Chapter 11

21:46, 7 July 2015

The next morning I walked into Jitters. To my surprise I saw Caitlin, Cisco and Barry sitting there. "Hey." I said smiling. "Hi." They mumbled. And I noticed Caitlin was angry. And Cisco stared at me with huge eyes. "I'm going to get another coffee." Caitlin said with a smile. "Why is she trying to hide that she is angry?" I whispered. "You noticed she is angry?" Barry asked. "I know almost everything about her." I said still smiling. "She's angry at you, isn't she?" I asked Barry. "She is." He mumbled, blushing slightly. I sat down between him and Cisco. "Why are you so happy?" Caitlin asked after she got back. I shrugged my shoulders. "It almost seems like something special happened." She said raising an eyebrow. It was like she knew what happened last night. If I would have drank something right now, I would have choked on it. Now I came away with burning cheeks and an awkward cough. "Nothing happened." I said. She didn't seem convinced. It was like she was looking right trough me. "Okay, maybe something happened." I said looking at my hands. "What happened?" She asked. "That isn't your business." I said irritated. "Mood swings." I heard Barry mutter. "Shut up." I snapped. He looked like I annoyed him. "Don't tell me what to do." He snapped back. "Say something about me one more time, and I'll make your life a hell." I promised him and stood up.

I parked my car in front of S.T.A.R. Labs, the last time I was here was years ago. I pressed on some kind of doorbell. "Hello?" I heard Cisco say over a speaker. "It's me, Audrey. Can you open the door?" I said. "Yeah." He said nervously. I heard a buzzer, and walked trough the door. The building was the same as before the explosion. And it didn't surprise me that they were in the same room they used to work. Or at least Cisco and Barry were there. "Where is Caitlin?" I asked. "She'll be here any minute." Cisco slowly said. I noticed Barry glancing at me. "Something wrong, Allen?" I asked. He didn't respond and I smiled because to me, that meant I won. "Audrey?" I heard someone say behind me. I felt my hands shaking. "Ronnie?" I whispered, slowly turning around. There he stood, my brother."Audrey." He smiled and I ran in his arms. "I'm sorry, he heard her and I couldn't stop him." I vaguely heard Caitlin said. "Ronnie." I murmured against his chest. "I'm here, little Audreynator." He whispered. That moment, hearing him say his childhood nickname for me, the realization hit me and tears started rolling down my face. "Ronnie." Was al I could say. Over and over again. "I'm here." He repeated.

"Guys?" Cisco awkwardly said. "You guys are standing like that for already half an hour." He let us know. Ronnie picked us up and sat down with me on his lap. He kept stroking my hair. "If they weren't siblings, I would have thought they were a clingy couple." I heard Barry mutter. It was so soft I almost didn't hear it. "Jealous? Barry Allen?" I asked. Again he didn't answer. 2-0 for Audrey.

"Please don't leave me ever again." I mumbled to Ronnie's chest. I felt him tense up. "Audrey. Tomorrow I'm leaving." He softly said. "What? Why?" I asked with a dry voice. "You saw what happened, I need to control it. I can't risk it. What if I hurt you? Or Caitlin?" He said with a shaking voice. "Just promise me to come back." I said, a single tear rolling down my face. "I'll never leave you, Audrey."
