Chapter 22

Harry's POV

I studied her face as she starred back at me shocked, trying to process this and understand. A smile curved on her tiny lips and she hugged me tightly, excitement vibrating through her.

"Harry, you're bringing Liam back!?" She asked stroking her hand through my hair as I hugged her back, burying my face into her neck.

"There's one thing." I said making her pull back.

"A catch?" She asked making me nod.

"She needs to take the life of a human first before she can bring Liam back." I said quietly watching her face shift as her eyes widened slightly. She sat up slowly, putting her hands in her lap as the blanket fell slightly, exposing her perfect blanket. I sighed sitting up with her, leaning my chin on her shoulder watching as she starred ahead.

"I don't know about this Harry. I want Liam back, believe me I want him back and i'd give my own life up for him if I was human, but I'm not and there's nothing I can do." As she went on I could hear the shakiness in her voice. She wanted to fix it all her self like always, but there was no way I was letting her.

"I'll take care of it." I said kissing her shoulder before getting up and pulling my jeans on. I turned around and she starred at me shocked.

"How Harry?" She asked quietly. I leaned over and put my hands on either side of her, bringing my lips to hers and kissing her quickly.

"Just leave it to me." I said before pulling away and heading to the door.

"Who's life are you going to take?" She asked loudly making me look over my shoulder at her.

"Charlie's." I said making her freeze as I walked out of the door and closed it shut behind me. I began down the hall and the door opened making me look back as Hailey walked out with the blanket snaked around her body.

"Harry he's done a lot, but really? Your own brother?" She asked making me screw my face up at that word.

"Charlie is not my brother. Liam is. I'm getting my brother back." I said before heading back down the stairs.

"So is everyone clear on the plan?" I asked looking around at everyone standing around me. Hailey sat on the chair in the corner, starring at the ground with the same expression as every body else.

"Harry I don't know about this." Louis said quietly making me sigh and dip my head.

"Why? What's wrong?" I asked loudly.

"Charlie is your brother, no matter what." Niall said making me look up at him. I threw the mug I had in my hand to the ground making it shatter, everyone jumping in their spot.

"God dammit. Charlie stopped being my brother the night he left me alone to find out how to become a vampire on my own. I was all alone so now he's paying. He's going to pay for leaving me, for putting this curse on me and Hailey, for killing my mum and being responsible for Liam's death. I'm bringing back my brother, I'm putting this asshole down in the ground where he belongs. With or without your help." I yelled as they all starred back at me.

"So who's with me?" I asked loudly. Zayn stepped forward and uncrossed his arms, giving me a smile.

"I'm in." He said nodding.

"Me too." Louis said.

"Let's get Liam back."  Niall said. Hailey tossed the pillow off of her lap and stood up, tears in her eyes.

"I don't care if you don't want me helping. I'll gladly stab that bastard in the heart." She said walking beside me. She snaked her arm into mine, intertwining her fingers with mine and squeezing them.

"Let's get Li back." She said making me smile and kiss her forehead.

The plan was some what simple but dangerous. We were going to put Hailey out in the forest alone and vulnerable. Charlie's lurking we all know it. He wants Hailey dead so he will come for her, when he does this we will grab him and put him under with something the witch gave us. Then we will bring him to the witch and she will kill him, bringing Liam's soul and body back. There's only two flaws. 1) Liam's family and close friends can know who know he was a vampire and that all this is possible, but no one else. No one else can know there are such creatures like us and witches out there and 2) This magic is dark, it could ruin all of us.

But it's a risk we all are willing to take.

I held onto Hailey's hand for dear life until we got onto the front lawn. I pulled her into me, squeezing her as she ran her hands up and down my back making me close my eyes. I didn't want to let go, I knew we would get to him but I was worried because there was a chance he wouldn't.

"You're so brave you know that." I whispered.

"I love you." She whispered, kissing my neck.

"I love you too." I said smiling. I pulled back and starred into her hazel eyes.

"Just run fast and scream okay. We will be out there." I said making her nod. She kissed my cheek, lingered for a bit before a gust of wind brushed against me, her body gone.

We all kicked off, running in different directions to hide and keep our eye on Hailey. We all were behind or in trees, keeping it quiet as we waited for him.

I stood behind the tree watching Hailey as she walked around looking in all different directions.

"Harry?" She whispered really quietly, quiet enough for only another vampire to hear her.

"I'm here." I whispered making her slowly look over in my direction. She smiled and continued walking until she stopped in her tracks making me look with her, the other boys all tensing up as Charlie stood there starring at Hailey.

"You think I don't know this is a trap?" He yelled making us all panic. Louis snuck the other way, to get him from behind.

"I know that they're out here." He said making Hailey growl and lunge for him.

"Hailey don't!" I yelled kicking off and pushing her off of him as I pinned him to the ground. He starred up at me as Hailey growled and hissed at him from behind me.

"My own brother trying to kill me?" He asked making the anger pulse through my body.

"I'll snap your neck right now." I growled as Louis approached us with the potion.

"Do it." He yelled. "Wait you cant, you want precious Liam back." HE said making my eyes widen.

"Stop talking.' I yelled.

"Just know that magic is dark and it will come back to bite you in the ass." He spat.

"Louis do it." I ordered. Louis inserted the needle into his neck and I watched as Charlie's eyes rolled into the back of his head, the potion sinking in.

Hailey's POV

I pulled Harry off of Charlie as he starred at his motionless body. I pulled him with me as he looked back at Louis who picked Charlie up.

"Hey lets go get Liam." I said turning his head to face me. He nodded and I grabbed onto his hand, pulling him with me as we ran towards the house.

Once we got home there was a car in the drive way, Harry told me it was the witch's. We walked into the house and immediately I got a whiff of natural spices and herbs as we headed into the living room with the boys following. 3 women stood in the centre of the living room in a triangle with candles beside them making the triangle. In the centre was a white sheet draped over something, a body.

"Is that Liam?" I asked stumbling back as Harry held onto me. One of the women nodded making my eyes widened as I starred at it.

"Did you bring him?" One of the witches asked. Louis stepped forward and threw Charlie's body on the ground hitting it with a massive thud. The three witches nodded and stepped forward, holding hands. Harry pulled me backwards as the witches all began saying things in a quiet voice.

"What are they doing?" I whispered making him look down at me.

"Tapping into dark magic." He said making me look back at them. The three boys stood around us and I felt someone put their arm over my shoulder. I looked to my left and Zayn stood beside me smiling. I smiled back, shocked that he was even standing this close to me.

"Are you excited to see Li?" He whispered making me nod. I couldn't even think about this happening and I was nervous because I also knew if we did this, there would be consequences for us.

The witches grew louder and one of them grabbed onto Charlie's head making him start to shake as blood started pouring out of his nose making me gasp slightly. Harry pulled me in closer to a hug and I buried my head into his chest, watching him as he watched. The rattling stopped and then it was completely quiet, so quiet I didn't even want to take a breath. There was a thud and I turned around, gasping at the sight. Liam was standing infront of us all, starring at his arms moving his hands, shocked with the fact that he was alive.

"Liam." I whispered not believing this was real. He looked up at all of us shocked, starring at each and everyone of us.

"He's weak be careful." One of the witches warned as I ran towards him pulling him in my arms. He stood there still for a moment before he began wrapping his arms around me tightly.

This felt real. I could feel him holding me.

I began crying and soon enough I could feel his tears soaking my shirt as he hugged me tightly as I tried to wrap my head around this entire situation.

As much as I wanted to be happy, I couldn't help but let the un easy feeling of knowing this wasn't over sink in.
