*PROLOGUE*

We stood side by side watching the Hale house burn to the ground. The screams were endless and my hand had already latched onto to Derek's, taking away as much of his pain as I possibly could. I knew my family had a hand in it, teaming up with hunters for the sake of vendetta.  This was my breaking point. From now on I, Avery Wood am joining the Hale pack...well what's left of it anyways.
