The end

this was how the story was meant to continue and eventually end. the tropes that are in the following story points are not many peoples favorites, one of them being the pregnancy trope, but it won't end like you think. i promise. this is going to be heartbreaking because i also like sad stories. other tropes being, unknown father trope, meaning we don't know who the father is but there are inclinations, i like this trope because it creates a lot of drama.

also i'm going to treat this like a "behind the scenes," i'll include things like my thought process and such and small details.

onto what happens!

so at the party when mingyu and wonwoo go off to do the dirty, areum gets away form myungho to go to the bathroom and mistakenly walks into them doing the dirty and joins in because you only live once and this girl seems to be on limited time with the whole selene curse dangling over her head.

after doing the dirty she makes her way back to myungho and her last wish is to leave early and have fun somewhere else. they end up going to a nearby lush hotel and jump into the pool together and they have a blast, this was a chance to create cute moments between them. i liked having an equal balance between the members that were love interests but i was clearly biased because i really really really love seungcheol, clearly... and i'm also very biased towards the hip-hop unit.

anyways after namjoon's birthday, they all make there way home.

two months go by and she keeps getting closer and closer to wendy and the other red velevet members excluding seulgi because she's disappeared.

during those two months she hooks up with soonyoung after a nice dinner date. they go back to a hotel that he owns and it wasn't what soonyoung planned but they ended up doing the nasty too.

she also hooks up with myungho, but i honestly haven't thought of a way to say that they did it. i don't know when but they did. give some suggestions... create headcannons if you will because i can't think of much anymore.

then october comes around, jeonghan' s birthday is on the fourth and areum wants to do something fun for his birthday. she nagged at him all day to do something special but he doesn't like birthdays, that's what he makes her believe, but at the end of the night, she walks into his room and he has set up a movie night for them. pillow fort and everything! because he loves her very much.

anyways, things get spicy and they do it, fun movie night.

anyways at some point she does it every day of the week with a different one of them each day. one member for each day of the week. (god, my mind is vile) (4th week of august)

this is where she gets pregnant... i know the pregnancy trope is a controversial thing, but personally i love it. even though i'm terrified of children.

it's very heartbreaking, because none of them expected this to happen. no vampire has ever impregnated a human, you know the trope. anyways, she realized that her period is late and that she has been getting nauseas to certain food.

-how it would go down-

one day she is in university and she decides to ask wendy (we know she's up to no good being areum's friend but at this moment we like her because it's dangling in the air but it isn't confirmed, she is our friend here)

"hey... so my period has gone away," she paused for a second. saying these words out loud made it real, "and i've been having unprotected sex... like a lot," she sheepishly admitted, her gaze focused on the tethered plastic and metal table. "don't tell me," wendy placed her hand over areum's, her other hand covering her mouth.

"i don't know if it's possible because he's sterile," she lied. areum hadn't told wendy everything. she basically knows nothing and the bare minimum in all things concerning her life. the only thing they had in common was university classes and talking about school activities.

wendy held a worried expression with a hint of confusion. "have you had any weight changes, have you been more stressed than usual?" she furrowed her brow in concern. "things like that can affect your cycle."

areum chuckled a little as tears form in the corner of her eyes. "yeah, i can't possibly be pregnant," she laughed a little louder, trying to laugh at the situation she was in.

it was impossible, right?

she got home that day and she had been feeling strange for a long long time about it, a few weeks passed, about 3 weeks and she can't take the anxiety anymore. so she calls jungkook in desperations because she can't take not knowing. the symptoms of pregnancy were becoming stronger and stronger. she would crave strange food, she became nauseous at food she loved previously and was more emotional than usual.

she calls him crying one day and he comes running because he obviously still cares about areum. she's basically his little sister. jungkook buys a test for her and it comes back positive. they do this in the university unisex bathrooms, he waits for her to pee on the stick and then comes in to wait for the result with her. the entire time she's crying because she realizes that because she's going to inevitably become selene she won't be able to see this child grow up.

anyways it's positive and she has no idea who the father could be.

that same day jungkook asks the seventeen members if he could take her out for the day to spend some time together because they haven't spend much time together in a long time and they agree begrudgingly.

he takes her to an OBGYN and hilariously the doctor thinks jungkook is the father and they all have a laugh. the results come in... it's official. she's around 8 weeks pregnant.

one more month passes and she still hasn't told them. but she has begun to show a little, the slightest bump is growing. she keeps up with her OBGYN appointments because jungkook keeps taking her. this was how they were going to properly make up and how they were going to become close again. at the end of the day he loves her dearly.

this entire time seokmin has noticed that she has been acting very differently with the nausea and the extreme emotions and the very specific cravings so he sits down and talks with her and asks what's going on because he's worried and he cares very much about her. She tells him through tears and hiccups, and he is absolutely stunned. He has no idea how this is possible.

he wants to kill the members that did this. he gets up without a word and goes to seungcheol and pins him against the wall as he was walking through the halls. everyone is stunned and he screams at him and it gets out. everyone now knows that she's pregnant (january)

they are all stunned because anyone would be stunned at news like this. and joshua is the one that's most angry about this. areum is his daughter and finding out one of his best friends got her pregnant isn't a nice thought so he was most furious out of all of them.

but jun has an idea, or better said a way to find out how this was possible and he talks to all of them to speak with kai. areum is selene's host body, meaning she is still the mother of vampires, ergo that's how this could be possible.

so through arguments and much screaming, kai comes to where they live and he confirms it. she was pregnant because she is the host body of selene, her body isn't completely human, her energy isn't completely human. this explains why she never seemed to get along with many humans, because she didn't belong with them. vampires seem to do anything to protect her and seem to absolutely love and accept her because she is the mother of vampires even though they don't know it they love her.

anyways many months pass and june is here. areum's due date is july. that fact is very very important.

throughout this entire time, she tells wendy, "hey i'm pregnant," and all the red velvet girls a super happy for her. during this entire time there was supposed to be many many cute moments of areum with members.

and they start coming to appointments with her but they get a new doctor altogether, one that they have known for many years and knows a lot about the supernatural. he's one of the few humans that know about the vampire society.

but still they can't narrow down the father. it was most likely that the baby was conceived in the 4th week of october.

there were going to be so many cute moments, i don't think you guys get it.

anyways, she still feels uneasy because one day she'll become selene and she won't be around for many of her baby's moment's in life. she still continues to have dreams about selene and eventually the dreams become so vivid that she can actually talk to and even feel selene in the dreams. they have conversations about how they could get her soul to be repressed so that she wouldn't have to come back. she still loves kai but she can't be with him anymore because they are so toxic to each other.

selene tells areum about a way for her soul to leave her body. areum is worried about her baby because selene's soul is the only way she can be pregnant, even if she has her body, it's her soul that allows it.

selene's soul can leave her body, if she goes to a vampire corpse and transfers her soul to it. that way she won't be able to come back and she can finally have peace.

at one point wendy wants to spend a day with areum. let's just say her acting skill are much better than seulgi's because none of the members suspect anything from her.

-wendy and what she was about-

so seulgi was working independently form gong-myung. she was the one that told him about all their secrets and how to kill them. seulgi and the other red velvet girlies work together because they hate the seventeen members, but they don't work alone. bambam is the one that really has been planning their downfall.

he has hated the seventeen members for millennia because of their connection to kai. basically he hates the hierarchy of the vampire society. he hates that kai ruled over everything and only the vampires that are close to him are the ones that are most acknowledged. he doesn't want a hierarchy, let's call him an anarchist because he doesn't think that vampires should live by rules. they are immortal beings that have immense power. they should be the dominating power, not humans. he thinks vampires shouldn't live in the shadows, secretly controlling the entire world (reminds me of a real life organization lmao)

anyways for many years he's been trying to find a way to destroy this hierarchy, secretly from the other got7 members. he finds out about the existence of selene and what she means to kai. he bribes taemin to tell him everything. taemin knows everything let's just say. and after kai finds out areum is selene, taemin tells bambam, and slowly he finds a way to get to her.

he knew of a bitter mafia boss that wanted revenge for his brother's death so he met gong-myung. better said he got seulgi to do the dirty work for him. red velvet were fledgling vampires and he was the one that turned them. he trained them to control their bloodlust and other things and slowly but surely (before he knew of selene's existence, he knew that he couldn't be the one to do all the work or they would try to stop him, kill him. so he spent many years training red velvet) they devoted their entire lives to him. they grew to be like him.

wendy finds a way to kidnap the very pregnant areum and hides her. this is where she meets bambam for the first time and she finds out everything.

red velvet leave clues to find out where areum is. seventeen goes crazy trying to find out where she is no they love her so much and she is so heavenly pregnant.

two weeks go by and they haven't been able to find her. areum is now two weeks away form her due date and she has been going through a lot.

bambam forced the red velvet members to basically torture her. they don't like doing it even though they are devoted to him because she is pregnant. even they have a moral compass. bambam on the other hand doesn't care and they continue the torture.

she is very starved and she has many cuts and bruises all over her body the only thing that kept her hanging on was the thought of being saved and selene coming to comfort her every night. she had become so physically tied to areum that when the moon was high they could talk as two normal people could.

bambam is using areum to draw out seventeen and by extension kai to get them to him where he could kill them and the whole society would fall apart.

bambam was enjoying watching them go crazy. no one knew that he was behind it yet so he watched idly by.

kai was also looking for her. he had already lost many versions of selene. he hates being away from her. he loves her very much. even though they actually kind of hate each other... they're so toxic...

the most painful time he had ever had to see selene dead was yeji. as you remember yeji was soonyoung's older sister in the series. the night that the seventeen members were turned he was the one that killed dorian right after he killed them all. the very next morning, before they awoke, he passed by to see how many new fledgling vampires were made by dorian's craziness. dorian was another anarchist.

laying beside the seventeen members' bodies he saw yeji who was supposed to be the next selene. but she wasn't turned, she died before there was any blood in her system so she died of the bubonic plague.

eventually wendy snaps and she can't take any more torturing of areum. she's very pregnant and the entire time they were going to university together she had actually grown to like her very much and almost considered her a friend. wendy goes to the seventeen members. they had been going on a rampage trying to find her to no avail.

they find where areum is being hidden and bambam is in the room when they unexpectedly enter, but seungcheol was the only one that was able to make it, the other members were trying to get past the guards. as high and might bambam was he still compelled many mafia members to give him guards to protect him. it was a cheap but effective way to protect himself.

seungcheol is stunned to see areum in such a horrid state and kills bambam in an instant almost. he takes areum off the chains that were holding her form the ceiling.

basically she was crouched down but her arms were being suspended form the middle of the room, that was the only thing that was holding her up.

with a very broken heart she realizes something horrid. this is the very sad part. because of all the torture, a week into her disappearance she feels her baby stop kicking. the baby passes away in her. this actually makes me want to cry and i debated on this a lot if i should continue with this story point, but there's no way a baby can survive all that, especially a vampire baby that is already more weak then a normal baby in a human body.

when seungcheol finds her and kills bambam (btw i love the got7 members, but i still needed a villain) she finds this chance to transfer selene's soul, her baby is gone so there is no reason to keep selene form her peaceful end. she crawls her way to his corpse, through a lot of pain, she takes a deep breath and says goodbye to selene.

selene gets her peaceful end after many years in existence. too many years.

seungcheol feeds her blood but the damage to her body is so great that he has no choice but to turn her.

she awakes the next day to her belly being deflated. she awoke the moment the doctor took the baby from her body (not very scientifically accurate but this is the supernatural). she holds her baby for the first time and the doctor asks if they want a DNA test to know who the father was.

everyone is heartbroken and areum sees many of them cry, many for the first time. wonwoo is beside her and jeonghan is at her other side. seungcheol is looking down in a corner of the room. joshua is at the foot of the bed with the doctor and all the others are scattered about the room with solemn expressions as areum looks down at her dead baby.

the results come in and wonwoo is the father of the baby.

and when he hears that he breaks down even more.

then we fast forwards a few months. it is december 2023 in the series, and areum decides that she wants to make their fake marriage official. not to all 13 but the 7 that she's actually in a relationship with... it's a weird wedding... it's a vampire wedding... vampires are weird.

by now she's still very sad about her baby passing. kai is furious and almost kills areum because selene actually died and he can sense it. she's finding the ropes to being a vampire and she's enjoying her new life. wendy apologized profusely to areum because of what she did and she disappears and the other red velvet girls were killed during the fight to find areum.

the story was supposed to end with the marriage, symbolizing the new possibilities of her new future. she no longer has to worry about selene, she's a vampire now, bambam' s attempt to overthrow the vampire hierarchy was destroyed, and she has everything at her disposal now. and of course she's still heartbroken about her baby girl and so are all of them, especially wonwoo.

then i was going to post an epilogue, fast forward 20 years. areum is in full control of her new vampire state, she has finished many levels of schooling and they now live in monaco because people that knew her since she was young were going to start wondering why she hadn't changed a bit at almost 40 years of age.

i will post the epilogue tomorrow.
