You, me and rain droplets

*Flashback continues*

Keifer's POV

I felt a pang of helplessness. I'd always prided myself on being a good leader, but it seemed I'd failed them. The section was falling apart, and I didn't know how to put it back together, they're not trusting me anymore, well I deserve this. I entered the class, knowing it might be my last day here. I'm leaving for London tomorrow. I heard Calix talking to Eman, 'it's Jay's birthday next week and you've to make a cake for her'. Felix joins them, 'wow that's a good chance to apologize to her'. All of them agreed, 'we'll convince her'. I realized I won't be there on her special day

Jay's POV

It's my birthday, I don't use to have happy birthdays cause Aries and I have same, may be mom and aunty Gemma had a deal, well I thought this year would be happy, but it became worst, but at least the mid night surprise by my family and the affection they showed me first time helped me to enjoy.

Aries dropped me at school gate and went to park his car but suddenly someone picked me up closing my mouth and eyes, was I kidnapped again, I kicked those people but soon I realized they're taking me to Section E, those Ulupong surprised me there, decorated corridor, music, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUTYA written on wall, and Eman standing with a Choco-chip cake, my weakness.

My eyes were wet, I saw them after almost 2 weeks, Ci-N couldn't resist and hugged me, 'Happy birthday to you', David came with a card, 'Happy birthday', my eyes turned around, everyone was looking at me with glassy eyes , And then I looked for Keifer, yes he was not there and they did all in his absence, I yelled, 'your leader is not here, once he'll come back you'll again hurt me'.

I turned to leave but Ci-N stopped me, 'Jay sorry'. I shook his hand, 'why don't you just give up on me'. Calix came forward, 'when you never gave up on us, how can we'. Felix added, 'yes Jay, when you kept taking a stand for us then why won't we stop you from leaving us'.

Keifer's POV

I managed to come back for a day, just to see her, I stood there, hidden in the shadows, my eyes fixed on her, 'Happy birthday my Miss Universe', I whispered, 'I promise to make it up to you, to give you double the happiness for every tear I caused you to shed'.

I saw Yuri approaching, the insecurity in me triggered, I know he'll manipulate her, what if she'll choose him over me, again I'll be left alone. A tear dropped off my eyes, I couldn't reveal myself to her right now, but at least she's safe.

I was about to leave but found Aries fuming, I calmed him down, 'please don't let her know I was here, I request you I'm doing it for her safety, just keep aside our own problems be with her and support her'. I left without staying there for a moment.

Jay's POV

I want to let the things go, if he's there with them, Yuri came near me with flowers, 'Jay I'll not hurt you, it's Keifer's plan to hurt you', I turned him down, 'oh so weren't you supporting him all the time, what do you think this all can change my heart, no... thank you for wishes but it's clear I do not belong here', still the fear of getting betrayed not letting me forgive them, I left the building. 

*Flashback End*

Everyone was sitting by pulling a long face, Ci-N tried to cheer them up with his nonsensical talks and outdated jokes, Rory came up with an idea of playing dumb charades, they all gathered in the living room and divided in two groups.

Keifer gestures, he points towards Jay then puts an imaginative crown on her head and then points towards himself, all were confused, Jay said, 'Ikaw ang miss universe ng Buhay ko', Keifer hugs her, 'yes, my Miss Universe'.

They all give weird expressions, Edrix gasps, 'that's supposed to be your code language, how will we get it'. Josh sighed, 'exactly, don't make us feel jealous by doing this all'.

Everyone was happy except Yuri, he excused, 'so that's why Edrix called me, cliche, I'm leaving'. He's about to leave but Jay stopped him at gate, 'Yuri, I'm sorry, I tried, I tried a lot but it's Keifer, it's always him, once I decided to sacrifice my feelings, but I know this will never bring happiness, three hearts would've have broken'

Yuri smirked, 'so you chose to broke mine, no worries Jay, I won't say to break your relation with Keifer, enjoy it, but in the end you've to marry me otherwise it's end of FerCorp and Fernandez' Keifer comes and kept his arm around her waist, 'let's see, I'm a Smith- Watson, if you don't know my power then ask your mother who I'm, I never wanted to break our friendship but Yuri you've crossed your limits'. Yuri clenched his jaws and left.

Jay looked towards Keifer, he kissed her forehead and assured everything would get sorted, they came back to join all, Jay asked Keifer, 'you just came to see me on my birthday'. Keifer nods, 'yes, and how come I was not supposed to come, you know I've saved your gift as well'. Jay questions, 'so where is it?'. 'You'll get it when the time comes', he replied. 

Edrix told her, 'You know not only once, he came to the Philippines 4 times back from London in a month just to assure you're not in trouble and you remember the incident with Mykel', Jay sighs, 'yes', she realized, 'wait...you did that'.

*Flashback*

Jay' POV

I was cycling to relax my mind, suddenly I heard the familiar voice, yes it's Ci-N, I ran and found him fighting with Mykel and four more boys, restrained myself 'no, you've nothing to do with them, you shouldn't meddle', I move forward but, 'shit, I can't', I pulled Mykel from back as he was strangling Ci-N, he pushed me but I balanced myself.

Ci-N handled other boys, Mykel held my hand, 'still you're protecting them'. I get rid of his grip, 'none of your business, it's between us, why are you fighting?'. Mykel comes closer to me, 'cause Rakki rejected me because of this kid' I asked, 'you switched to Rakki from Mica very frequently' he smirked, 'like you, from Kiko, Yuri to Keifer'. I slapped him hard.

Mykel moved closer to me, 'do it with me as well, how stupid of Keifer, he left you' he grabbed me by waist, 'it's ok I'm here dear', Ci-N ran but other boys held him, he yelled, 'you have no idea what Keifer will do if you touch her', 'Keifer' I gasped, 'no I don't need him, I can protect myself' I kicked in between his legs, he scream hell out of pain, by then Felix, David, Calix, Yuri, Blaster, Drew arrived.

Ci-N thanked me, but without a smile I said, 'if it's a stranger, I would have helped him as well'. I left from there.

Keifer's POV

I'm in London, and he, that fucker Mykel touched my Jay, I took the flight to Manila, those 14 hours were hell, landed at Ninoy Aquino, Edrix and Rory were already there to pick me, we get straight to him, without wasting a moment, I grabbed Mykel and threw him on floor, he's already treated by Jay but he touched her, 'how dare you, bloody bastard?' He was resisting but I kept hitting him, 'if you looked at her or anyone from Section E, you know you'll never be able to see anything'.

*Flashback Ends*

Jay's eyes were widened, 'Keifer you're unbelievable', he held her hand, 'I can sacrifice my feelings but not you, no matter if you're with me or not, I'll protect you like you're mine'. Jay hugged him.

Felix coughed, 'I think we should not disturb them' [smart him], Jay backed off, 'ahh, I should leave as well'. Keifer's face got down, 'do you really have to?'. Section E has left by this time. 

Jay said, 'but I want to take a shower first, I'm smelling like alcohol', Keifer nods, 'even me, let's take it'. Her cheeks turned red, 'huh?'. Keifer smirked, 'don't overthink, I've many washrooms in the house, let me give you clothes'.

Jay received a message from Angelo, 'stay where you're, it's raining, roads must be flooded', Keifer peeked, 'authoritarian', is it Angelo, he laughs. Jay hits him, 'yes'. Keifer asks, 'no need to go now, right?'

Jay took a shower in his room and Keifer after shower was scrolling his phone on his bed, she came out wearing his oversized t-shirt, she looked like a teddy with a messy bun but swallowed eyes, 'you didn't sleep well last night', he asked. She yawns, 'hmm'.

Keifer opens up his arms, 'come here', she runs to him, he wrapped his hands around her, he kissed her forehead, 'you don't know how much I was yearning for this', he kissed her eyes, 'finally after so long you're here', he kissed her nose, 'I'm happiest today', he reaches her lips but saw that she's already knocked out, he turned off the lights and fell asleep. 

They woke up in the evening, Keifer was cooking, Jay was sitting on the counter seeing him, 'when you're drunk you said first love, it's for whom?' Keifer coughed, 'did I, probably because I was drunk'. He changed the topic, 'well like Angelo, have you saved my number from some different name?'.

Jay bites her lips, 'see, the food is ready' Keifer leans towards her, 'tell me'. She scratched her head & murmured, 'umm..King of Ulupong', Keifer holds her chin, 'say clearly', she told him. He was shocked, 'really? I saved it yours by Miss Universe & you, change it'. 'Does it matter?', she asked, he comes in between both of legs, breathing over her face, 'yes, it does'.

They were so silent that the voice of their breaths was audible, 'are you doing it'. Jay took out her phone & saved him as 'Mr Gwapo, happy now'. Keifer backed off, 'Good'. After the meals she gets to know she still can't go back due to rain, both of his brothers went to their room, Jay was standing in his room's window, 'wow, it's raining'.

Keifer comes and back hugs her, 'want to enjoy the rain', 'you had a fever last night, you'll get sick again' Jay replied. He opens up his balcony, 'doesn't matter' he dragged her, those rain droplets started falling over them, he spun her as she smiled, they forgot all the pain they had gone through, 'it's just me, you and these rain droplets', he pulled her into a kiss.

Their lips met in a soft, tender kiss, the raindrops falling around them like nature's own blessing. Keifer's hands slid up Jay's waist, her wrapping around his neck and they Jay deepened the kiss, The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the magic of the moment.

Jay pulled away as she lost breaths, Keifer saw her hairs plastered her face, he removed them to adore her more, the water dripping down her face making her more beautiful. He was just in his vest, his wet strong arms attracting her more. He pulled her that her lands his chest, and again they pressed their lips against each other, passionate this time.

Keifer carried her and moved inside, they were dripping, cold water mingling with the heat of body, the t-shirt she wore was clinging to her body raising the temptation, he pecked her neck, she moaned a little, he moved further but 'Achoo', he sneezed, 'sorry' the moment shattered, and they couldn't help but laughed out so hard.

They changed the clothes, she checked his temperature it's 101, she gave him medicine, wrapped a blanket around him, brought two hot cups of coffee, she turned on the heater, he opened up his blanket, she enters.

They snuggled up together under a warm blanket, cradling steaming cups of coffee in their hands. The heater crackled softly, casting a cozy glow over the room. Outside, the rain drummed a soothing melody against the glass window, they gazed out at the rain-soaked world, feeling grateful for this warm and peaceful haven, 'if it's a dream then I really don't want to wake up again, I love you Jay', he whispered, she kept her head on his chest, 'it's beautiful reality where I love you too'.
