Chapter 21 The Kim's secret part 1

Taehyung's POV

If you told me this morning that my day would end like that, I would have laughed at you.

Everything started so well...

As soon as I woke up, I went to the kitchen and ate breakfast while I talked with the chief.

I then took a shower and got ready for college. Once I was ready, my dad proposed me to drive me and I agree so I could have called Soomi on our way.

We talked about all and nothing, making me happy and the smile on my father's face as he catch me trying to hold my laughter makes me even more happy. As if my happiness made him happy.

Halfway, there was a traffic jam that made us arriving late at the university. One of the best things is that I didn't have make up an excuse since my dad - aka the principal - was with me.

Beside, it gave me even more times to discuss with Soomi (even if she was in class)

Yeah, you could say that my day started pretty really well.

At lunch, like usual, I ate with JungKook and Jimin then we went back to our class - which was kind of boring might I say.

"Damn I forgot I didn't came with my car" I said as I put my hand in my coat's pocket and realize it was empty.

"I can drive you if you want" Jimin offered me as we get out the university.

"Nah, I'll go back home with my dad. See you tomorrow" I said to Jimin and JungKook then I walk back in the university.

As I past the gate, girls drooled at me by seriously, I don't even care about them. They're so annoying.

I wait up for the elevator - yes there is an elevator in my university - and went to the 1st floor where is situated my dad's office.

"Can I see my dad ?" I ask to the secretary

"I'm sorry mister but M.Kim has a meeting. Even so, do you want me to call him to see if he can receive you ?" She ask and was about to dial his office's number

"No, it's not urgent. Thank you" I said then I left the room.

As I walk outside, I spot the sight of Jimin leaning on his truck, talking with someone.

"Oh Taehyung-ah I thought you would leave with your dad" said Jimin as I approach them.

"Oh, what's up TaeTae !" Hoseok said and we high five

"I'm good what about you ? What are you doing here ?" I ask

"I'm fine, I past by here and saw Jimin so I stop to say hi"

"Yah ! I'm talking to you" Jimin said

"Sorry, yeah but my dad has a meeting. Can you drive me there ?"

"Sure"

"So what are you doing these days ? Still dancing ?" I ask to Hoseok as we sit at a table in a coffee shop.

We decide to stop a little and have a chat with Hoseok before Jimin drive me back to my house.

"Yeah, still doing dance battle. What about you ? You're still studying business ?"

"Unfortunately yes..."

"Why don't you say to your parents that you don't want to take their business ?"

"I don't know... I'm scared that if I do my parents would send my brother back to the US..."

"Oh yeah your brother is back"

"You didn't know ?"

"Of course I knew, I was the one who took him at the airport"

Oh, I forget to tell you that Hoseok is my brother's best friend.

"Do you think my parents would agree to let me do whatever I want if Jin takes their business instead of me ?"

"Ugh... I'm not sure... I don't think they would agree..."

"Why ? He's elder"

"Yeah but... whatever. If you don't want to take their business what do you want to do ?"

"Hum... I've never thought about that..."

"What do you think about joining me in my dance battle ?"

"Me ?! Are you serious ? I don't dance"

"But you're not that bad. What about you Jimin ?" Hoseok ask, turning to Jimin

"Me ? Eh... I don't know..."

"Wait, you still haven't joined his crew ? I thought you went to his dance battle the last time" I said surprised

"Eh... Jimin didn't even danced. He doesn't want to compete me"

"That's bullshit ! I wanted to dance but we didn't have enough time !" Jimin said crossing his arm on his chest.

"We had time !"

"No we didn't !"

"Yes we did !"

"No !"

They continued to argue like that for minutes and I couldn't help but laugh at them.

"Yah Taehyung-ah ! Let's go" Jimin said standing up

"But-"

"No but ! I'm going now. Whether you're coming right now and I'm driving you or you'll walk back home" he said as he walk toward the door.

"Bye Hoseok-hyung, see you next time" I said as I stand up, still laughing at their childishness.

"Bye TaeTae" Hoseok said smiling

When I came out the shop, Jimin was sitting in the driver seat, his hand gripping the steel as his finger move with impatience.

"What about time" Jimin said when I open the passenger seat.

"I just came out few second after you"

"Whatever" he said rolling his eyes

The tension disappeared as he pulled up the engine and we past the rest of the way talking and listening to music.

"See ya" Jimin said as he park in front of my house

"See ya" I said as I step out the car.

I walk toward the gate and the bodyguard open it.

"Annyeonghaseyo Mister"

"Annyeonghaseyo" I greet when I past by them.

I cross the yard, smiling at how my day had been so well. I even had fun at the shop with Hoseok and Jimin.

"You won't do that !" I heard my mom screaming as I open the front door.

I slowly closed the door, caring about not making noise. No one knew I was home yet.

I put off my shoes and walk on tip toes toward the living room where was my mom.

"I want to do that !" Jin shout

The door was wide open so I stay behind the wall but pick my head on the side.

"You won't do that !"

"You send me to the US ! You told me I could do whatever I want !"

"That was because you were in the US ! You're now in Korea, you're living under my house so you won't do that !"

"I can and I'll do !"

"Oh yeah ?! Then let's see" mom said as the rip a piece of paper in her hand

"NO ! How dare you ?! It was my letter of acceptance !" Jin shout putting his hand on his head.

"What are you doing now ? You don't have a school anymore" mom smirk as she look at Jin. Then Jin lift his head and the look he was giving to mom was so scaring, filled with anger that I thought he was about to strangle her.

"You b*** !" Jin said picking up the paper on the ground and he turn to walk away.

I hide my head so he wouldn't see me.

"What are you going to do ? Going to the school and convince them to take you without the paper of inscription ?" my mom asked, mocking my brother

"Yes !" Jin said not even turning to look at her.

"I won't allow you" she said and my brother turn to look at her.

"You have no right on me ! I can do whatever I want whether you like it or not !"

"You're living under my house !"

"YOU'RE NOT MY MOM !" Jin shout and I froze.

Wait... what ?!

I stood in front of the door to see if they were joking.

But no...

The murder look on my brother and the fact that my mom was looking at Jin straight in the eyes showed me that they weren't joking.

No, no, no, no. It can't be true !

I didn't even remark that I had been taking few step away until I bumped in a table in the hallway, making the vase above it fall on the ground with the sound of the vase breaking out in pieces.

I turned and was about to pick up the pieces until...

"Taehyung-ah..." Mom and Jin said at the same time and I froze.

I slightly turn my head to see them looking at me.

And that's how my day that started so well end like hell.

Wait, did I just end the chapter with a cliffhanger ?!

Hum... I think yeah ;)

Who knew that was the reason why Mrs.Kim hated so much Jin ? Is that even the reason ?
