EPILOGUE: LAST DAY ENTRY

~*Lucy's POV*~

I was walking past to some other people who looked and gossiped about me, I leave my dad to go back from home fetching mom while leaving myself at the center of the Dragneel's mansion in crowded group of business owners. I look from the side as I found a long table banquet of food where waiters serve some drinks for the guests. I sat down from the vacant soft couch form the living which still crowded from the people. 

" Hey Lucy! Fancy meeting you here again this lovely evening. " I heard a familiar voice which I looked around saw Jellal Fernandez, the guy who I met yesterday.

" Jellal, you're here too? " I smiled knowing there is a person I could talked to while waiting.

" Well I'm not alone this time hehe.. " Jellal scratched his head as I tilted my head seeing Erza walking towards us, " Erza is with me even though I didn't have an invite from the infamous Dragneels.. "

"Jellal and Lucy, you two seems have known to each other.. I heard from you that you are forced coming with me.. " Erza crossed her arms as I giggled silently while Jella l elt out a nervous laugh, " I needed accompany and dad suggested to be my bodyguard tonight.. " 

" You two would be a cute couple~ " I murmured as both of them began to blush.

" L-Lucy!! We are only acquainted to each other, nothing more and nothing less. " Erza replied as Jellal nodded quickly agreeing her statement.

" Well I'm just suggesting the future for you two.. " I giggled.

We talked and chat more as I enjoyed their company feeling comfortable until some other guests have arrived which I saw Levy, Juvia and Gray in sight at the entrance. We gathered together knowing that Levy's father side is one of the famous newspaper company, Juvia's parents being one of the best beach owners from Fiore and Gray's family are the famous athletes of a sport called Ice Hockey. Meeting all of their families is really awesome and great which I learned that my dad is one of Mr. Fullbuster's teammate of the Ice Hockey, after talking to my friends and other people a bell rang creating a quiet aura and atmosphere of the mansion then suddenly a spotlight came form the stairs showing Mr and Mrs. Dragneel together going down as the music started everyone applauded while seeing Natsu in black and red suit accompanying his little sister Wendy.

" Welcome! I am delightful to see our fellow business companions here in Fiore.. " Mr. Igneel shouted as he grabbed near the table a glass of red wine, " Enjoy the beautiful evening and soon we have our announcement soon. "

The dark around the mansion lighted up as the spotlight faded, people chatted once again as my friends started to come at me which I knew that they have plan for me to approach Natsu in something they would make us together. 

" Guys seriously stop this nonsense cause Natsu and I are only best friends.. " I replied as they started pulling me walking around finding Natsu on sight. 

" Oh shush, Lu-chan it is pretty obvious that you liked him. You even confessed to us from the hospital remember? " Levy protested as I let out a nervous laugh.

" Juvia supports Lucy-san and Natsu-kun together! " Juvia wiggled her eyebrows which made me chuckle.

" Your friends are here to that push Lucy.. " Erza said with determination in her eyes starting to clear some ways making a scene.

" Oh dear.. " I murmured looking down and blushing hard as my friends kept on finding Natsu.

" Pinky in the dinner table!! " I heard Gray shouted which gave me a scare that the girls started dragging me.

They pushed me hard making me out of balance, I was trying not to scream which I closed my eyes. I was waiting for the fall but I didn't I am practically either floating or someone catch me. I opened my eyes seeing in front of me Natsu with his worried face carrying my bridal style, I was really blushing which made me struggle to get on to my feet.

" Woah Luce wait!- " Natsu exclaimed that made us fall from the floor causing a ruckus.

Everyone stopped and looked at us hearing the whispers and gossips which I felt embarrassed looking down from my shame, even getting involvement to Natsu is much worse because his family are the host of the event. I tried to stand up not looking to other people around and rushed outside to get out of the crowd, I panted and sat from the bench gazing up seeing the stars glitter from the sky finding some quiet and peaceful moment for myself. I was really ashamed and embarrassed of myself from the scene I caused and if it wasn't my friends I wouldn't be feeling like a laughing stock there.

" That was pretty embarrassing and funny at the same time.. " I heard Natsu who walked up to me sitting beside me.

" It was my friends who literally pushed me.. " I giggled as I looked back from the scene.

" Well I am glad to catch you in time.. " Natsu replied as he looked at me, " You look beautiful tonight as well.. " 

" Pfft.. Thank you.. You look great in your suit as well.. " I blushed as I looked down feeling Natsu's arm around my shoulders.

" I'm not really fit into this kind of stuff but parents forcing me into those boring meetings and other things that doesn't interest me at all.. " Natsu said as he looked up in the sky, " I rather lived up to some free adventure and going to other places.. "

" Well this would be a quite adventure when you become the reign of your family's business, with all the money and charity you could do for the children... " I replied as I smiled.

" Charity? Business? " Natsu looked at me, " Didn't know you would take interest in those stuff.. "

" My family's small yet local business brings joy and happiness, I mean seriously we hold the festivals each year in Fiore.. " I chuckled which made the two of us laugh.

" Well I guess I don't mind helping you out on your stuff, if that's alright with you? " Natsu asked as I nodded and unexpected kiss him on the cheek, oh Mavis why did I do that..

" If you are available tomorrow morning..? " I replied as he suddenly kissing me deeply yet gentle causing myself to widen my eyes.

He pulled away as we gazed to each other's eyes deep into his onyx eyes which made me blush even more. I looked away feeling more embarrassed as he giggled taking a peek seeing him scratched his head looking away as well. 

" I would love to.. " He grinned as started to stand up lending his hand, " Shall we go back insdie, Luce? "

I smiled blushing as I offered my hand and both of us go back inside the mansion which hearing the music and people bring their partners dancing in the middle while others are at the banquet chatting and eating together in the dinner table seeing some elite businesses. I dad and mom talking to other sponsors as well which I saw my friends suddenly jumps to me and keep apologizing from the scene that happen awhile ago but I quickly forgave them easily cause it is part of the life when you are wit your friends, they do dumb stuffs and overrated crazy things.

" Excuse me.. " I felt a tap from my shoulder which made me turn around seeing a guy in a mask holding a tray with the glass of wine, " Some finest refreshments for Ms. Lucy.. "

" Oh thank you.. " I smiled and accepted the drink as Natsu began to pull me closer to him.

The man only bowed not making eye contact and go to his way which I tap on Natsu giving him a glare which he only rolled his eyes giving an annoyed face, my friends kept on clinging and talking to the both of us which made the atmosphere for lively and peaceful then suddenly the lights go off once again as the spotlight points to the Dragneels.

" Evening to all once again! " Mr. Dragneel said as he raised up the glass, " Tonight I will be making an announcement.. "

" The Dragon Gold Company from the Dragneels has been one of the successful business around the world in history where everyone wants to make an alliance with us, yet all the offers from other countries either declined or hold to it. " Mrs. Dragneel explained as she smiled looking at her husband.

" Yet our son, Natsu Dragneel, will soon hold and reign our company to this generation which we made our choice to decide who will be the great hold be his side merging our company to the other.. " Mr. Dragneel said as everyone began to whisper and gossip which I gasp knowing what was the plan.

" Ladies and Gentleman, it is my great pleasure to announce that we are merging one of the local companies here tonight, the one who holds the festivities and treasures of our culture  of the Fiore, The Pearl Star Company from the Heartifilias! " Mrs. Dragneel exclaimed as everyone began to clapped pointing the spotlight to me and Natsu which flashing lights coming from the cameras.

My friends started to crowded at me protecting from the interviewers but a clapped be heard echoing in the mansion which clearing the pathways which Natsu pulled me going to his parents and mine. Everyone cheered which my family is behind me smiling with kisses and hugs from them.

" Anything you'd like to add, Mr. Heartifilia? " Mr Dragneel asked.

" It is a great honor and pleasure to be partnering the Dragneels, the only reason we hold on to charities, festivities and support for the Fiore history is our family's generation putted on as the years passed. With my loving beautiful wife and daughter, How I wished my other daughter is here to see this wonderful event and give my service and gratitude for Igneel and Gradeneey.. " My dad said as he hugged mom, " Cheers! For the acceptance of the Dragneels! "

Everyone shouted and rejoiced as they sip on their glass of wine looking at Natsu smiling and making cheers with my drink, together the both of us drink all the wine tasting the taste which gave that unusual look after drinking. Natsu looked at me as I started to feel dizzy and blurry around me. 

" Luce? Are you okay..? " Natsu asked worriedly as my parents and his looked at us.

" This taste is unsual.. but its great- " I looked at him and lost consciousness.

I hear the shout and gasp from the background as Natsu's voice calling me out is fading away feeling only warmth yet it's really cold, i feel a bit tired only thinking and wanting to rest for tonight, not knowing that it would be my last breath.
