable and closed her eyes

I said kissing the top of her head and she nodded "Are you going to the restaurant today?" she shook her head and hugged me tighter "I can't stay so long here laying with you, but you can nap here, okay?" I waited for her to answer me but when I looked down her face was relaxed, and I could feel her calm breathing.

I chuckled and stayed there for some minutes running my hand up and down her back, and I think I fell asleep as well because I woke up with Athos poking me

"Something happened?" I whispered; cause Alice was sleeping on top off me

"It's two o'clock" she said, whispering as well and I nodded, thanking her before she left, it was time to get back to work, I held Alice's legs and wrapped around me and went to my chair, I arranged her on my lap so that she was comfortable, and I could work at the same time. Realizing that I did an excellent job, I opened my email to see the other reports that I had to evaluate.

P.O.V Octavia

I got to my brother's and cousins/boyfriend company and went directly to the elevator

"Good afternoon, Ms. Torrance" said their secretary, I don't know his name

"Good afternoon" I said smiling "Be a darling and tell Mr. Mori that I'm going up" I said pushing the 15th button and waved at him, it took some seconds to get there and as I left the elevator, I realized that the floor was oddly quiet, it was always kind of a mess around here, so that was weird.

I open Madden's door and he looks at me, smiling

"Hello, Captain Torrance"

"Hi, Mr. Mori" I said closing his door and heading to sit in his lap, he hugged me and inhaled my perfume, hiding his face in the alcove of my neck, I run my fingers through his hair and ask him

"Why Is it so quiet here? Are you alone?"

"Nope, Alice is sleeping on Ivarsen's room"

"Wow, she is definitely the favorite in law" I say pouting and he looks at me

"Is my baby jealous?" he mocks me

"Fuck off" I say pushing him and I cross my arms in front of myself and he gives me a side smile

"Don't be like that Tavi, you know you are my favorite"

"As I should be! I'm not only your cousin...ish, I'm also your girlfriend" I say with an arched eyebrow, he was looking at me with his beautiful dark eyes that I love so much, and we stay like that for a while, just staring at each other

I was going to say something, and he leaned closer to me, capturing my lips, a slow and passionate kiss, I melted in his arms, completely forgetting what I was going to say. "What time can you leave?" I asked him.

He looks at his watch and then back at me

"We close in one hour, then we can go" he said "How did you get here? Your dad brought you?"

"Actually, my mom did it" I said, and he frowned "My dad modified her motorcycle so she could ride on her own"

"Nice" he said and looked behind me, in the direction of his laptop "I need to see the reports that Ivar sent to me, do you want to stay in my lap?"

It was a good offer, but since Alice is here, sleeping or not, she might have brought food, so the fridge that they had on a small kitchen on this floor might have something good for once.

"Thanks baby, but I'm going to raid the fridge" I said giving him a quick kiss that made him smile and left his room

P.O.V Alice

I didn't know what time it was, but I knew that I wasn't on Ivarsen's lap anymore, I opened my eyes and realized that I was in laid in the back seat of a car and there is two people in front of me , I sit up and look to the rearview mirror, seeing Ivarsen's eyes focused on me , I let go the breath that I didn't realize I was holding and Gunnar turns to look at me

"Hey Alice, you're, okay?" I nod "I told Ivarsen we should've waken you before getting in the car, but." he took a deep breath and said, giving a poor imitation of Ivar's voice "She looks so peaceful and so beautiful, I'll wake her up when we get to her house" he finished laughing and Ivarsen was mumbling curses to his brother

"As much as I appreciated the gesture, I preferred a warning next time" I said, "Where is my purse and the basket?" I asked not seeing then in the back with me

"The basket is in the trunk and you purse is on my lap," said my boyfriend

"Thanks babe" I said smiling

"So, where are we going to eat?" Gunnar asked

"YOU are going to eat at home, and I'm going to eat Ali..." Ivar was saying

"IVARSEN ASHBY TORRANCE" I said raising my tone and he laughed

"I mean, me and Alice, we're going to eat at her house" I rolled my eyes and kicked the back of his seat

"Not anymore, leave me at my house, YOU, are going to eat and sleep at your house"

"But babe..." Ivar tried to argue with me

"There is no 'babe,' Gunnar, give me my purse, please" I said to Gunnar, and he looked at me and then looked at his brother

"Don't you dare" said Ivarsen to his brother

"Sorry, dude." He said taking it and giving it to me "But you heard her"

I crossed my arms and stayed silent till he stopped at my house, I opened my door and stopped behind the car, and he opened the trunk, I got the basket e closed the back door as hard as I could and walked in the direction of my door

"Bye Gunnar, Bye Ivarsen" I said getting in and locking the door

P.O.V Gunnar

After I got Alice's purse and gave it to her, the car was quiet till the rest of the traffic to my sister-in-law's house , as soon as we stopped in front of her house , she left the car without saying any words , Ivarsen stayed in his seat , taking deep breaths , he unlocked the trunk's door and she got the basket out , closing it with a level of strength that I didn't know that she had , my brother flinched but didn't say anything , their knuckles were white from the strength with which he was holding the steering wheel, he was pissed, she was pissed, but they didn't say a word to the other, when she got close to her door Alice said

"Bye Gunnar, Bye Ivarsen" getting into her house, I turned to look at my brother and his face was red

"You're fucked, you know that don't you?" I said to him

"I know" he said and drove home

There was no other thing that I liked more than to get of that car as soon as possible, thank God her house was close to ours, few minutes later he parked at our garage, and I got of the car, closing the door I saw that he didn't move

"Are you going to stay here?"

"For a while, yes" he said, and I nodded, after closing the door that separated the house from the garage, I heard him screaming in pure rage, not with Alice but with himself, my mom was in the living room, and she might have heard because she flinched

"Damon?" said my mom and I saw my dad's head appear behind the kitchen wall, "Yes?"

"Why did you scream?" she said

"It wasn't me darling" he said and waved at me, I waved back and sat by my mom's side, she instantly held me in her arms

"My beautiful boy, it was Ivarsen, wasn't it?"

"Yes, mommy"
