San ignored Eunha since that day in the forest, which totaled at three days now. The first day she didn't notice, but the second she actively went looking for him. He was nowhere to be found. Even when she asked the others of his whereabouts she wasn't given an answer. It wasn't until the third day she finally ran into him but he immediately walked in the opposite direction. "San." She tried to call out for him, but he didn't answer. "San!" And he was too fast for her to catch up. She didn't understand why he was actively ignoring her. It left her pondering for the rest of the evening, trying to think of any reason he wouldn't want to speak with her, or even be in her presence. But she came up with nothing, now thinking what she could do to make him tell her. And there was only one thing she knew would definitely get his attention, but not in a good way most likely. She traveled to his room with sweaty palms, finding the vampire was nowhere in sight. Her mind raced with anticipation as she opened the creaky door, eyes landing on the desk drawer. She knew better than to touch it especially after what happened her first week in the castle. It's almost been a year at this point, and a lot has changed. Especially between them.        Eunha promised him she'd never read it again. Which wasn't a lie since its purpose wasn't to be read in this scenario. It was simply bait.        She's learned from the past that San isn't the one that opens up about his inner thoughts—not without a bit of persuasion or constant nagging. So it was either piss him off now and find answers, or wait until he either gets over his problem or opens up.        The pregnant human finally pushed through her second thoughts and headed straight for the desk, yanking the drawer open to find what she was looking for. San's journal.        She snatched it quickly and shut the drawer, leaving his room swiftly. Now she just needed to find the vampire it belonged to. She found Yunho in the commons area, hanging his finished masterpiece. A portrait of her. "Oh wow, it looks beautiful. Even better framed."        "You think so? The longer I stare at it, the more I find mistakes." He stood back and stared at it a bit before adjusting it to hang evenly.        "Those are just my flaws you're pointing out." She giggled at his attentive care towards it. But her sentence dragged his attention away. "You have no flaws, sweetheart. Don't even start there." He gave her a playful expression which made her smile harder. "What do you have there?" "Something that will probably piss off San." As if the vampire heard his name, he walked through the main doors to find the pair staring at him. He didn't notice the item in her hand, instead opting to ascend the stairs. "Yah! San!"

He ignored her once again, filling her veins with a fiery rage. "Fine! Come find me when you realize what you're missing."       This seemed to stop him in his tracks, he barely made it up the stairs which allowed him full view of her holding up a treasured item of his. He was in front of her in an instant, almost quicker than the book was ripped from her hand. "Why the hell do you have this?"        "Oh, so now you aren't ignoring me?" Eunha didn't care he took it back, she just wanted him to speak to her. "Are you going to tell me what's wrong with you?"        He was in her face in an instant, but she didn't back down. "Did you think just because you gave me your journal to read, I would immediately hand over mine?" He ignored her question completely, anger radiating off them.        "I don't expect anything from you other than the truth! What is wrong with you the past few days?! You won't even look at me! Did I do something wrong?!" That was the only explanation that made sense. All the times he's been angry or distant originated from something she did or said that ticked him off.        "Not everything is about you, Eunha." She rarely let herself be the center of attention, so normally a comment like this wouldn't hurt. But the tone in his voice broke something in her chest and the tears threatened to roll.        "Why are you being so hurtful? You're acting like a child that runs from his problems rather than facing them head on! You've done that since the day I met you! Hell, it took me months to get any sort of confession out of you!" Tears of anger filled her eyes. "Why is it so hard to just talk to me?! Have I ever made you feel I wouldn't listen or I wasn't trustworthy?!"       "Trustworthy?" San laughed dryly, barely able to contain his words. "You ruined that the day you decided to open and read my personal thoughts with no consideration to how I would feel. Especially someone I never thought worthy of knowing its existence."        The comment from earlier hurt, but that just shattered her heart. "San!" Yunho was still present in the room, and even he was taken aback by his words.        "The journal is off limits. That means don't touch it, don't bother it. Don't even look at it. Do you hear me? Do I need to repeat myself?" The tears rolled down her cheek but she never broke eye contact.        "Fuck the fucking journal! I don't care about it! I haven't since you nearly killed me that night! I only took it so you would finally say something to me! But fine, whatever." Eunha finally stepped back and away from him, still trying to contain her emotions that ran wild. "I'm not going to spend the rest of my life trying to fix the broken mess you've become. I'm done trying. If you won't talk to me, then I might as well be dead. I should have made your life a lot easier by just never coming back, right?"        The vampire was still standing in his spot, an angered expression still tightly placed on his face. "I believe you when you say you don't trust me. You made it pretty clear that day, didn't you? I begged and pleaded for you to read my mind, to find the truth. But I guess it makes sense now, huh."       Eunha finally walked away, brushing past the person still holding his journal with a tight grip. He met eyes with Yunho who wore both a disappointed and angered expression. "You always knew how to ruin things that were good for you. But hell, I never imagined you'd stoop this low."        "Stay out of it. This is all your fault." San tried to walk away but Yunho sped towards him and grabbed his shoulder to face him.        "My fault? How is any of this my fault? You just let the biggest load of shit I've ever heard fly out of your mouth—towards the woman you love, when you could have actually told her the truth. What the hell is wrong with you?" San tried to push past him, but that awakened something in the tallest. A deep rage came flying out, shoving him into the wall out of frustration.        The action spiked the younger's anger and he immediately threw him off. "Get the fuck off of me! I'm not your toy you can throw around!"        "Is that what this is about?" San shoved him back once again—although Yunho had made no attempt to cage him again. "You're scared to let her see you weak?"        San was boiling with anger, like a pot that was about to overflow. "Shut up, Yunho!"        Yunho gritted his teeth and latched onto the front of his shirt, picking him up off the floor to slam him into the wall again. The force knocked his recently hanged painting—which neither of them seemed to care in this moment. "No! You shut up and listen!"        "I said get the fuck off of me!" The smaller tried to shove him off but Yunho wasn't budging this time, fueled by an unexpected rage.        "Is this what you're afraid of?! Do you think being overpowered by me is somehow insulting?! That Eunha will look at you differently?! Do you know how that sounds?!" His words were hitting several nerves, but San couldn't get away. He couldn't throw him off. He couldn't deny it. "Does falling into submission make you feel less of a man?! Is that how you view Wooyoung?!"      "Stop! Fucking stop!"       "Yunho!"      Their presence was joined by Hongjoong and Seonghwa, both staring at the altercation in front of them. His captain's tone made him drop San, but his gaze never left him. "You're going to regret what you said to her. If you don't already. You can't blame me, this is your mistake. Now fucking fix it."
