K1 "Problem/ Meeting"

JENNIE'S POV

**knock**knock**

"Jennie wake up!! Open the door now!!" I heard my manager shouted while knocking the door continuously

'Aish, there she goes again' I said rolling my eyes while I get my pillow and cover my ears.

"Jennie! Your going to open this door now or you want me to----------------" I cut her off before she can say that thing again.

"Okay okay!! Fine I'll open it now!!" I shouted then got up in my bed, 'fvck this headache it's not helping at all.

I open the door and saw her angry stare.

"Aish, what? If your going to scold me will you please do that later" I said then get on my bed again covering myself with my blanket

"Well I assume that you are aware that you did something stupid last night, didn't you?" She said, she's trying to be calm.

"Uhmm, well yeah but I don't remember what it is." I said innocently, sh!t this fvcking headache is killing me.

"Here drink this" she said giving me a medicine and a water "and fix yourself we're going somewhere" She said with her plain monotone voice, she's pissed.

'But' I complain in my mind but I think she heard it "And no buts because we are going whether you like it or not, If I have to drag you outside then I'll------" she said looking at me seriously but I cut her off

"Okay stop, I'll go with you, you don't have to drag me. I have a feet, I can walk" I said as a matter of fact. Then I got up and went to the bathroom.

"So, where are we going?" I asked Lee Sang-eun, my manager who wake me up a while ago.

"8th floor, at the President office" she said still with her poker face and monotone voice. I admit, I suddenly became nervous hearing what she said but I just laugh it.

"Oh? Why? Am I really in my worst last night? What did I do? Are they going to suspend me now?" I said acting like it was nothing

"Jennie, do you really think that this is all just a joke. You know what, I don't understand, you worked hard to reach your goal and be where you are right now, but what are you doing, you are slowly ruining everything." She said seriously looking at me. "Jen I'm just concern about you" she said calmly

I sigh "Okay, I'm sorry" while looking down. Lee Sang-eun is like an older sister to me, she treat me like her own sibling that's why I understand why she's acting like that. "I admit, I'm nervous right now but I'm willing to accept whatever the consequence of my stupidity last night"

"If you just know what you did last night" I heard her whisper

"Why? Seriously, what did I do last night?" this curiousity is killing me, "is it really a big deal?"

"You'll know later" then she drag me out of the elevator then head to the President's office.

She knock and Mr. Lee Seung-hyun, the president shouted 'come in'.

We entered, he let us sit first before saying"Good morning ladies, I'll make this fast because we still have to go to YG restaurant for a meeting." He then turn to look at me "Kim Jennie I'm sure you know that you are one of the famous actress for how many years until now, people respect you but I don't know what's up to you for doing some stupid things" he said looking directly to me. I look down saying,

"I'm sorry Mr. Lee. I was so drunk last night that I didn't know what I did, I'm really sorry" I said still looking down

"Well, don't get nervous" he said calmly making me look into him "This shock me too, but you're really lucky that an offer came up that can save you from that issue with Lisa Manoban" my eyes got bigger when I heard that name

"What? Issue with that Manoban" I said almost shouting. I look at Sang-eun unnie but she just raised her eyebrow.

"Yes, both of you just created an issue that can ruin your career, but thanks God that director Yang, Kreptoon's most prominent film director offer both of you a project that can kill that issue, but it will be your decision to take the offer and let the issue die or decline it and let the fans hate you believing the news and make a war that can get the both of you down." Mr. Lee said

I was about to say something but Mr. Lee spoke "Okay I think this is enough, time to go and Jennie I'm sure that you are going to choose the right decision" He said and went outside

Lee Sang-eun unnie hold my wrist and we followed Mr. Lee. 'Aish what did I do?' think Jennie think.

We are now going inside Mr. Yang's Restaurant for the meeting.

Until now they haven't told me that stupid thing that I did, I'm still clueless right now except the fact that I know that we are going to meet Mr. Yang and that Manoban here. My head isn't cooperating.

When we enter the VIP room, I saw them already sitting they stood and greet us. Manoban smiled at me but I just rolled my eyes at her. She is with Mr. Kwon Ji-yong, the president of Kwon Company where she work, and a man beside her that I assume is her manager.

Mr. Lee and Mr. Kwon is now having their conversation. They look like close friend in the way they talk right now.

All of us stop what we're doing when the door open revealing Mr. Yang. He smiled at us.

"Good morning Mr. Lee and Mr. Kwon thank you for accepting this meeting" they shake hands, and we do the same

"It is our pleasure Mr. Yang" both the president said

Until they decided to start this eff!n meeting.

"So we all know that there is an issue that is spreading like a fire about Ms. Kim and Ms. Manoban, and since both of you are one of a leading actress in whole Kreptoon this will have a negative impact to both of you" Mr. Yang said while looking at me and Manoban.

'Aish I hate it, I don't know what is this fvcking issue' I said talking to myself

Lee Sang-eun unnie suddenly whispered to me 'Stop talking to yourself and just listen' she said firmly

"Well based on your reaction Miss Kim you still haven't heard or see what that issue is, right?" Mr. Yang asked me.

I look at Eun unnie and it seems like she's waiting for my answer as well."To be honest, yes, I don't have any clue what I did last night and what stupid rumors they made to make it an issue" I said plastering my calm expression

"Jennie" Mr. Lee said looking at me seriously "Watch your words" 'what? Does saying 'stupid' is also a big deal now' "sorry Mr. Yang" Mr. Lee added bowing to Mr. Yang.

'Aish okay Jennie calm down, you already did a fvcking mystery mistake don't add another one' I said to myself.

Mr. Yang just smile "It's okay Mr. Lee don't worry. Well let me proceed, and let me be the one to inform Ms. Kim about the issue." He look at me then to Manoban

"All of us were shock when we saw a video of you two kissing each other. That video is continouosly spreading on line. Even your managers, Mr. Lee, and Mr. Kwon can't do anything to stop it from spreading, and just this morning it appeared in televisions and news papers." Mr. Yang said that got me shock 'What the fuck!?'

"You know that both of you are a well known personality, a lot of people look up to you and just a little mistake can have a big effect in your career." Mr. Kwon said to both me and Manoban. I look at Manoban but she has a calm expression. 'Damn this! Don't tell me this is just nothing to her!'

"Mr. Lee and I have already talk about it few days ago, and Mr. Yang is willing to help us kill that issue." Mr. Kwon stop for a while and look directly to me and Manoban. "Mr. Yang offer a project to both of you, you will be the main character in a series that he will make, we'll the story is already famous cause it was a book first and a lot of people are asking to make it a film." He added

"The story is published 1 year after the government of Kreptoon approved the same sex relationship, my closest friend wrote it. It is a love story but not the ordinary one. The title of it is 'The Deal', do you know something about that book?" Mr. Yang asked looking at us.

"I already saw that book but I haven't read it, all I know is it's a love story of two girls" Manoban said and look at me smirking.  'Love story of two girls? Wait don't tell me---- aishh no I don't like this!'"But I hope you don't mind me asking, how is that project going to kill the issue?" Manoban ask.

"Right! Can't we just schedule an interview and clear things out, that we are just drunk and we didn't know what we're doing" I said cause I don't want to work to that project especially with Manoban.

"Actually, being caught drunk kissing each other is not really our problem here" Mr. Lee said. 'Well, that's a problem to me, I can't believe that I kiss an annoying person' "Your fans started hating Lisa because they think that you two are in a relationship and she is just using you for her own benefit and eventually will drag you down after so she will have all the attention" Mr. Lee

"Same to Lisa's fans who hate you now with exactly the same reason" Mr. Kwon

"Even though we came from different companies we never think of each other us rivals and in fact Mr. Kwon and I are friends for we don't know how many years until now, but let's just keep that a secret to everyone. All we want is to fix this problem together" Mr. Lee said. Wah they're friends we never know about that.

"Some rival companies are taking advantage of what's happening to both of you, maybe they think that this is the time for their idols. Well, it's been how many years that you two are on top in this industry and a lot of other actress and actors wanted to be in your position but they just can't. So they will do anything to get both of you out of the picture." Mr. Kwon smirk

"They are also using the news that spread this past few years about you two being an enemy in real life, and they are using your fans as a weapon to drag both of you down. Your fans really love you that they are willing to do anything just to protect you. And when people saw you two kissing--boom!! Fake news has spread everywhere to make it worst" Mr. Lee

'Aishh, this meeting is getting longer and longer' "So basically what your trying to say is those stupid rumors came from rival companies or actresses?" I asked

"Well yeah, for how many years that we've been in this industry we already know that kind of set up" Mr. Kwon

"Tss, and my fans are now against Lisa, and vice versa?"

"Exactly, and there's a hundred percent possibility that they will also be the reason of your downfall!" Mr. Lee

"You know fans are very important when you are an idol. And both of you has a lot of fans that can be a basher, so we think that maybe it's time to kill the issue of you two being an enemy" Mr. Lee

"And this project is your way out?" Me. 'Manoban doesn't really seems to care'

"Maybe, but let's just say that this is an opportunity for the both of you, because this is a famous series that the whole Kreptoon is waiting and who ever will play the character will have the big break, so let's be thankful that Mr. Yang here chose both of you despite of that enemy issue" Mr. Lee

"When I saw this two, I know that they will perfectly fit the characters" Mr. Yang said smiling at us

"Thank you for the trust Mr. Yang" Mr. Kwon said smiling. Why do I feel like there is something behind their smile.  "So yeah, we already talk about this with your managers and we agreed to give both of you only two choices, ACCEPT the project and we'll get you out of that issue or DECLINE but you have to find a way out of that issue on your own" Mr. Kwon said with a smirk

I furrowed my brow, I look at Mr. Lee and he's also smirking, I look at Sang-eun unnie but they all have a playful smile on their face. Aish!

"I'll take it, I would love to work with Ms. Kim" Manoban said smiling at me, I rolled my eyes at her again.

"Is this kind of blackmailing?" I ask them

"No, Mr. Lee just wanted to give you a lesson, and this project will give you benefits believe me." Mr. Yang said, aish can I wipe the smirk on their faces, it looks like they are up with something.

"Okay I think let's end the meeting here, Ms. Manoban doesn't have a problem about this right" Mr. Lee asked her and she just nodded "my actress here is our only problem, but don't worry Mr. Yang I'll convince her just give me a week" He said looking at Mr. Yang

"Ah yes I'll wait for that Mr. Lee, and I already gave the papers to their managers, just read it and sign it so we can start filming soon" Mr. Yang

Then they all said their thank you and good bye until Mr. Lee, Eun unnie, and I are the only one left here.

Mr. Lee look at me "Well Jennie I will give you one week to decide and if ever you accept the offer just tell me so we can announce your new project with Mr. Yang and especially with Ms. Manoban immediately to end that issue and shut the rival company who is trying to put us down." Mr. Lee said still with a smirk "Hope you'll choose the right decision" then he wink at me then left us saying good bye to Eun unnie.
