ย ย ย ย = IGNORING HER WORDS, Ian moves to eye up the two palaeontologists on the other side. Alan was playing with a strange fossil of a velociraptors claw.
"You like Velociraptors Mr Grant?" Madison asks him with a wide smile, intrigued definitely. He nods.
"He'll never let go of that fossil, ever." Ellie laughs, gesturing to her companion who shrugs his shoulders.
"You must know then, Madison here has an extraordinary gift." The girl blankly stares at John, he always did this. Taking the time out of his day to explain Madison's special abilities. She groans loudly.
"Seriously old man? Bad enough you told Mr Donald Gennaro over here." Madison tells him to which the male laughs out loud.
"They're sought to know once the park is up and running and everyone will witness you!" John smiles, remembering his young child's dream of one day becoming a hero or educating others with her fascinating abilities.
"I was a child then! I'd probably have more chance at becoming one of those avengers everyone's been talking about." Madison remarks, scratching her forehead while swiftly giving the old man the middle finger with a large sarcastic smile.
"What is he meaning by an extraordinary gift?" Alan asks the girl curiously, just as she gives him a thumbs up.
"I'm a mutant, just like that old soldier, his name was Captain America." Madison responds. Leaning back into her seat as she glances to the window. "I have different strands of DNA samples in my blood so I can mix DNA's together and transform into any animal that DNA belongs to."
"So- you could transform into a velociraptor?" Ellie asks the girl in surprise and Madison smiles while nodding.
"It tears my clothes so I mostly choose not too unless it's important or I have an extra set." She responds and itches her neck with a quick yawn.
"Well then, you two must be palaeontologists correct?" Ian points to Ellie and Alan, the pair nods.
John Hammond gives off an awkward laugh, obviously not too happy about the black headed male's presence. "You'll have to get used to Dr. Malcolm. He suffers from a deplorable excess of personality, especially for a mathematician."
"Chaotician! Chaotician, actually. John doesn't subscribe to chaos, particularly what I had to say about his little science project." Ian shouts in a protest, hands raised up and points directly to the man with the cane.
"Codswallup Ian, you've never been able to sufficiently explain your concerns-" John shakes his head.
"Oh, ho, John, John, because of the behavioural system in phase space?" Inquires Ian, smirking in entertainment.
"A load if I may say so, of fashionable number crunching-" Malcolm grabs Hammond's knee, surprising him, he slaps Malcolm's hand away. "Don't, dont! I do wish you wouldn't do that." The older male scolds the younger one.
"Dr. Sattler, Maddy and Dr. Grant, You've heard of chaos theory?" Ian asks the group, Madison and John looking at the man with a surprised and confused look of her nickname.
"No." Ellie responds with the shake of her head.
"No? Non-linear equations? Strange attractors? Dr. Sattler, I-I refuse to believe that you aren't familiar with the concept of attraction." Malcolm smirks while the others watch Sattler turns away, smiling.
John Hammond releases a strange noise and points a blaming finger at Gennaro beside Madison. "I bring the scientists, you bring a rock star."
"Uh..." donald glances between the two Hammond relatives with an awkward manner.
"John, you wanted two voices and here you have three. So be thankful." Madison hums, narrowing her eyes at the male who rolls his eyes at the females words and glances out the window, smiling frantically.
"There it is!"
The helicopter flies towards the subtropical island and just before they knew it, the helicopter began to lower to the ground. Madison enjoys this moment, grinning widely.
"Bad wind sheers." John comments with a boisterous laughter. "We have to drop pretty fast, so hold on. Cause it can get just a little bumpy-" the helicopter jolts up and down for a minute "Yahoo!" He laughs.
All the passengers buckle up. Gennaro with shaky fingers, Malcolm does it smooth and quickly and unluckily for Grant, Alan somehow ends up grabbing two "female" pieces, which aren't meant to click together.
"Dr. Grant, you need that piece over here, and that piece..." John trails off as he notices the man's situation. "look, we will have landed by the time you get it right! Come along!" He ushers the male.
Alan gets it wrong a couple of times until he settles for tying the two pieces together as a makeshift seat belt. He gives Sattler a smirk, then braces himself for the landing. Malcolm grins, still chewing gum rather loudly. Irritating the female furrowing her eyebrows at his behaviours.
The helicopter continues to descend, soon coming to a stop on the helipad waiting below. John was the first to exit the helicopter, smiling profusely at his creation and while the others exit the vehicle, two jeeps pull up, waiting to take them to their destination.
Madison was supposed to stay with her Uncle when a worker walked over to her. "Mr Hammond said to give you these Ma'am." They tell the purple and pink headed female who then has the set of keys dropping into her palm.
"Seriously uncle?" Madison looks to the white headed man who was already busy jumping into the truck behind the one she was supposed to drive.
"It's time to make some friends Maddy!" John laughter rings out in her ears and she grudgingly trudges over, swinging the drivers door open. If she hadn't caught it, the handle probably was going to snap off and she tosses her loving rucksacks into the truck.
"Are you okay Madison?" Ellie asks the female looking younger than her curiously.
"Yea I'm fine, Uncle just doesn't tell me things like till when it is happening." Madison gives the woman a thumbs up with a toothy smile, waiting for the others to hop in before she switched the engine on.
"Soo... what's with this park anyway?" Alan began the conversation, looking out the windows. It had been a few moments since she began driving.
"Jurassic Park is the name and it is home to them." Madison responds. Nodding her head to a point where she slowly stops and has Alan standing up in the car.
It was a Brachiosaurus wandering across the lands slowly then taking leaves into their mouth. Oblivious to the tiny humans in their presence.
Ellie was busy looking at the map to notice anything until Alan places his hand on the top of her head and turns it around. Making the woman drop the map and slowly stand up while taking her glasses off.
"Th-that's a dinosaur!" Alan cries out loud, hopping out of the car and walk forward out of disbelief and shock. Ellie following along only while Madison hood out and leans against the truck and Ian leaned forward.
"You did it. You crazy son-of-a-bitch, you did it." Madison could hear Ian mutter as she walks to the two palaeontologists with her Uncle joining by her side, a small smile placed onto her features.
"We could tear up the book on cold-bloodedness. It doesn't apply. They're totally wrong. This is a warm-blooded creature." Alan grins excitedly and grips his companions left forearm.
"This thing doesn't live in a swamp." Ellie replies out of her own curiosity.
"This thing's got a... twenty-five? Twenty-seven-foot neck?" Alan goes and asks the pair, John laughs then turns to his child.
"Measured by myself, that one is around thirty feet while a few other lingers between twenty-five and thirty feet." Madison informs them, stuffing her hands into her pockets as the wind blows against her face and hair. She could feel two sets of eyes bore into her head but she ignores it as the girl strutted over to the animal.
"Hey big girl! How are you!?" Madison could be heard shouting by the giant creature from her cupping her hands around her mouth.
The Brachiosaurus leans down and presses their head against the girls chest, recognising the female who smiled and hugs the giant creature.
"Have you been eating well?" Madison asks the animal who simply mewls softly before pulling away and allowing the girl to pat their leg before walking away.
"You have a what?" Alan was holding his hands onto John's shoulders.
"We have a t-Rex!"
With those words, Madison and the others watch as Alan stumbles away with Ellie joining him. "Put your, put your head between your knees and breathe." She tells the man while Madison goes to the car and grabs a paper bag from the first aid kit in the boot, wandering back to the palaeontologist she crouches down next to and then holds it in front of his face.
"Dr. Grant. My dear Dr. Sattler. Welcome to Jurassic Park." John could only believe that his dear adopted child smirking at his deliver of the words she knew he has always wanted to say.
Looking to the side, Grant and Sattler can see a herd of Brachiosaur in the distance now, along with a group of Parasaurolophus, drinking from the lake.
This was Madison Faye Hammonds home.
"They're moving in herds, they do move in herds." Alan speaks to the eldest Hammond "How did you do this?" He then asks the pair.
John peers over his shoulder with an undeniably smirk growing amongst his wrinkled features. "I'll show you."
