I fell

Jay - Jay was about to sleep and she got a message from Yuri, ' Jay, I know whatever happened today was unexpected but I can explain, let's go on a date tomorrow'.

Jay ignored the message and next morning her aunt came to wake her up and saw her sleeping peacefully, 'my dear Jay, we're sorry for this, but we didn't have any other option but trust on your brother Angelo he'll soon find a way'. She wakes up Jay and asks her to have breakfast.

Yuri once again messages her, 'Jay are you ready, I'll be there in an hour'. Jay replies, 'sorry, but I'm not feeling well, can we please postpone the plan'. Yuri agrees.

Jay was scrolling her phone then one of the workers came to call her that someone is waiting for her outside. She mutters, ' said no to him still he's here, I don't want to remember that engagement drama again by looking at his face, but I've to'. She reaches her main gate by blabbering and gets shocked.

Keifer was standing there by swirling the key in his right hand and his left hand was at his back. Jay's face lights up when she sees him, she goes close to him, 'what are you doing here? And what's in your hand?'

Keifer asks her to send the worker inside, she does the same. Keif gives her favourite chocolate, 'Happy new year'. Jay smiles a bit and takes the chocolate, 'happy new year'. He notices the tense face of her.

Keifer opens the door of the car for her, 'let's go on a date, my wife'. Jay blushes, 'stop calling me that, we're just classmates' Keif glares at her, 'classmates? Even after what happened at the party last night'.

Jay sits in the car, 'I don't want to talk about it, that's making me sick'. Keif too sits in the car, 'alright, let me take you to a place to lighten up your mood'.

Keifer takes her to a lakeside, 'so is it beautiful'. Jay feels good after being close to nature. That cold breeze was so comforting for her, she closed her eyes to feel it. Keifer was adoring her with a smile.

Jay sits at a bench and opens up chocolate and starts eating, Keif looks towards her and opens up his mouth, 'a.aa..'

Jay ignores him, Keifer again approaches her, 'I want some'. Jay looks at him, 'isn't it for me'. Keif makes some annoying face, 'can't you share' Jay takes one piece from it and offers it to him.

Keifer sits beside her and gestures that he wants her to feed him. Jay was about to take her hand back but Keif holds it and pushed it into his mouth to taste that chocolate, 'yummy, like that bun I ate few months ago'.

Jay remembers how he ate like that before and blushes. Keifer notices it but also that her mood is still off. He starts singing her favourite song, 'Ikaw Ang Miss Universe Ng Buhay Ko'. Jay looks towards him, 'your voice is really good'

Keifer made eye contact with her, 'when I sing this song, I really mean it'. Jay looks aside but he wants to make her smile, 'so if you won't smile, I'll kiss you'.

Jay turns her face towards him, 'you..' Keifer, 'just smile'.

Jay looks into his eyes and smiles, 'is it fine?'. But Keif being keif, he holds her face with both of his hands and kisses her, she backs off.

Keifer with a mischievous smile, 'I didn't say that I won't kiss if you smiled'. Jay now smiles for real and Keifer hugs her, 'I'm telling you I won't let anyone hurt you, but if someone do I won't spare, no matter who the hell is she/he'

Keifer's POV- I'm sorry Jay, I know I myself planned to hurt you, but my own plan backfired on me, I think instead of making you fall for me but instead I fell myself so hard that I can't even imagine seeing you in tears. But now I realized I never hated you, but I was blind by my hatred for Aries. From the very beginning I kept myself in denial that I can't be in love with you because no one ever chose me, and you might do the same. But no, you've chosen me, so I won't let you go.

A tear drops from Jay's eyes, Jay's POV- it's the first time someone said words like this to me, someone is here to protect me, fight for me and cares about my feelings and happiness. I know I owe brother Angelo, but Keifer assured me about helping them, so I don't think choosing my own feelings is wrong at all. And in the future, I'll become someone better not like my mother and will return all of their favor.

Keifer asks her to have a walk, he holds her hand and starts walking, 'actually Jay I have something to tell, and I think it's important for you to know that in the beginning when you came, I pla..'. His phone rang and it was his youngest brother Keiran.

Keiran asked him to come back as some relatives of them had arrived. Keifer drops Jay- jay at her home and leaves. He was determined to tell Jay- Jay about his plan to trick her but now he's dropped it as he really likes her now.
