(12) Xmas PT.1 | Let it snow|

Alex's POV

The rest of the night went pretty well. John figured out that the team was in on it and decided that we should all go to the bar to celebrate. I don't remember anything else except for John dancing on the table, then falling off. 

Of course, I got a hangover. It felt just WONDERFUL to wake up with a pounding headache. I also woke up to birds chirping, and a sleeping John next to me. This is the second time I've slept with him. To be honest, it felt kind of nice sleeping with a warm body, since it was winter. 

I didn't plan to be in bed all day, so I attempted to get out of bed, when I was yanked back down to the bed. I look at my arm to see that John's hand was grasped around my wrist. Oh well! John wraps his arms around me and we lay there until we here a commotion by our door. Then the door busts open to reveal Herc and Laf. 

Herc's POV

"We need help with something, so stop being gay!" Laf yelled. Knowing John, there was no way for him to stop being gay. " First of all, I'm bi, not gay. Second, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN OUR DORM UNANNOUNCED?!" Alex fired back. " Can you guys stop yelling?" John groaned. " S-sorry for waking you, John." I said. I knew John had a HECTIC night last night, so we put Alex and John in the same bed. I thought it wouldn't go very well, but it seems like it went fine.

" Anyways, we need help making a cake for Herc's mom." Laf says. Alex rolls his eyes. " So you need help making a cake for Herc's mom for Christmas?" John asked, rubbing his eyes. " Yes. Also, everyone is invited to the Schuyler's mansion for Christmas, by the way." I said. " So we would be there for Christmas?" Alex asked, then proceeding to check his phone. " You will stay two days before Christmas, then one day after." John looks at me funny, then he also grabs is phone." Is everyone going?" Alex asked. " Everyone except you guys. Everyone has to be ready to leave at five A.M tomorrow to leave." I said. John and Alex looked at each other for a minute, and then they look at both of us. "We're in." They say in unison. They quickly hop out of bed, and come to our dorm to help us make a lemon pound cake, since it's my mom's favorite. After we made it, John and Alex left to pack, so it was just Laf and I. 

" Are we ever gonna tell them we are dating?" Laf asked. " They either already know, or they will figure out eventually." He takes my hand and leads me to the couch. He turns on a movie, and we cuddled for awhile, before drifting off to sleep.

John's POV

We realized it was dark, and snowing. We went to bed, knowing we had to get up early the next morning.

We woke up to loud knocking on our door. Alex already had all of his stuff by the door and was staring at the window, watching it snow harder. " Are you ready?" I asked, closing my bedroom door. " Yeah. The snow has picked up." He responded, walking towards the door. 

Alex's POV

We opened the door to see everyone and one other person. He looked familiar. I think I know who it is.

" Pardon me, are you Aaron Burr, sir?" I asked.

" That depends, who's asking?" The man responded. " My name is Alexander Hamilton, I heard that you were crazy smart!" I responded. " Well, I'm glad to see someone here thinks that!" He said. We all walked out and got in Herc's rented SUV.

When we got there, we were all greeted by warm hugs from the sisters. " We have three rooms available, so four of you will have to share a room with each other. Sorry about that, but I have started to renovate the house and I realized we have too many rooms." Phillip Schuyler said, and tried to put on a fake smile. " Who's staying with who?" Herc said. " I-I will stay with you." Laf said, blushing a little. John spoke up, " I will stay with Alex." I started blushing like crazy and my fingers are suddenly between his, and tightly, I must add. " I will stay with Eliza." Angie said, and Eliza smiled at her.

" Yes! I get a room to myself!" Burr mutters to himself. We all step inside, and head up to our rooms. John closes our door." I'm kind of nervous about sleeping with you." I said, my body shaking. " It's ok. You have slept with me before." John said. " Yeah but it was either unacquainted or I was drunk!" I responded." It will be fine." He said, and then all of the power went out. John and I look at each other and we both walk outside, hand in hand.

" Hey John?" I asked. " Yeah?" He looked concerned.

" For the first time, I'm gonna spend Christmas with someone. It makes it even better that it's someone I'm deeply in love with, and care about. When I was young, there really wasn't much about Christmas. All we did was put up a tree and decorate it with pinecones and even if we were lucky we would find shells to put on the tree. It wasn't enjoyable when most of them were spent with my brother, but at least it was someone. All I can say is..... Thank you for being here John. You have made my life better." I said. He started to tear up. I turned towards him, and kissed him, and he kissed back. Just as we kissed, the team walked out. 

" Alright, alright! That's what I'm talking about!" Eliza screamed and everybody clapped and cheered, and we pulled away. 

I finally get to spend Christmas in a place where it's more than one person. I'm surrounded by people who care about me. Most importantly, I was surrounded by one person that really understood me.

It was John.
