= MADISON AND the group follows the old white headed man wielding the cane. She this time hung nearer to the back, fidgeting with a packet of tater tots she managed to snag from a vending machine. They follow him down the stairs of the front lobby.
"You five will have a spot of the company out in the park, get to spend a little time with our target audience!" Madison glances to her elder in confusion.
"What do you mean, us five?"
"Oh yea, Maddy. You're going to go with them." Smiles John, his words dulling the girl. Glaring at him which the 'rockstar' noticed.
"Is the Dino-girl annoyed?" He sneers with energetic laughter. Madison rolled her eyes.
"No, just simply irritated. Hey- uncle, is it them?" Madison shakes her head and looks down to the ground floor, finding two people sprinting over. She knew who they were and they knew who she was. Alex 'Lex' Murphy and Tim Murphy.
"Grandpa!" They cheer, tackling the poor old man into a hug with excitement. Knocking the man off his feet to which Madison wandered over to help him up.
"Children, be careful with the old man!" Madison tells them. Making the pair turn to them with excitement. That was until they jumped and hugged the girl.
"We missed you!" Lex chirps, pulling away from the tall female.
"We did as well."
"We loved the presents." Tim tells the older Hammond who chuckles. "They were great."
"Did you enjoy the helicopter?" John asks the pair as they continued to walk down the stairs. Madison turns to the others to check if they were alright to see Ellie giving her male companion a short and small smile while he had a grumpy expression.
"Yeah, it went down and we all went right up." Lex tells the old man and mimicked the show with her hands.
John sighs while they exit the front lobby to find two sets of cars driving to a slow stop. "Now, kids, come away."
"Not too close to the cars." Madison reminds the two.
"Aren't they lovely?" John rambles on with chirpiness. "Aren't they glorious, although" he repeats another question.
Madison decided to unconsciously choose the last car, going to the trunk of the car that she flips open to find spare clothes and food plus water and a first aid kit. "These will be your transports for the afternoon." She heard her uncle speak.
"No drivers?" Donald inquires.
"No. No drivers. They're electric. They run on this track in the middle of the roadway here." John explains, having the kids crawl into the first car and looking around.
"Totally non-polluting. Top of the line. Spared no expense." John smiles triumphantly.
"It's an interactive CD-ROM!" Lex gasps dramatically. "You touch the right part of the screen and it talks about whatever you want."
"Lex, you're all right in there." John asks the girl who shouts back a yes then he gestures Ellie follow him, going to turn to Alan.
"come in the second car, Mr Grant." John tells the palaeontologist, Madison ruffles Tim's hair and wanders over. Watching Ian sheepishly moving past Alan.
"I'm gonna ride with Dr. Sattler."
They left Alan to fend for himself with the children. It was obviously he wasn't overly fond of the little humans scattering around him like he was some god or something.
"You don't like kids?" He turns to the purple and pink headed lady, shrugging his shoulders. "Food?"
Taking a small few skittles from the girls packet. He answers. "Not exactly fond of them." Alan responds, watching Tim jump at his feet.
"I read your book!" Tim smiles widely.
"That's great." Alan utters, not mostly interested in what the kid has to say.
Tim follows the man who began walking away. "Do you really think dinosaurs turned into birds and that's where they went?"
"A few species may have evolved along those lines. Because they sure don't look like birds to me." Tim continues
"I heard that there was this meteor, hit the earth someplace down in Mexico, and made this big crater." After few words, Madison watches Alan turn on his heels and look down at the young child. She was busy leaning on the car to see what the kid was doing. Both Ellie and Ian were sat in the same car together.
"Listen..." alan gesture for the boys name.
"Tim." Tim eagerly smiles up at the man.
"Tim, which car were you planning on?" Alan repeats his name before asking the kid a quick question.
"Whichever one you are." Tim responds earning an honest groan from the famous Palaeontologist who then walks to the car with the young child following him like a lost duckling.
"Then I heard about this thing in Omni about this meteor making all this heat. It made diamond dust and that changed the weather." Tim continues to waddle on, head turning to find his adoptive aunt making her way over. "Maddy!"
Tim hugs the girl once more as she pats his back. "Timmy, I think it's time to let this grumpy, bucket hat man for his thoughts." Madison tells the boy, crouching down to her nephews height. Watching as he hops into the truck and Alan closes shut the door in the girls face.
"Now, I'm going to hop i-" Alan was about to step away before he was stopped when Alex appears. Madison rolling her eyes as she kisses the top of her nieces head.
"She said I should ride with you 'cause it'd be good for you." Lex turns and points a finger at a woman with shoulder length blonde hair. Alan glance off to the purple and pink headed woman who holds her hands up like she was surrendering.
"I ain't helping this time."
After a few moments, the older people were stacked into one car. The two females in the front and the two males in the back. Madison was taking this time to mess with a strange scratch book she had in her backpack.
"What's in that? If you don't mind me asking." Ellie asks the white-eyed female.
"Different animals I have transformed into, I'm currently editing the page for this dinosaur I call Therizinosaurus that I recently became." Madison explains, pulling a pen out from her pencil case placed on the dashboard to write the stats.
"Can we... see what dinosaur's you've transformed into?" Alan then asks the girl, looming forward while glancing to the outside around Madison. She nods, holding out the book that Ellie takes with two heads in the back peaking through.
They went from page one and so on. Stopping at a page. "You must be a strong mutant my dear." Ian utters, looking to the girl with skepticism. She seemed familiar but he couldn't place his finger on it. Almost like they had met once.
"Look-" Ellie gasps, hitting her male companions arm who looks up and finds the blondie pointing a finger to the giant gate they headed towards.
"Everyone, Welcome to the Jurassic Park Tour."
