Chapter 25

Hailey's POV

The amazing weekend get away came to an end and Harry and I  had to go back and face reality. I didnt know if anything was taken care of, if Liam was fixed or if he was worse of even how Annie was doing because we stayed disconnected from all of it.

Going on this getaway was perfect but knowing that I have to go back gives me major anxiety because i dont know what's in store for us. I dont know if it will get better or worse because I dont know, no body knows, what happens when you tap into dark magic like we did.

We pulled up to the house and Harry looked over at me, taking my hand in his making me met his eyes.

"You ready?" He asked, with the slightest smile to his lips that made me instantly smile back at him. I nodded and we got out of the car together and unloaded the trunk before walking towards the house. Once we got in it was quiet, making me unsure if anyone was home.

"Hello?" I called out. I could hear them in the basement and soon we were greeted by a happy Louis who engulfed me in his arms and then did the same to Harry.

"We made great progress, he still is rejecting animal blood but he can drink out of blood bottles, they just have to be from humans." He said chipery.

"That still means that someones getting hurt Lou..." I said sinking back, the first five seconds of being home and I'm already upset.

"No dont worry, we can sneak blood out of hospitals that way it's okay." He said almost jumping up and down with how pleased he was.

'That's stealing." Harry said with a snicker making Louis roll his eyes.

"Shut up and be happy, he's doing good." He said as i set my bag down on the ground beside me.

"How's Annie?" I asked making him shift his attention to me.

"Good, Zayn brought her home that night and he made her forget it all." He said making my eyes pop open.

"Zayn did what!?" I yelled. As if on que, he sneaked up the stairs and smiled at me with that sarcastic look like he was so proud of what he did.

"Why would you do that?" I asked crossing my arms making him raise one eyebrow.

"Do you want her to remember Liam lunging at her and almost sucking her dry?" He asked and i didnt say anything, I knew he was right.

"That's what I thought." He said heading up the stairs.

"She's going to want to know one day and if you dont tell her she's going to find out some how and then this plan of yours will back fire." I yelled after him, hearing him chuckle making me groan and roll my eyes.

"Where's Liam?" I asked, converting my attention back to Louis.

"Downstairs with Niall, he is excited to see you." He said making me smile. I looked back at Harry with a smile so big it hurt and he smiled, nodding and motioning for me to go. I walked down the stairs into the basement quickly and jogged down the hall.

"Li." I called out turning the corner into the dungeon where he sat with Niall on the ground making me frown. It came to my senses that they still had him locked down here for safety reasons.

"Hail." He said smiling up at me, relief washing over me to see him so happy.

"Hey Hailey." Niall said standing up and hugging me.

After a quick catch up with Niall he left Liam and I alone and shut the cell door behind us.

"How have you been?" I asked sitting beside him and patting his knee making him look over at me and chuckle.

"I've been through hell and back over the last few days." He said making me frown.

"I'm sorry it had to come down to this." I said making him shake his head.

"It's my fault, you guys brought me back and I took advantage of it." He said making me frown yet again.

"You were weak and you couldnt keep animal blood down, it's just one of the side effects." I said making him nod. Silence lingered a bit before he spoke up again.

"I know how much you were hurting when I was gone." He said making me look over at him, slightly embarrassed.

"Did Harry tell you?" I asked making him shake his head.

"Can I tell you a secret?" He asked making me nod. "There really is another side Hail. I was still here with you all and I could see you but you couldnt see me. It was frusterating at first, at first I didnt even know I was dead until no body was replying to me and at first I felt alone. But then I realized I was still there to watch over you and watching you cry and cry over me broke my heart. But all of a sudden I was gone, I wasnt here anymore I was with realitives that had been passed on and they were telling me I was going to be fine and then I was standing infront of you all and the minute I saw your reaction I knew it was real." He explained. I couldnt believe what he was saying, everything that I had ever hoped would happen in after life was true.

"I cant believe it." I said completely shocked.

"I didnt tell the boys because they would think it's a load of bullshit." He said making me chuckle and nod, completely agreeing with him.

"I'm so happy you're actually back Liam, loosing you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do." I said making him look over at me and study my face.

"Can I tell you something else?" He asked making me nod.

"Of course." I said smiling.

"When I was gone, where ever I was, I got to learn a lot and realize a lot. Last week when I told you I loved you Hailey, I really meant it. I didnt mean it as in best friend, brother sister relationship. I'm in love with you Hailey." He said quietly, the entire time keeping his eyes strictly locked on mine.

The cell door bursted open and the lock flew across the room as it was broken into. An angry Harry stood there growling at him making me stand up and rush over to him quickly, trying to hold him back.

"Guys!" I screamed for help.

"You bastard." Harry spat as his muscles pushed against me making me put all my effort into pushing him back as Liam stood behind me.

"You're supposed to be my brother and you're hitting on and falling inlove with my girlfriend? You know how I feel about her, how much I love her and now you're shoving these thoughts into her mind." He yelled as I was joined with Louis and Niall who helped me keep him back. As usual Zayn stood and watched all the drama.

"Harry calm down." I said trying to get his anger level to shrink.

"Say something you coward." He screamed making me look over my shoulder to Liam who was starring at me, his mouth open and the look of regret plastered all over his mouth. I frowned at him and he cleared his throat.

"I'm sorry Hailey but I didnt want to keep it inside anymore." He said quietly making Harry loose it. He grew enough strength to shove all three of us off of him and lunge at Liam. As he pushed us I flew against the wall making me scream as my shoulder broke my fall, a crack sounding loud enough for Zayn to hear who stepped in and rushed to me as the other two attempted to hold Harry back who was now ontop of Liam. Harry hissed and growled, shoving Liam's head into the ground as Louis and Niall pulled him off. They pulled him back and pushed him out the door, not even awknoledging me. Zayn helped me up making me cry out again, knowing that my shoulder was popped out of place and it wouldnt heal until it was popped back in. The pain was enough to make me throw up, which happened as I curled over, letting it all out.

"Come on." Zayn said helping my back up.

"Li." I said turnign around and looking at him as he got up himself, drying blood off of his lip.

"Just take her upstairs Zayn." He said, not even meeting my gaze. Zayn guided me up the stairs being as careful as he could as we left Liam downstairs alone.

I woke up slowly, feeling light headed as I came to my senses. After Zayn took me upstairs he popped my shoulder back in for me which was probably just as painful as it popping out and then I crashed upstairs.

As I sat up slowly I noticed someone sitting on the edge of the bed facing away from me; Harry. I sighed and got up, pushing the covers off of me and rubbing my eyes. I opened them and he was standing infront of me, frowning looking as if he had actually been crying.

"I did this to you." He said running his hand over my shoulder that was feeling almost 100 percent better.

"It's okay now Harry, I dont feel the pain anymore." I said making him exhale and bring me into him as I closed my eyes, just stanging there as he held onto me.

"I'm so sorry, I was just so mad I couldnt see straight, I didnt mean to hurt you, I didnt want to." He said making me pull back.

"But you did, something always goes wrong when you get angry Harry. I thought you told me that I brought you back down when you were past the point of no return." I said making him study my face.

"You do." He said quietly.

"You didnt even hear me down there Harry, not once when you have lost it have I brought you back down." I said, beginning to believe he didnt mean it when he said it to me.

"Are you questioning if I meant it or not?" He asked making me stay silent. "I did mean it Hail, I do mean it. There's just something about hearing your best friend tell the girl you're in love with that he's also in love with her that doesnt sit right. You have to understand that." He said making me sigh and pull back away from him fully.

"I'm going to go lie down again." I said pushing past him.

"Where?" He asked making me look back at him.

"My room." I said making his face change completely, a mixutre of emotions plastered on it as I left him in the room alone.

ya so I'm pretty excited

so basically I updated because up until the concert I wont update and probably a few days after I wont be functioning well enoguh to update.

Lol jk I'll probably update that night.
