I wake up before Alice does. Till today, I cannot understand or explain how we always manage to be in this position every morning. I'm currently seated up on the bed with my arms wrapped around her, her hands on my bare chest. I take this time to think about our game. As far as I'm concerned, neither one of us is winning. Maybe I can use my magic help me.
Everything is still and silent until Alice starts stirring mumbling in her sleep. Her breathing picks up and she grips my forearm. I cock my head to the side. Curious. What is she dreaming about? It takes me a few seconds to realise that she's repeatedly calling someone's name. "Peter," she whispers.
I furrow my eyebrows. Me? She's— She's dreaming about me? Hmm. I can use that to my advantage. Perhaps I'll enter her dreams. Yes, I think I might just do that to alter them. It'll help me win The Game. This should be interesting. "Watch out, Alice," I whisper, caressing her cheek. "You're in for a pleasant surprise." I wave my hand over her and enter her dream...
In the dream Alice is in her rose garden. She sticks out like a sore thumb in her white dress. Like she's a daisy in the middle of the field of red roses. "Hello, Peter," she says, smiling. "Hello, love," I say, walking towards her. "Lovely weather today, do you think?" Alice says, looking up at the heavens.
"Yes," I say, keeping my gaze locked on her. "Lovely." "A perfect day for a—"
I cut her off by cupping her cheek in my hand, causing her breath to hitch. Her eyes widen. "Peter, what are you— "Shh," I interrupt, caressing her cheek. "Just try to relax."

"Just try to relax," Peter whispers, his breath hitting Alice's lips. He runs his hand down her jaw line, slowly and gently, as if she were a china cup and he was afraid that she would break. He slowly tilts her face up and gently presses his lips to her warm ones. A wave of emotions washes over her as their lips make contact. Alice doesn't hesitate to kiss him back.
She feels the butterflies in her stomach go crazy as Peter deepens the kiss. He suddenly pulls away, leaving her completely speechless. He opens his mouth to say something but the words that come out of his mouth don't match what he's trying to say. "Alice! Wake up!"
Alice bolts up and hit something hard. "Ow!" She looks to my left and see Peter, rubbing his forehead. "Why'd you wake me up?" she asks, rubbing her temple. "You were calling out in your sleep," he tells her.
Alice's cheeks turn a shade of crimson. "D-Did you hear what I said?" "No," Peter replies, shaking his head. Alice silently thanks God for that. "I'm gonna change up, I'll meet you in the forest for our training in half an hour," he says, his voice bringing her back to reality.
Alice nods as he pads out the door. She brings her fingertips to her lips, the remnants of what his touch was like lingering. She can't believe that she dreamt that she was kissing Peter. And the worst thing is she liked it. She liked it and she wanted more. It's so addictive. Before Alice could let herself indulge in the idea, a picture of Lewis and Will flashes in her mind, efficiently stopping her dangerous train of thought.
No, Alice scolds herself. No, you can't fall for his tricks. You have to win this Game. She ponders over her dream, knowing that they usually have a meaning behind them. Like when she dreamt that she was being chased by Peter in Neverland. Alice sighs, swinging her feet off the bed as she rakes her hand through her hair.
She makes her way to the dresser and rummages through it, looking for an outfit. Preferably one that's perfect for blending into her surroundings, a dark green tunic, green breeches and knee-high combat boots. "Just what I'm was looking for," Alice says out loud. "Watch out, Peter. You're in for a pleasant surprise."

Alice stops at the seaside to catch her breath. The soothing sounds of the waves crashing and seagulls calling help calm her down. She walks around the shoreline until her breathing gradually slows down. Her eyes are on the horizon, looking at the late afternoon sun in the sky. A gentle breeze hits the waves, causing a few drops of water to splash onto her face.
She takes a deep breath of the ocean air and smiles. The beach is one of her favourite places on the island. The beach and her beautiful rose garden. "It's like you aren't even trying," says a voice behind her. Alice doesn't need to turn around to know that it is Peter. "I'm just taking my time to look for a good hiding place," she says over her shoulder. "And I think I've found one."
"Then why are you here?" he asks. "So you won't know where that spot is," Alice replies. "You have five minutes," he informs her. "Then we'll resume playing "Hide And Seek"." She keeps her eyes on the horizon, not turning around to face him. "Did you have a nice dream?" Peter asks out of nowhere.
"Hmm?" "You were smiling in your sleep," he tells her. Her fingers immediately go to her lips. "I was smiling?" "Yes. What were you dreaming about?" At that moment, Alice is glad that she's not facing him.
"Umm, I dreamt that I was back in England with Lewis and Will," she lies, her voice faltering when she says Lewis's name. The sound of seagulls fills up the silence in between them. "Remember, five minutes," Peter repeats. "No more, no less." "Right," Alice says. "Five minutes."
****
Alice makes it to her hiding place the second five minutes are up. It took her awhile to climb up the tree. The main problem was height. She wanted to be high enough off the ground so Peter would not be able to see her at a first glance, but low enough so that she would be able to jump off the tree branch if needed. Thirteen minutes have passed and there's still no sign of Peter.
Suddenly, the thicket near the foot of the tree starts rustling. Peter. It's definitely— What the heck is that?! Alice thinks, her eyes widening. A flying book?! And it's her signed copy of "The City Of Bones"! What the hell?! Peter emerges from behind a thicket of trees. The book slowly flies towards her spot and stops a the foot of the tree she's on.
"Damn it," Peter curses. "I must've cast the locator spell wrongly."
Wait— Locator spell?! That little shit was cheating the whole time? Oh he's so gonna get it from me later, Alice promises herself. A few more seconds, she thinks. Just a few more seconds until I win this game and be the first Lost Girl to ever win "Hide And Seek".
Five. Four. Three. Two. One—
"Alright, Alice. You win. You can come out now," Peter shouts, his voice echoing throughout the forest. Alice jumps off the tree branch and lands in front of Peter. He jerks back in surprise. "You used a freaking locater spell?!" she exclaims, fuming. "You— You heard that?" he asks. "Did you not hear what I just said?!"
"You've been cheating this whole time and I still managed to beat you," Alice says. "Could you possibly shut up and listen to me?" Peter asks, pinching the bridge of his nose. Alice scoffs. "Make me."
"What happened to cheaters never—" Alice is cut off by Peter pressing his lips on her. He kisses her gently, like how she dreamt he would.
And just like in her dream, she does not hesitate to kiss him back. He suddenly deepens the kiss and wraps one arm around her waist, pulling her towards him. His other hand tangled in her wavy locks.
Alice jumps up and wrap her legs around Peter's waist, tangling her hands in his hair as she does so. Peter pushes her against the tree and closes the space in between their bodies. Alice says his name against his lips, she feels him smirk in return. After awhile, they break apart, gasping for air. Alice rests her head on the tree as Peter leans forward, resting his head on her forehead.
Peter waits until Alice has caught her breath before kissing her again, this time with more vigour and passion. After a few seconds, Alice grows breathless, but Peter refuses to pulls away. She soon feels faint. After what seems to be like a thousand years, he finally pulls back. Alice stares back at him with half-lidded eyes.
Peter catches her in his arms, just before she falls to the ground. He then carries her bridal style and teleports them both to his room. He gently places her on her side of bed and tucks her in. "I told you," Peter whispers huskily. "You're mine and nothing's ever going to change that."

Oml the ending was so stupid xD I apologize if the fluff in this chapter wasn't detailed enough for you guys. I wrote the kissing parts biased on all the kissing scenes from TMI series. In other words, I have no experience whatsoever (in kissing that is)
Just to clarify, I'm not going to write smut for the following reasons... (1) My 12-year-old sister reads this fanfic and I'd rather not scar her for life by writing that (2) I don't feel comfortable writing it (3) This is a PG-13 fanfic (4) I might not write smut but I'll write some chapters that implies smut, it just won't be that detailed
As always I'll end this A/N with one phrase; Feedback is appreciated and valued, so don't hesitate to dm me.
