Chapter 7

-Chief Daniel's P.O.V -

"Any tips come in ?" He asked as Officer Hanes walked Into his office.

Officer Hanes left a file on his desk, shaking his head.

" The only tip we got was about the car they were driving. It was found at a impound. Apparently they left it abandoned. The car there driving now is not known." Officer Hanes replied.

He slammed his fists on the desk. Frustrated about how easy it was for them to cover there tracks. They always seemed to be one step ahead.

"Shannon isn't taking this too well, I'm trying to provide her comfort that Danielle will come back. But she's losing hope every hour we don't find her.." He said.

Shannon has a very good relationship with Danielle. They always spent quality time shopping. Having her missing for 48 hours was taking a toll on her.

He made a promise to bring her back home and he will. Even if he has to make a deal with the devil.

"If I have to search the ends of the earth, I will." He goes on." I got a idea, you in ?"

Officer Hanes nods his head in agreement.

"What do you have in mind ?" Officer Hanes asked.

"If we want to find 1D, we need to think like 1D. They sell drugs and who do they have sell there drugs ?"He asked.

His plan was to pose as a guy looking to make some money by delivering some drugs for them. But he knew he couldn't do it, they knew who he was.

"We can get one of our Officers to pose as a potential employee, in order to get in. You need to ask people who are selling those drugs. Fool them and get there contact number. Than bam, We'll know where they are." He finished.

"Who are we gonna have pose as the 'Potential employee' it can't be you because they know who you are." Officer Hanes asked.

Chief Daniel's looks at his friend, thinking.

"You could do it ? I mean if your comfortable being involved with criminals for a short period." He said."I really need your help with this."

Officer Hanes seems to think it over and than quickly nods his head.

"I'm in." Officer Hanes says.

"Are you sure ? I don't want to make you think you have to do this ?" He asks.

Chief Daniel's was desperate..he needed a trusted friend and here is one.

"If I can help my boss get his daughter back, I'm willing to do anything." Officer Hanes replied, Chief Daniel's smiled.

His friend and fellow officer was willing to risk his life to save his child. He only hoped this plan didn't backfire..
