Before Caine joined you on this ride.... Just moments prior.

Suddenly back in the circus tent a voice called out to the nothingness. Colorful blocks and playground features creaked and groaned under the weight of a foot steps that belong to the new circus member. They hesitantly explored the strange place. Searching every corner for a sign of life.

"Hello?"

They round the corner and walk down a hallway filled with strange wooden doors that had cartoonish faces printed on each one. That seemed to be the only defining feature of each door, none of them having numbers. He figured it meant they were some sort of odd apartments. That is until he stumbled across your door. He paused for a moment eyeing the image of a bright cupcake cartoon character that eerily reminded him of someone.

"Is that you..?"

He approached the door and placed a hand on your image, "y/n?"

His words echoed out into the empty circus tent. Well.. empty for everything except Caine's all seeing eyes. In that moment they all fixated on this strange new circus member. Following him all the way up until he arrived at your door. They floated from a far enough distance to where the unsuspecting individual took no notice of the eyes. Although a shiver ran down his spine as he looked down the colorful hellish hallway that horrified him slightly. He saw no one on the other end. Though he could've sworn there was someone there just moments before.

Caine simply sat in his office eyeing the man below. His keys tapped gently on the surface of his desk as he reclined in his office chair. His lids lowering as he felt a twinge of annoyance when you spoke. All movements stopped when he heard you call out for her.

His glove clenched knowingly, deep down in his gut he knew he couldn't let this new member get between the budding love.

Suddenly the man felt the ground below disappear as a trapdoor opened below him. He fell through screaming in terror before hitting strange digital waters. Colorful eyes slowly opened one by one all focusing on him. The new circus member was greeted by the corrupted monsters as they thrashed about violently. He began sinking until he lost consciousness below the murky depths.

"Wait. No!!! Someone help me!!!"

Caine left, feeling like the matter was solved. As the new member's cries fell on deaf ears.
