= STANDING WITH THE OTHERS. The group watches as the sun rise while they help one another out of the cold freezing water of San Diego.

Ian and Sarah stands together with Madison soon transforming back into her human self with Ian's jacket once again draping her figure. Followed with some pants she had in her rucksack now by her side with the three cubs and the egg comfortably inside.

Above them, there are now half a dozen helicopters that have found the rex and are hovering over it, shining their spotlights down on it.

"Oh God." Malcolm whispers.

Doors slide open on the sides of the helicopters and riflemen appear, training their weapons on the animal below.

"They're going to kill him..." Madison speaks, her voice breaking to which Malcolm pulls her to his side and comfortably rubs his arm. A frantic Sarah sees the wreckage of the cage that was designed to hold the rex. She runs to it and picks up the tranquilizer gun that Ludlow wrenched free earlier.

The riflemen raise their weapons and train it on the beast below and the rex roars up at the noisy flying machines in anger and desperation.

Sarah raises the tranquilizer rifle, sighting in on the rex's neck as it bellows skyward, a cry of rage and confusion.

Sarah pulls the trigger.

Watching a single tranquilizer dart shooting out of the barrel of the gun in ultra-slow motion was entertaining for Madison.

First, the slender thread of its silver needle appears, then the translucent container that carries the solution itself, and finally, tiny, multi-colored feathers pop up and brace for flight as they emerge from the gun.

Close on two hands, holding each other tightly. They're Malcolm and Sarah's hands, and they're standing at a railing of some kind. Sarah is looking at him, smiling.

"What?" Malcolm looks down at her.

"I was just thinking. After everything you said about John Hammond and his dream..." Sarah trails off, looking back to Madison who held a look of thought. "we're the ones who're going to make it come true, aren't we?" She then looks down at Ezra, Bumble and Renee.

On the open deck is the huge shape of the tranquilized tyrannosaur, covered with a tarp and secured at every possible point with braces and shackles. The canvas rises and falls with the animal's every breath. Next to the adult is the much smaller, but equally sedated and secured form of the baby rex.

Madison knew it was time. She had been counting down the days since the beginning of this act. Since the failure of Jurassic park.

Stepping back, both adults turn to the girl who had a face of thought. Turning to the others where they see her forming a small but warm smile on her face.

"Madison..." Ian knew what she meant, that face was something she always does on the calls when she was going to do something.

"Be nice to Kelly and Alan while I'm gone won't you Malcolm?" Madison asks the man. Voice breaking almost as the sounds around the group seemingly disappears.

"What do you mean Maddy?" Ian whispers, hoping she wasn't thinking what he was.

"After much consideration, I've decided to join SHIELD and protect the existence of these animals." She says, a phone being pulled out of her bag. Small cracks littering it.

"After seeing how much terror my kind brings, I'm going to live on Isla Sorna to raise not only these three but also the egg." Madison continues, watching Ian step forward towards her but she pulls back. Shaking her head.

"You could live with us- we could go live on your farm."

"This something I must do Ian, or I'll never think of myself nothing more than a feeble mutant." Madison responds. Looking down at the ground before she was tackled into a tight hug by Ian. His arms were both around her neck with hers slipping to go around his.

"I can't let you go Madison, that'll be fair and what when Tony or Ala-."

"SHIELD will tell them, Tony knew about my plan for a few months now." Madison pulls away to look up at the tall male who was staring at her in absolute disbelief.

"Why not me?"

"Because I know that you and Alan plus Ellie and Robert will try and stop me." She steps back, hands clasping each other as she breathes heavily. Chuckling softly. "You have things you need to worry more about Ian, Kelly, Sarah." Madison tells him.

"I can still worry about the girl I met seven years ago at the gas station." Ian shakes his head while Madison laughs aloud.

"You remember that? Remember when you saw me get a bottle thrown at my head?"

"Remember it like it was yesterday." He answers with a soft chortle.

"I will return and when I do, we'll meet again and me, you and Alan needs to go to a theme park and hear you both scream." She smiles and Ian rolls his eyes, lightly fist-bumping her arm.

"We sure will, and next take to Isla Sorna, I will retrieve you Madison, Alan I know would do the same."

"I'm sure you would, Sarah." Madison moves to clasp her hands with Sarah's.

"Please take care of Ian and Kelly, I know how Ian is very stubborn but please... you can tell how in love he is with you." Sarah smiles softly and pulls the girl into a hug that was somehow tighter than Ian's.

"Take care of yourself Maddy, I can also tell how much he loves you. Even if it pains me." Sarah whispers into the females ear, feeling her quickly freeze and tense at her words. Kissing the side of her cheek, she crouches to see the three cubs peeking out.

"I love you three you know, take care of Madison... she'll be very alone." Sarah laughs as the cubs repeatedly licks at her hands moving to cup and rub them. That is until they feel something move and hear something crack.

"Madison..." Sarah looks up, standing to her feet slowly while Madison goes to pull out the egg. Watching as it cracks with a small claw climb through.

"It's hatching..." Ian whispers.

"We aren't blind Malcolm, you might be but we aren't." Madison turns to him with a blank look while Sarah laughs loudly.

"He is blind, you're right there Maddy." Sarah grins. Watching the taller male roll his eyes at her behaviour.

Madison helps the tiny creature out of the shell, revealing a small baby Giganotosaurus cooing. Covered in the slime.

"Isn't that a carnivore?" Sarah widens her eyes at recognition while Ian furrows his eyebrows.

"A Giganotosaurus, the biggest carnivore the world has ever seen." She explains to the pair while the creature blinks and stares at Madison who stares down with the three cubs looking over her arm curiously.

"Zion, meaning highest point..." Ian mutters beside the two women that turns at his voice, seeing him watching the tiny hatchling in the girls hands with instant interest.

"I like that, do you Sarah?" Madison turns to the woman, in which she nods and the purple and pink headed female smiled widely. "Zion then it is."

Sarah looks up, immediately noticing her partner gaze off to the slightly shorter female with big baby doe eyes. Although hers was on the animals.

"There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the ship containing not only the adult tyrannosaurus Rex but also the child and as we can see at the front... a woman going by the name as Madison Faye Hammond.

Born from the father many calls Mutagenic, a well established scientist and the mother currently unknown.

Madison goes to join the ranks of these extinct animals, by her side are three Smilodon cubs otherwise known as Sabertooth's and a newly hatched Giganotosaurus."

The voice of a news reporter eases out of the ears of a sitting palaeontologist, his brown hair flopping over the top of his head as he rubs his hand along his face. Eyes blown wide with shock while a SHIELD agent stands over him.

"It is only temporary Dr Grant, this is the woman's choice anyway." The agent tells him, hands clasped in front of herself.

"Temporary my ass, Miss Romanoff." He grumbles, confusion written all over his face while the agent somewhat gives a look of regret.

END OF CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE
