I ran to my first period and sat down in the very back seat. I looked up at the teacher, who was surprisingly very young. She almost looked my age.

"Alright class. Welcome to your first day of senior year! I'm miss O'Connel, and I'll be your science teacher for the year!" As she spoke to the crowd of people I got lost in her eyes.
