Encounter

A few days later, after series of visits and calls, Kais health soon improved. Aizawa had recommended she stayed home a day more to be certain. She didn't mind that at all. The way for her to recover, although was odd to others. Windows would be open and she had constant trips to the roof. Fresh air was the best way for her to cope.
At first Iida didn't understand that so well. When him ,Midoriya and Uraraka had visited the day before, he may have thought she was trying to kill herself. They had walked in to her apartment, calling her name when they had heard the unlatching of a window. Peeking through the door, the blood drained to their faces as they watched Kai swung her legs out.
"KAI YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR!" Midoriya screamed as he ran with all his strength. He attacked her with a gripping hug, forcing them both to fall back into the room. Unaware of what was going on she scoffed and shook the boy off.
"I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY DEATHS AS CLASS REP!" Iida howled as he grabbed her arm, trying to pull her back in as she tried again. Uraraka aided him in the process, making her float to the ceiling.
The girl struggled, trying to get down. The others refused until she 'poured her feelings put'. Before long, she understood what was going on in the their heads. Thus, she had busted out laughing, making the them quite confused.
"Let me see... If i were to kill myself, i would have chosen the window? Even though my body reacts and my wings come out on their own?" She chuckled, her classmates turning red.
"Oh... right.." Midoriya muttered, scratching his head. Uraraka stumbled with her words then passed out onto the bed.
"Then what were you doing?" Iida cried out, while trying to wake Uraraka.
"I need fresh air and the land lord guy locked up the roof. Aizawa said if i damage anything else here again, he would make me doing 3 hours of training after school for a month."
The boys nodded their heads, surprisingly calm. Kai sighed falling back onto the bed.
"Hey Kai, if you're not too busy falling out of windows, Do you want to go shopping with us for the forest lodge?" Midoriya asked.
The word 'Forest' caught her.
"FOREST?!" She beamed, grabbing his face.
Suprsed by her sudden actions he stumbled out "Y-Yes!" .
She calmly placed the boy down and started to enthusiastically pump her fist in the air.
"Count me in!"

Kai looked into the window of the store. Her reflection looking back at her. The faded overalls hanging off her shoulders with her hair pulled up in a mess. She sighed and pushed open the doors.
Just keep up with it a little while longer...
Heaving her sling bag she was stopped by the crowd of bustling people . Stores of all types lined the never ending hallways. The scent of meat grilling made Kais mouth water.
"Kai-chan!" A familiar voice yelled. She snapped her head back and found the large group walking towards her. Waving at them, she grinned with canines flashing.
"Where should we go first?" Uraraka asked, hopping up to Kai.
I looked over to the others who's eyes were already locked on to stores. Her classmates all to familiar to her now.
Don't let them grow on you
"I think you girls should take Kai shopping for proper shoes. I was informed by Aizawa that she was provided a credit card with the amount of money she was allowed to use." Iida responded, with his eyes glued onto the pamphlet.
"Oh... I was suppose to use it for clothes?" Kai sheepishly chuckled, hiding her hands.
"KAI!" Kirishima scolded.
"I only bought a volleyball so we could play there!" She defended, pulling out the yellow and blue item. Tsu chuckled and patted her shoulder.
"Don't worry we'll help her manage the money. Ribbit" She replied.
"Alright let's get started, I really need to look for a bag..." Yaoyorozu rambled, waving as she split off with Kyouka.
The last left were Kai, Tsu and Uraraka and Midoriya. Groups of students already split off, getting prepared for the trip to come.
"Bug repellent!!!" Uraraka screamed running off.
"Bug? Where?" Kai beamed, glancing back and forth. All she saw was a pale Midoriya staring as she ran.
"Me?Bug?" He grimaced.
Kai walked up to him, shaking her head.
"Naw, you're way to small to be even considered a bug" She laughed slapping his back.
Midoriya sighed and gave a sheepish smile.
"But Kai-chan, aren't i taller than you?" He asked.
Her face dropped at the comment. Slowly nodding her head, she hanged her head down and walked towards Tsu.
"Kai, let's go after Uraraka, that was really odd of her. Ribbit." Tsu mentioned, frantically turning her head. Kai nodded, pulling her into the direction of where she ran.
"Wow i wonder what got her so worked up." Kai mentioned as they walked.
"Ribbit, yeah she was a little weird after the exams. We should ask her when we find her" Tsu replied back.
"What? Don't you think we should let her figure on her own?" Kai said anxiously.
"Uraraka will tell us. We're all friends after all." Tsu answered, walking into a clothing store.
Kai followed her actions, noticing the tired out brunette on the bench.
"But don't you trust Uraraka to handle things on her own? I mean remember that fight between her and Bakugou? It was epic!" Kai beamed, swing her bag.
Tsu stopped and turned to face the girl. Her expression was serious, making Kai un-easy, as if she should be taking a fighting stance.
"I do trust her, but part of being a friend is always offering help. Even when that person is the strongest one you know. Everyone has their limits." She earnestly said.
"Huh..." Kai said rubbing her chin. Tsu grinned at her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"A true friend sticks like family. That's what our class is like. We look out for each other. We're all in this hero business." She finished.
Kai paused at her response. The word family wasn't too familiar. Even growing up under Shigarakis care, it wasn't comforting. She was only close to-
Hero Business... Of course it has something to do with her business.
The thought occurred to her. That same word ringing her head. She glanced over to Tsu who had left her to think and was striding over to Uraraka.
"Of course" She smirked, clicking her tongue. "It's just apart of business."
She watched the two converse, wondering if she'd ever feel the same. To trust someone so easily.
What a joke... She chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Tsu asked, catching Kai off guard. She widened her eyes and waved her hands.
"Oh i'm just remembering the look on Midoriyas face as Uraraka ran away from him, that's all." She said defending herself.
Uraraka lifted her head and heavily sighed. Then she grabbed both girls hands and started skipping through the store with a sudden mood change. The color on her face was back and the cheery aura filled the air again.
"Cmon, let's start shopping already!" She beamed, lifting up the items around her.
Tsu simply nodded and followed her actions, examining the products of her choosing. Greens and blacks were a color Kai noticed she appealed to most. Kai huffed, but in the corner of her eye, she saw something worth buying.
A bright blue back pack, perfect for the hiking trip. It was trimmed in dark blue leather, with water proof fabric. And knowing her, she messes up all her nice things.
"Mine Mine...." She growled happily and she treaded towards it. First she juggled the object around, tossing it slightly higher and higher. It was surprisingly light-
"Hey if you're gonna play with that you better buy it!" The salesmen yelled at her.
Kai immediately froze, the woman coming towards her. The bag fell back down on the girl, catching her by surprise. She growled, revealing her sharp canines and claws without even realizing it.The salesmen stopped in their tracks, slowly she backed up and reached for a shoe box.
"Huh?" Kai said, cocking her head to the side. The shivering woman, pointing towards Kai with the box. The girl turned around, wondering if something was behind her.
Suddenly something had hit the back of her head. Turning back, the shoe box was laying in the ground beside her, the woman already running off. Kai clicked her tongue, picking up the bag.
"I barely growled. what a wuss." She chuckled, striding back to tell the girls of her find.
"I'm getting sushi with this money too hehe.." Smirking at the thought, the girl waved at Tsu but only to catch herself staring at the door. Uraraka was gone. Something wasn't right. Slowly she walked towards the doors, fiddling with her fingers.
She stopped in her tracks. Her nose twitching at the familiar scent. The chills going through her body. In the corner of her eye, Uraraka stood in the distance, frozen in fear. The air became dense. Turning her head, it became clear who it was.
Midoriya... I thought he was with the others.
And he wasn't alone.
"Shigiraki.." Kai growled under her breath.
Quickly she pounced, throwing off the backpack and jumping out of the door. She ignored Tsus call and headed for their direction. Her body filled with rage. Her vision becoming blurry as she neared them. Shoving the people out of her way she found herself getting closer .
Closer she got, the cloudier her vision. Her breath became uneven. She could feel the blood rising to her ears.
Why... Why out of all the time i've been here you decide to come now! Why didn't you take me back at the dome! My mission my mission!!Why Why Why-
"Tch" The voice said, 4 fingers on her forehead. Gently he pushed away the stray hairs, the girl getting angrier by the second. Without realizing it, he already had her trapped.
"Look at you Arde! Don't you look so cool trying to come protect your friends! But yet here i am, a finger away from killing him" He laughed, tapping his fingers on his neck.
"Kai... Please go.." He whispered, his eyes pleading.
"Shigiraki, you don't need to be here." Kai growled, glancing at the people around her. A crowd started to gather, their eyes glued to the scene.
"Oh but i just miss my Arde! But this boy here has been making me... itch." He chucked darkly. Kais eyes widened at the word. Itching for Shigaraki was never a good sign.
Kai glanced over to Uraraka who stayed at a safe distance. Her eyes were glossy. She looks ready to jump in, but she's hesitant.
"You've got some nerve picking on students. I thought you had some more honor than that." Kai spat back.
His face fell into a sarcastic frown. Letting go of the boy he turned to face her . With his arm coming down, he gripped her shoulder. Tighter he gripped, soon she felt it disintegrating. By that she meant the burning pain of her skin peeling off at an alarming rate.
The pain made her bite her lip. Making any noise or showing weakness would panic the others. The copper taste of blood started to reach her mouth. Shigaraki smiled as he saw some drip down her chin.
"Well i should be going now." Shigaraki laughed evilly, releasing his grip on the girl.
Growling as the man turned, she stumbled to her knees. Uraraka and Midoriya rushed over, trying to stop the flow of blood from her shoulder.
"But you should focus on taking care of yourself boy .." He said back as he walked further away. "Because next we meet, it'll be because i decided to kill you" He finished, disappearing into the crowd.
And I won't be ready for that Kai thought, holding on to her shoulder.
