Chapter 3

"I wasn't taking a no for an answer anyways..."

"So how do I take the medicine?" the boy asked still having the same protective position."You can drink it, but since your sister is asleep I have 'inject' the medicine" the red eyed man bluntly told the boy.

The man then held out a vile and told the boy to drink it up first while he 'injects' the medicine to his sister, after the boy drank the vile before he collapsed. The red eyed demon waiting for something to happen to the boy, the appearance of the boy change. Turning his black hair to pure white, his fair skin turning to pale white with several red dots appearing on his face, his eyes turning pale blue with red sclera. The red eyed man seeing what happened to the young boy the stuck out his finger and extending his nails turning sharp and blue, inserts his finger to the girl giving her the same amount as what was on the vile.'The boy survived, will this girl too?' the red eyed man said as he waits.

The girl's body started to shake uncontrollably, her hair turning white, her skin turning pale white with the same dots like her brother, her eyes changed to a pale blue with red sclera as well. But as the girl's appearance change, she whispered the name of the man 'Muzan'. The red eyed man known as Muzan, heard and immediately  got curious about the girl which had also survived.

"Y-yuri..." The boy groaned after awaking from what had just happened."Boy, you 2 are now demons. Feast on humans to become stronger and be weary of demon slayers and the sun the only ones who can kill you" the man bluntly told them."Sure, u-um mr..." the boy said still confused"I am Muzan Kibutsuji, your king, the king of all demons" the man told the boy before disappearing.

As the man disappeared the boy stood up noticing that it wasn't that troubling, and walks around happy that he could. He looked at Yuri who's appearance was similar with his. 'I'm really sorry for choosing for you, Yuri...' the boy thought, as suddenly an overwhelming hunger come over him, he dashed outside their house returning later and sitting by his sister who was still laying down.

The parents awoke to their children having a changed appearance, they where terrified. The boy the noticed their parents and stood up and hugged them, the parents still confused still hugs the demonized boy as well. The girl finally woke up, greets her parents and brother not faced by her and the boy's appearance. The siblings plays inside their house, as the mother and father do their usual routine.

"What happened to our children?" The distress mother said to herself.

As days go by the family still kept the same routine, the mother and father do what they were assigned, as the children stayed in their room. But every night the siblings would go out and look around, as the girl would normally look around the boy would secretly would feast. until one night their parents had found Rui feasting, and as the boy stared out the window, their parents tried to kill the boy. Seeing that his parents do this made him recall a story about a father who had drowned saving his son, realizing they were imposters and seriously injure the parents. As Rui sat waiting for his sister, the mother muttered with their dying breath.

"Sorry... for not giving you a strong healthy body and for Yuri.." the mother uttered in pain before she had finally died as well.

Making Rui remember his father words, that he and the mother would follow their children to the after life and what they were doing was to stop them from becoming monsters. He had realized that his parents genuinely loved them, and the family bond they had was real and he had severed it. After that Muzan, king of demons appeared and tried to cheer up the boy.

"It is their fault for not trying to accept you 2, you should take pride with your new found strength" The man said expression less.

The boy would have too look at it that way for he couldn't bear the weights of what he had done, as the man left Rui on his own, the boy sat down not facing the dead bodies of his parents and waited for the girl that was not in the room at the time. When the girl did arrive, the girl was smiling while her eyes had no shine.

"Brother... I'm here, did you murder our mother and father?" the girl said with dead eyes while smiling."It is their fault for trying to kill me" Rui said expressionless."Okay, brother shall we go now?" the girl asked with the same expression as before."Yes" the boy said and stood up and grabbed the hand of the girl and walked away.

"Is that how it went?" a voiced asked for reassurance."Yes that's how it went, it was only a 24 years ago..." the other voiced responded."I am sorry, I have poor memory..." the previous voice replied with a giggle at the end."Ah, the sun has set... I'll be going now" the other voice said as thy left."See you later, Brother!" the voice said calling the voice their brother.

'Sigh it has only been 24 years... My memory still is bad even then. I bet he is almost finished with his training. That's good' the lone voice thought, as they played with their very long hair. They then left their house and sat on a branch in their wide range of trees in the mountain they live in. And began to sing a song.

"Fly me to the moon, and let play among the stars..."  the voiced pause and continued "Even that I can't remember, hahaha!!"

"I'm back- Yuri where are you?" the voice said trying to find someone."I'm here brother!" as the girl gently went down from the branch she was sitting on."Here drink the blood, I found a human with that rare blood" the voice revealed to be the girls brother said while handing a cup of blood."Okay, brother" The girl said as she takes a drink 'Ugh... I hate this but I need to do this'

As the 2 converse another demon appeared being chased by villagers. The demon begged them to save her, the siblings look at each other. The boy then stood up and immediately disposed of the villagers, while having a (telepathic)conversation with their master. After that the boy went up to the demon, showed a hand and said.

"Welcome to the Family"
