episode one ~ superpowers

Gia made her way back to where she left Chiara and Ludo, unease settled in her chest as she took a notice of everyone being crowded in front TV screen with speakers next to it.

She couldn't see what was playing, but she could hear Ludovica's voice saying, "tell me I'm yours alone."

"What?" She very clearly recognized Brando's voice as he was just a second ago yelling at her through a door.

"Tell me I'm yours alone."

"You're mine alone," Gia raised onto her tippy toes trying to look throught the crowd and find her friend. It wasn't that hard, as she was staying right in front of the crowd.

"Tell me I'm yours alone," Virginia mocked Ludo, Gia glared at her, even though Virginia couldn't see her.

What happened next Gia couldn't really see, but by the sound of it it seemed as if Ludo attacked Virginia.

"You're hurting me, bitch," Virginia yelled at Ludovica.

Gia immediately made her way to the front of the crowd, towards Ludo. She got there right as Nicco pulled Ludovica away from his girlfriend.

"What the hell are you doing? Take it easy," he told Ludo shoving her lightly from him. Making eye contact with Gianna, he made his way back to Virginia.

Gia glared at him and put her hands on Ludo, "let's go," she told her, still glaring at Nicco, who kneeled next to lying Virginia on the ground, yet his gaze was on Gianna, pulling Ludo's arm gently they made their way out of the house, eyes following both of them.

Once they were outside, Ludo separated from Gia and started running away from her, "Ludo, wait!" Gia called and jogged after her.

Suddenly Ludovica stopped and turned to look at the girl behind her. "Just go home Gianna, and leave me alone. You don't want to be associated with me," she crossed her arms against her chest, bitting her trembling lip.

"What?" Gia furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "I already am associated with you," she let out a chuckle. "I don't care about what people say. Neither should you."

"But before it was just people talking shit, now it's real. Now everyone seen that video and.." she trailed of and let out a sob.

Gia took steps towards her, looking at her with saddness in her eyes.

"I already know how it was with the video, it doesn't change anything about what I think about you, okay?" Gia reached out and grabbed her hand. "Come here," Gia pulled her towards her, into a hug and squeezed her. After a while Ludo gave in and put her arms around Gia and she felt so grateful to have someone like her in her life, finally, after being alone for so long.

After Gia calmed Ludo down, she brought her to a bench, where they sat and just sat in silence, until Gia's phone lit up with a new notification.

"It's Chiara, she's asking if I'm with you," Gia said, looking at Ludo.

Ludovica groaned, "don't answer her."

"Why not?" Gia asked, receiveing a pointed look from the girl next to her, "Ludo, Chiara was not involved in the sick joke, trust me," she assured her, looking into her eyes to prove she was telling the truth.

Ludovica watched her for a minute, to see any sign of Gia not telling the truth, she didn't find any. "Fine, I'll call her."

Gia smiled at her in encouragement, the black haired girl rolled her eyes at her and put the phone on a speaker.

After a minute of ringing, Chiara answered the call, "hey," she said.

"Some friend you are," Ludo angrily said, wanting to hear a reaction from Chiara.

"What did I do?" Chiara asked in confusion.

"You knew about it," Ludo accused her.

"No I didn't," Chiara desperately said, wanting Ludo to believe her.

"besides, it's my fault, because I got that asshole to video us," Ludo said in broken voice. Gia shook her head next to her, putting a reassuring hand in her shoulder.

"I'm sorry, it was a sick joke," Chiara said with empathy in her voice.

"Swear. swear you didn't know."

"I swear," Ludo looked at Gia next to her, Gia gave her a single nod as in to say she believes her, she sighed, "do you feel bad for me?"

"Really bad."

"Then help me and Gia turn this shitty saturday night around," Ludo sent Gia a grin, which she returned in a small smile.

"Okay," they hung up the phone and Ludo sent Chiara a location, where they would meet.

"Let's party!"

Gia and Ludo waited outside of a club, waiting for Chiara to show up.

"How did you even find out about this place?" Gia asked, looking around her, nervously putting her arms around herself.

"I know the owner," Ludo shrugged and didn't say anything else.

Finally, Chiara came into their point of view, "Gia, Ludo," she greeted the girls, pulling both of them into a hug.

"How are you?" Chiara asked, looking at Ludo.

Ludo nodded reassuringly, "better now," she said, looking at the girls with her with a smile. "Let's go inside," she exclaimed, already turning around to run inside.

But Chiara pulled her back, "are you sure?" She asked Ludo, looking at her with wide eyes, her gaze then switching to look at Gia.

"Yes. I even know the owner, they'll give us free cocktails," Ludo tried to persuade Chiara. "Gia's cool going in. Come on!" She exclaimed and turned around again, but was pulled back by Chiara once again.

"Guys!" Chiara exclaimed, looking at both the girls with wide eyes. "They won't let us in. look how I'm dressed," she gestured to her outfit. "Everyone else is dressed up."

"You're wearing a skirt, I would say that automatically makes your outfit better club outfit than my jeans do," Gia joked, looking at her baggy jeans.

"Girls, stop worrying. Of course they'll let us in!" After being pulled back by Chiara the third time, she looked at her annoyed.

Chiara's eyebrows pulled together in worry, she shook her head, "I'm going," she said with apologetic look.

"Okay, bye," Ludo said annoyed. "Let's go, Gia, or are you going too?" She turned to look at Gia, waiting for her response.

"I'm staying with you," Gia nodded and took Ludo's hand in hers.

"Let's go then," Ludo said, pulling Gia behind her.

"Don't get mad at me!" Chiara yelled after them.

"Then come on!" Ludo exclaimed frustrated.

"It'll be fine, Chia, really. We'll have fun," Gia tried to persuade her, before turning around and following Ludo.

Once the duo approached the entrance, Ludo started manically waving, while Gia tried to not make an eye contact with any of the people who were waiting in line before them.

While Ludo was busy waving at the club owner, she didn't notice Chiara coming up behind them, but Gia did and she turned around and gave the blonde a soft smile.

An older man appeared in the entrance, looking at Ludo, he called to his bouncer to let the girls in.

"This is Gia," Ludo introduced, gesturing to the girl standing right behind her. "And this is Chiara," noticing she didn't leave and was with them, she introduced chiara, gesturing to her.

"Hello," the man greeted.

"He is the cocktail guy," Ludo said, sheepishly smiling.

"Saverio," the man introduced himself.

"Hello," both Chiara and Gia greeted the man, Chiara little nervously and unsurely, while Gia more confidently.

"Come on, I'll let you in," Saverio excitedly exclaimed, turning around, opening the door for the three girls.

The girls walked in, looking around, admiring the very expensive looking house. Not even Gia's house looked this expensive, or was this expensive.

Ludo lead the way, while Gia and Chiara walked behind her, mindlessly following her.

Finally, after what felt like an hour, they've apparently arrived at their location. Saverio stopped in front of them, opening a door for them.

"Have fun, ladies," he told them, grinning at them.

Lights flashing, music blasting and bodies dancing inside. Ludo started jumping into the music, while Gianna grinned and Chiara kept looking around nervously.

Ludo turned to the girls, trying to make them dance with her, "dance with me!" She yelled over the loud music to them, it didn't take long persuading Gia, taking Gia's hands into hers and spinning her in circle.

"Come on, Chiara!" Gia yelled, grinning at her. The girl started to smile too, less nervous than before.

Slowly but surely, she joined in on their dancing, trying to ignore the stares of other people, which did not affect Gia or Ludo whatsoever.

"You wanted to have super powers? All you had to do was come here!" Ludo yelled to the girls, dancing and jumping to the music, enjoying the moment.
