Chapter 1

P.O.V. Ivarsen

I was going to kill those fucking bastards, who the fuck they think they are? I was in the car with my brothers and Tavi. Gunnar was driving, I was by his side in the passenger seat and Fane, Dag and Tavi were in the back seat, our cousins were in the other car behind us, my dad is going to kill me if he even imagine that they are with me but if they stay in the car, I won't die.

Everything was normal, just another devil's night till we were passing through the courtyard where our parents got married and I saw some guys on top of someone.

"Stop the car, Gun" I said already opening the door and reaching them

"HEY FUCKERS, STOP THAT" as soon as they saw me, they ran away in the direction of a navy blue Range Rover, I will catch them later, I get down and see Alice King shaking and crying, I know her, she is always looking at me and the horsemen 2.0 with a dreaming look in her eyes, like she wanted to be us or with us

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" I could not understand what she was saying so I picked her up in my arms and ran to the car, whispering in her ear that everything was going to be okay, that she was safe. As soon as I sat down, I turned to Gunnar.

"Let's go home, I need to take care of her" I heard my younger siblings complaining and I just looked at them and they knew they should shut up, I looked back at her and she was almost sleeping in my arms, and I said to her loud enough so everyone in the car could hear me.

"I'm going to protect you till the end of times" I feel her breathing calming and she is not as tense as she was before , I turned to look at Tavi "Call Indie, tell her what happened ,also, tell her we're going home , they can do whatever they want for the rest of the night" she does what I said and in 10 minutes we're already in the garage , we get off the car and get into the house and I start calling orders .

"Gun, get the first aid kit and make some tea"

"Tavi, tell mom to go to my room" she looks at me like I'm crazy "why me ??"

"Why me?" I mock her "You are dad's favorite! And put on some pajamas, so he doesn't notice that you were out and Dag, pretended that you just woke up and bring me the aid kit as soon as Gun finds it" I go to my room and put Alice in my bed , I start scanning her arms and legs for bruises when I start hearing my dad already going nuts.

"WHAT? DID SOMEONE DIE? I'M BUSY FUC..."

"DAMON SHUT UP"

Feel moments later my mom enters my room "Oh honey what happened? Are you hurt?" I take my mom's hand and guide her to my bed near Alice "I'm okay mom, but I need your help, I-is Alice, Alice King, she was attacked I-I don't, I don't know what to do" why am I stuttering? And where is Dag with the aid kit? My mom looks at me and her hand reaches my face and caresses it.

"Breathe darling" I take a deep breath and she smiles at me "Is there any bruises that you can see?" I shake my head, forgetting for a moment that she can't see " No." I said looking again just to be sure and Dag finally got into the room " Wow , who is that ?And Gunnar told me to bring you this" give this boy an Oscar , I take the kit and leave it open on the nightstand by my side .

"Dag, darling" my mom said, "Go calm down your father, I'll be there soon"

"Yes, mom" he leaves the room and I freeze with what my mom says next

"Was she raped?" I look at Alice, sleeping peacefully on my bed " I-I don't think so" if they did something I will kill them both "When I saw her on the ground ,one of them was on top of her and the other was recording, but she was dressed , I don't know if she was touched improperly, we'll only know when she wakes up ,if she wants to talk about it" she nods and gives me a small smile

"Now, let her sleep and let's go downstairs..."

"No, I'm not leaving her side" My mom looked surprised with my tone, noticing I was defensive

"Well than , I'm going downstairs for some tea" she gave me a look that I didn't remember the last time I've seen it "That you knew I would like to have , so you made one of your brothers make it for me, thinking that I wouldn't notice at all ,that all of you ,were out" Even though I knew she couldn't see, I was looking down to the floor , my mom not only knew our lies but she also always knew our ways to disguise the truth , it was incredible , and we all were always down on our knees for her.

"Sorry mom" she smiles and hug me "My little devil, why so similar to your father" I laugh and she slaps the back of my head " Ouch, mom , wtf" I separate from her ,laughing more " Go control your husband and I'll take care of her, I'll call you if need you " I give her a kiss at the top of her head and she leaves the room, I light up the lamp in the other side of the room , so the light doesn't bother the gorgeous lady in my bed , and lay by her side , watching her , sleeping moments after.

Some hours later, I had already wakened up, looking down I saw that she was laying her head in my chest, with one of her arms around my waist, I smiled cause I also had my arms around her, I stare at the sealing for a few minutes when I start to feel her moving in my arms so I looked at her, focusing on her beautiful face, first she looked around, trying to realize where she was and then she looked back at me

"Ivar? What happened? Wh-where am I?" she didn't look concerned about having my arms around her, like she was feeling safe. "You needed my help last night, so I brought you here, to my house" her eyes widened "You-your house? Like Torrance's House? Like the house of one of the original horsemen?" I started laughing and I hold her tighter "Yes , Ali , my house" I caressed her face and she smiled , she looked under the blankets to verify if she was still wearing clothes , she signed in relief and looked at me again "Thank you for saving me , I-I didn't know what could have happened if you didn't show up" my hand went back to her cheeks "Do you want to talk about what happened?" I said and she shakes her head, i nod and stareate her beautiful brown eyes " I don't know if you heard me , but I meant it when I said it that I'm going to protect you till the end of times"

P.O.V. Alice

I looked at him, taking in the weight of his words , I just wished he kissed me , I've always had a crush on him , that's why I observed them so many times , I wished to be with them in all of their adventures , at their parties, but never had the courage to go talk to them, and it was already too late when I decided to stand up cause he left school and two years later I did , went to France to study at the Le Cordon Bleu .

After 2 years that I was there, I got the news that my parents were dead and I was fucking rich, one year ago I got back to Thunder Bay , the city wasn't fun anymore, I didn't even know if he was here, so I stayed by myself, like I've always been , shy and insecure, all alone in a huge house near the bell tower working every night in one of the most famous restaurants of Meridian and everything was okay , I was planning to leave , till last night ,and that should be a reason to make me want to leave even more , but what he promised me? I knew it was true, he is his father's son, so that was my chance to finally be happy.

I focused back on him, and he was looking at me like I was the most beautiful human being in the entire world, our faces were getting closer and closer when the door was kicked open, I screamed, and I heard him curse and bury his face in the alcove of my neck.

"WAKE UP LITTLE BASTARD, DADDY IS CALLING YOU!!" Octavia went through the door and jumped on the bed

"Wake up"

Said Octavia every time she jumped on the bed, I laughed and hugged Ivar tighter

"Go away Tavi" said Ivar with his voice muffled "I told you, dad is calling you, do you really prefer for him to come call you instead of me?" he was silent for some seconds and them he got up and pulled me with him "Go take a shower, the bathroom is right there" he said pointing to a door near the wardrobe " You can grab whatever you need from my shirts and Tavi can lend you some shorts, I'll be right back" he gave me a quick kiss on the lips (WHICH I WAS NOT EXPECTING) and left the room.

When I got back to reality, Octavia Torrance was looking at me, so I smiled at her "So, can you lend me some gym shorts?" "Sure, I'll leave then in Ivar's bed, go take your shower" She leaves the room and I go to the bathroom, take a shower washing my hair with his shampoo and conditioner , few minutes later I'm of the shower and I dry with I think it was his towel , I leave the bathroom to find the shorts Octavia said she would lend me and I grabe a black t-shirt in his wardrobe , I take the excess of water off my hair and brush it, leaving the towel in the bathroom and getting of the room , going downstairs.

"She means to you what your mother means to me?" I heard his father, The Damon Torrance, asking him, I knew the histories.Winter Ashby Torrance is like a goddess in Damon's life, she means the world to him,is he asking Ivar about me? The room was silent for some time, I was already going back to his room when I heard him say

"Alice King will become Alice King Torrance as soon as she is ready to say "I do" at that fucking gazebo, and she is mine since I laid my eyes on her"

I was frozen in place, I could not move, I had tears rolling down my cheeks, tears I didn't know I was holding till I felt them, I felt somebodies' presence by my side and was his mother, Winter "Hey Mrs. Torrance, I-I'm Alice"

She looked at my direction and smiled "I know who you are ,darling and you can call me Winter" She wrapped her arm around mine and we walked inside the living room and they looked at us , Winter easily let go of me and moved toward her husband , who wrapped his arms around her waist , kissed her forehead and whispered something in her ear that made her laugh , I turned over to look at Ivarsen and he was already coming towards me " Hey..." I give him my hand and he pulled me to his arms "How much did you hear?" he asks close to my ear giving me goosebumps "Some parts..." I said laying my head in his shoulder "Be more specific babe" he was running his hand up and down my lower back, almost caressing my ass

"Am I going to be a Torrance?"

"Only if you'll have me"

"Then I do."
