12:50, 4 June 2022Beomgyu walked around the shops happily, Yeonjun trailing behind him. He then felt the older grab his wrist and stop him and turned him around.
"What"?
"Your parents aren't here so how about... you dye your hair? I know a colour that would suit you very well", Yeonjun spoke.
"I-I don't know... They would notice when they return", Beomgyu whispered, looking down. Yeonjun sighed and lifted his head up to his.
"Listen. Fuck them. They don't control you. Be free and do whatever you want". Beomgyu smiled at his words. He never really thought about doing what he wanted, living with his parents rules for years.
"Your right. I'm my own person. They won't control me. So... Wanna dye my hair"? Yeonjun smiled and pulled him into a hair salon nearby. Beomgyu began to feel nervous, wondering if he made the right choice but he stayed quiet and Yeonjun spoke with the hair dresser.
"W-what colour exactly did you have in mind"? He asked once Yeonjun turned to him.
"It's a surprise. So you won't know until it's done, ok? I'll just be over here".
"For a druggie and alcoholic, you really do care about people".
"That's cause I know what your going through and I wanna change that". Beomgyu smiled as he let himself get dragged deeper into the hair salon and seated away from the mirror. He let the woman do her thing and he hummed softly to himself, seeing Yeonjun waiting in the small waiting area at the front.
After a hour, the woman finished and turned Beomgyu to the mirror. And his eyes widened.
His hair was now a vibrant red and if he was being honest, he really liked it.
"W-woah... I look amazing"... Beomgyu whispered, running a hand through his hair. Yeonjun walked over and smiled.
"Lookin' good. You suit it".
"T-thanks Yeonjun", He spoke, looking up at him. He felt happy around the boy, even if he didn't know him for long. But Yeonjun was a nice guy in his eyes. And Maybe hanging out with Yeonjun would make his life better.
