Chapter Fourteen

03:08, 14 July 2025

"What are you up to tonight?" Sasuke asked Sakura while she walked past his desk to take her normal seat in first period. "The girls and I are going to a party, how about you?" "Nothing really, want to hang out afterwards?" He asked her, "Yeah of course, I'll text you." She said with a smile, making him wink at her before turning around in his seat. Kakashi began his lecture, and they all intently listened.

Naruto sighed before laying his head against the desk, while trying to stay focused on what his teacher was saying. As a yawn left his mouth, Kakashi noticed, "Some of you may find this theory just a little uninteresting and boring. Right, Mr. Uzumaki?"

He nodded in agreement, "I can assure all of you that this same theory applies to all of your lives." "How so?" Naruto teased, while leaning back in his seat. Sakura glanced at him while telling him to shut up, and Hinata face palmed. Kakashi just smirked while leaning against his desk. "Like I taught before, there are four theories of personality: Psychoanalytical, Dispositional perspective, Humanistic, and Social cognition."

He started, while everyone waited for what followed. "If you continue to be driven by purely social cognitive pressures, such as trying to impress your girlfriend by fighting guys that are twice your size, you're going to eventually burn out." The entire class snickered, while Hinata blushed from the second hand embarrassment. "I could never burn out." Their instructor snickered, "I sure hope so. Now back to my lesson."

Eventually the bell rang, and the students rushed out of their classrooms. "Well that was just embarrassing." Ino said to Hinata as she stood by Ino's locker. "It was, how does Kakashi even know?" She shrugged, "He knows everything, Hinata."

"You're right. He still didn't have to be such an ass about it though, Naruto won't burn out."  Ino shrugged, "I don't think so either, he's very driven. Whether or not it's by the right thing is the real question." Hinata nodded while looking at him from down the hall. She watched him smile at one of his friends from class, "I don't think him wanting to impress my father is a bad thing, besides it's not like I want him to, you know?"

"I don't think it's a bad thing either, as long as he knows he's not becoming your fathers mule in order to gain your trust or something." Hinata rolled her eyes, "Well that's dumb, he already has my trust."

"Does he now?" Ino asked rhetorically, "Anyways, Neji is DD for us tonight, meet at my place at nine?" She nodded, "Sounds good. I'm gonna get sloshed." Hinata laughed, "I'm honestly just going because I have to." Ino laughed, "You should at least try and have some fun, Gaara wants you there."

She shrugged her shoulders, "I hope he's over whatever crush he had on me." Just as she said that, an arm was draped around her shoulder. "Me too, your boyfriends a boxer." He said while kissing her forehead. Ino rolled her eyes, "Gaara could take you." "Could he?" He asked his girlfriend, "Of course not, Naruto. You're the best." A smile came to his lips, as Ino rolled her eyes. "Oh shut up." ~ "Stay safe tonight, text me if you need anything." Naruto smiled and kissed Hinata's lips. "I should be telling you that." Her hands stayed against his cheeks, as she looked into his blue eyes. "You know you don't have to do this for me, right? I-I like you a lot, Naruto. What my father thinks of you doesn't affect that." Although she said that, they both knew that wasn't true. Hinata trusted her father with her life, and although she sometimes questioned it, she knew that he was always right.

Which was another factor that made it hard to believe Naruto when he said he no longer had any gang affiliation. "I know I don't have to do this for you, for us, but I want to. Besides, it's nothing dangerous at all, he just wants me there to eavesdrop on some conversations, and bust a few tables." "Are you sure that's all?" She asked, "Yes." "Okay." He smiled before kissing her again, "I love you, Princess. Have fun tonight."

Leaving her car, he went to his that was parked a few feet away, before speeding out of the parking lot like he normally did. He had to get to the cleaners before they closed to get his uniform for tonight. The words Kakashi spoke stuck with him, although he acted as if he wasn't affected. It almost scared him to know that he was right. He knew that if he continued to try and please Hiashi, to gain his daughters trust, he would eventually burn out.

A part of him just wanted to be honest with her, but he wasn't sure how she would react. It could either go really good, or really bad, and if he knew Hinata the way he claimed to, he would know that she would freak out. Turning the dial up on his stereo, he drowned his thoughts with the loud music.

"Do you really have to go?" Sasuke complained to Sakura as he stood in front of her car. "I do, Sasuke. We can hang out tomorrow night." "I can't tomorrow night, I have some business." She nodded while wrapping her arms around his shoulders, "How about brunch?" He smiled a little, "Brunch? Isn't that for like old ladies?"

Her cute laugh left her chapstick coated lips, "Hey! I like brunch." He shrugged while laughing, "Okay! We can do brunch." "I'll pick you up tomorrow morning." He said, making her nod in understanding, before he cupped her chin and kissed her lips.

They both closed their eyelids and enjoyed the sweet kiss, while across the parking lot in a parked car sat Karin, watching them. She rolled her eyes at them, while thinking of how much of a better kisser she was than Sakura. Looking at her reflection through her mirror, she applied her favorite lipgloss, and threw on her designer sunglasses. Speeding past them, and out of the parking lot, she thought about what she would be wearing to the party she was attending tonight.

An hour later, Sasuke walked into the boxing gym to see Konohamaru hunched over in front of the punching bag. The gym was empty, and he was confused as to how he got into the place considering he was the only other person with a spare set of keys. With his bag on his shoulder, he approached the kid.

"What are you doing here?" With his hoodie low, he spoke while trying to stand up, "I-I wanted some more sessions, and Naruto was busy so I broke in."

Noticing how he couldn't stand up without wincing, Sasuke asked him, "Are you okay?" When he finally looked up at him, Sasuke noticed the swelling to his right eye. "Come." He said before grabbing the kid by his arm, carrying him to the ring, where he sat down.

"Are you bleeding anywhere?" Konohamaru shook his head, "N-no." "Where does it hurt?" Lifting his shirt, he saw the bruising to his rib cage. Sasuke shook his head, "Those are bad.""No it's really not." He said making Sasuke apply pressure on them with his hand, "Stop!"

"I'm gonna get you some ice and pain meds, don't move." Doing as he said, Konohamaru laid against the floor of the ring, trying to think of what he would say when Sasuke asked where he got the bruises from. When he returned with the supplies, Konohamaru allowed him to help him.

Strangely he didn't ask where he had gotten them from, and it slightly annoyed him because he had come up with a solid story. "Should I be fine in time for my date tomorrow?" He asked Sasuke, "Depends, what are you doing?" Sasuke asked while cleaning the small cut to his face. It looked like he had been hit by someone wearing a ring, "Just a bonfire."

"You should be fine, but your cheek will probably still be swollen, and you could always cover up your eye with makeup." He sighed while muttering, "Great."

"I know Naruto boxes with bruises and shit all the time, but you can't do everything he does. He's trained for longer than you have and his body can take more than yours can. When you get hurt, stop and sit down somewhere, okay?" He spoke to the kid while looking him in his eyes. Konohamaru swallowed before nodding, "Yes, Sir."

"Do you need a ride home?" "Yes please." "Come on." He said before taking his arm and wrapping it around his shoulders, so that he could walk without so much pain. In twenty minutes Sasuke was in front of his home. "Ice your ribs for twenty minutes the next three days, and no boxing, alright?" He nodded, "Okay."

Noticing how his hand shook anxiously as he reached for the door handle, Sasuke asked him, "Is something wrong?" "N-no, I'm fine." He stuttered as he saw the window curtain move from his Step-Father's office. "Are your parents home?" "Yes."

"Are you afraid of them?" He asked, noticing how his father looked at them the entire time. "What? Of course not! I'll see you later, thanks again, Sasuke." He said dismissively before getting out of the car and walking toward his home. Sasuke waited for him to get into his home, and wave goodbye before he drove to his own home. Although he had a bad feeling, he knew it wasn't his place. ~  "Happy birthday, Gaara." Hinata and her friends said to the guy as they walked into his home. He smiled at them while taking the wrapped gift from their hands and saying, "Thanks, I'm glad you all could come.""Of course, Gaara." Sakura said with a smile, "How have you all been?"

"Good, just living life, you know?" He smiled at her, "Oh I know. I'm glad you're doing better, I'm sorry about your father, by the way." She smiled slightly before jokingly saying, "And there's my cue to drink." Grabbing Ino and TenTen's hands, she dragged them off to find refreshments. He looked to Hinata and asked, "Did I say something?"

"No, she just avoids talking about him at all cost." He nodded, "I get that. So how have you been? Who's this Naruto kid I hear about?" She smiled, "You keep tabs on me now?"

He winked at her, "Always." A blush came to her cheeks and she answered him, "He's my boyfriend." He nodded, "Is he a better guy than Toneri?" She nodded, "A lot better. He's perfect."

He smiled, "That's good, I'm happy for you." He said making her smile, "Thank you, Gaara. How about you? You ever meet a nice girl?"

"And that is my cue to drink." She laughed while shaking her head,"Come, take a shot with me." He said while extending his hand, she took it before they were off to the table full of alcohol.

At poker night, Naruto stood behind the bar, cleaning the glasses with a clean rag, while acting as if he wasn't paying attention to the five men conversing and enjoying their poker match a few feet away. He could hear Hiashi's laugh followed by, "Nice move." Naruto noticed everyone else laugh while sipping their scotch, and puffing their cigars.

As his eyes watched them, he wondered what Hiashi was so worried about, they all seemed to be good friends. Setting the glass down against the counter, he approached the table with a bottle of scotch. "Your bottle of scotch, Mr. Hyuga."

Placing it on the table, "Thank you, Naruto." "Naruto, huh? You're that new boxer everyone is talking about." A man that walked with a cane said while puffing the cigar smoke from his lungs. "The Red Fox." Another man stated, making Naruto nod. "I hear that you're good." The first man said, "Oh he is." Hiashi confirmed, "When's your next fight? We'll be there." The second man said, while the first one got up and excused himself. "Next Friday, Sir."

The man looked to him and nodded, "I hope you don't disappoint." "Never." The man chuckled, "For your sake, I hope not." Hiashi interrupted them, "I'll make sure to reserve you all tickets, the venue is always sold out for people coming to see, "The Red Fox." He bragged, making Naruto glance at him while laughing awkwardly, "I'd bet."

Exiting the conversation, as they began to discuss boring business, Naruto decided to take out the trash behind the establishment. When he walked out, he heard the older man from earlier talking on his phone. Naruto quickly moved to the side of the trashcan to hide, and eavesdrop on the conversation. "I'm telling you, we have to do something before he gets too powerful.

That Uzumaki kid is with Danzo, and if him and Hiashi pair up, we're done for." The man spoke while looking up at the night sky, and puffing his cigar. "I say we start with the original plan like before. The only way he'll take us seriously is if we threaten those closest to him, one of his daughters."

When he said that, Naruto knew exactly what he meant, and the thought of someone hurting Hinata, or Hanabi pissed him off. Before he blew his cover, he tried to stay as quiet as possible as the man continued his conversation. "Why wait? I say we start tonight, especially if we're all here. He won't see it coming." When he said that, Naruto steadily went back inside, to inform his boss for the night that he had to leave.

Back at Gaara'a party, Hinata and Sakura watched as Ino and TenTen danced together on a table top. She had been unintentionally monitoring how much Sakura was drinking, because after Gaara mentioned her father she knew that she wasn't okay.

"You okay?" Hinata asked her friend after she watched her chug the large bottle in her hand. "Fucking great." Sakura responded, before bringing it back to her lips.

Though she didn't seem to be drunk just yet, Hinata took the bottle from her grasp and said, "Slow down." Her friend just sighed before they heard, "Well you two look amazing." Karin said as she now stood in front of them.

"Thanks." They said awkwardly, wondering how she even got an invite to the party. Karin smiled at them, as she smiled to the person walking toward the three of them.

Hinata glanced over her shoulder to see who it was, and she automatically nudged her friend. "What is it?" Sakura asked while turning to look too, only for Karin to say, "I knew you two would know my friend Sasori."

"Why is he here?" Hinata asked her, while Sakura shrugged with a bright smile on her face, before rushing over to him. "Oh you didn't hear from Naruto?"

Hinata's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, at the mere mention of his name. "Hear what?" She shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, "If you haven't already heard then I probably shouldn't talk about it. I just know that he has some business with Sasuke and Naruto." Hinata nodded, "Hm."

"Yeah, Saskue told me about it." Before long, Hinata had to give Sasori a fake smile followed by a side hug. "Hey, Sasori."

"Hey, Hinata. I was just telling Sakura about college, and how you both are gonna love the parties." Hinata nodded while trying to stop herself from rolling her eyes.

"I'll bet. How do you two know each other anyway?" She asked Karin, "He's really just a friend of Jugo's." Sasori nodded in agreement while looking at the girl, "Ah okay."

"Fun. Do you want to get a drink, Sasori?" Sakura asked with a smile, and he nodded making her grab his hand and lead him to the table full of refreshments.

"So how are you and Naruto?" Hinata just looked at her for a second, "I forgave you for cheating with Toneri, but Karin, what you did to my best friend was horrible, and because of that we're not friends. Nor will we ever be."

As she said that her heart raced, and afterwards she immediately felt that maybe that was too harsh, but before she could apologize she felt someone's hand against her waist. "Hey, Princess."

Across the room, Sakura smiled at her old friend as he couldn't seem to keep his eyes on hers. Usually she'd be annoyed by men who looked at her with such lust, however Sasori was one of the few exceptions. "It's been too long, Sakura." He said making her nod in agreement.

"Definitely." "You look good, you seem happier.""I am." He looked into her eyes while smiling, "So is anyone occupying your time these days?"

Her mind instantly drifted to Sasuke, and Sasori noticed her blush while she said,"Not really, how about you?""About the same." He spoke before sitting his cup down and grabbing her hand, "Let's get out of here and have some real fun?"

Just as he asked that, Hinata and Naruto approached them. "I'm about to head out, Sakura. You're welcome to join us, or you could just wait for Neji." Sakura nodded, "I'll just wait for Neji, why are you leaving so soon? Did you come to steal her away, Naruto?"

Sakura teased her friend with a smile on her face, and Sasori's arms wrapped around her waist, "Yeah, I missed her too much." He said while kissing her cheek, making her laugh. As he looked at his friend, he couldn't shake the feeling that her talking to Sasori was a bad idea.

"Can I talk to you before I leave? She'll be right back, Sasori." Hinata said while grabbing her friends hand, and dragging her off to a vacant bathroom down the hallway. "Yes, Hinata?" Sakura said while sighing, ready to hear her friend scold her for hanging out with Sasori.

To her dismay, Hinata wrapped her arms around her, and hugged her tightly. She was surprised at first, so she laughed a little, but Hinata shushed her when she said,"I just thought you might need a hug."

When she said that, Sakura hugged her back while sighing deeply. The moment of silence forced her to really process her thoughts, and before she knew it tears were falling from her Emerald eyes.

Hinata didn't notice until she felt a tear on her bare shoulder, and she instantly held her closer. "I love you, and we all want the best for you." Hinata spoke softly while running her fingers through her friends soft hair, "I know it's been hard, but you are so strong. It's never easy to lose a parent, especially not now, but I know that he'd be proud of how far you've come, Sakura." Sakura tried to believe her friend as she told her what she needed to hear, but she couldn't.

The only thing running through her mind was the substance that could make all her sadness go away, and the man who definitely had it. "Will you be okay tonight?" Hinata asked Sakura as she pulled away from their hug. She nodded with a small smile on her lips, "Yeah, I'll be fine. I'll probably just have Sasori take me home in an hour or so."

"Okay, call me if you need anything. Make good decisions tonight. I love you." Sakura nodded before kissing her friends cheek, "I love you too, and I will." ~  "It's just the two of us tonight?" Sasuke asked Hidan as he sat in the passenger side of his car. "Yeah, Sasori had some party to go to." Sasuke nodded, "Well do you have the address?" Hidan nodded, "What's the plan anyway? We can't just go there." "Well obviously."

"Then what's the plan, Smartass?" He asked again, and Sasuke just shrugged. "I will think of something on the way there." Hidan rolled his eyes, and before Sasuke could begin his journey on the three hour drive away, his phone rang. Picking it up, he expected to see an image of Sakura sleeping, but instead he recognized Karin's number.

Initially he wasn't going to answer, but as he let it ring, Hidan looked at him with an annoyed expression. "Are you going to answer it?"

"No." Grabbing his phone, he answered it on the last ring, "This is Sasuke's phone." Sasuke snatched his phone away, just as she gave her reasoning for calling him.

"Hey! I need a huge favor." "What's up? I'm kind of busy." "Really? I'm sorry! I just need a ride home from this party, my friend left with Sakura."

"Who's your friend?" He asked while his eyebrows scrunched in confusion, "Sasori."  He sighed deeply, and contemplated why Sakura would do something so stupid.

Sasori was obviously a horrible guy, and truthfully he didn't want to go pick Karin up, but he couldn't leave her stranded at a party. "Text me the address, I'll be there." "Thank you, Sasuke!" He hung up before saying to Hidan, "We're gonna have to do this another night."

Hidan scrunched his eyebrows in irritation, "Seriously? Was that Sakura?" He rolled his eyes at just the sound of her name, "I'm dropping you off." "Hm, well I hope Sasori is having fun some fun tonight." As Hidan thought about his friend, Sakura was giggling while her and Sasori walked into his apartment.

The both of them were in euphoria from the substance that Sasori had in his pocket. "Sasori?" She asked while stumbling into his bedroom, "Sakura?" When she fell against his plaid sheets, she smelt the faint smell of his cologne. "You're so cool." She said while sitting up in the bed, and watching him drink water after popping a blue pill into his mouth.

"How cool?" He asked while walking toward her, "Like so cool." She said with a bright smile as his hands cupped her face into his hands.

"I haven't felt this good in forever." Sakura said while Sasori's hands made her get goosebumps from his light caress. His fingers moved to her lips, and traced the bottom one, "You're so beautiful, Sakura."

A blush came to her face when he said that, "T-thank you." She spoke while feeling a faint pulsing between her thighs. Leaning down, Sasori kissed her passionately, and wasted no time as he gently bit her lip before circling his tongue around her mouth.

Sakura's hand's started to unbuckle his belt, while his unbuttoned her jeans. He noticed her struggle with it, and he unbuttoned them himself. They both knew that she was too high to function, but neither one of them cared as they continued to behave recklessly.

Sasori pulled away to pull his shirt off his body, and Sakura bit her bottom lip. Pulling off her crop top, alongside her ripped jeans, she watched the way he looked at her, and it made her nervous, although she kind of liked it. "Should we do this?" She asked him while feeling her eyelids get heavy, from the unconsciousness that threatened to take over, "We should." Though she felt like she shouldn't of been doing this, when his hands cupped her face, her rationality went out the window. With her hand against his chest, she looked into his dilated pupils and spoke softly, "Tell me you love me." Sasori flashed her his boyish smile while cupping the back of her smooth thighs in his hands.

"I love you, Sakura." He pulled her body closer to his waist, and she let out a cute yelp. Her blush stayed apparent on her face, before Sasori seductively bit his bottom lip. With her back against his duvet, her eyelids unintentionally covered her emerald eyes, as she faded in and out of consciousness.

With her body numb, she hardly felt the stimulation that Sasori was giving her, after he had pulled off her panties. A gasp left her lips, as her eyelids opened due to the feeling of his tongue. Flicking her sensitive pearl at various speeds, she moaned loudly throughout the dark apartment, "Oh my God."

Her body was relaxed from the medication, but the intense pulsing of her core made her run her fingers through her hair, as she felt an intense orgasm approaching. Once his fingers massaged the inner walls of her soaking core, she unraveled and gripped the sheets as her head fell back. Seeing stars on the dark ceiling, she moaned his name while breathing heavily from the intense orgasm.

She heard his pants hit the wooden floor, and continued to be distracted by the imaginary objects on his ceiling, until she felt his hands unhook her bra. Before she knew it, Sasori was pulling her on top of him while leaving hickies on her neck.

She could hardly hold her head up, as his hands sat against her hips, and they restlessly kissed each other. When he stopped kissing her back, she pulled away and could've laughed.

"No way." She said softly, seeing that Sasori had fallen asleep. Though she tried to fight it, she was met with the same effect as her nude body fell against his, and they slept peacefully.-Thank you for reading!
