"So you guys are basically like the male versions of Artemis hunters?" asked Alice. "Who's Artemis?" asked Peter, furrowing his eyebrows. "Never mind." muttered Alice. Peter shook his head and turned to face the Lost Boys. "Boys, introduce yourself."
The two boys seated near Alice stood up. They looked to be around ten or eleven years old. The boy on the left had short, wavy honey blonde hair and dark green eyes. The boy on the right had long, chestnut brown hair and blue eyes.
"I'm Isaac," said the boy on the left. "I'm Asa," said the boy next to him. "We're twins," chorused the two boys.
The boy who was seated beside the twins then stood up. He had curly, raven black hair and piercing sky blue eyes. His lips curled into a smirk as he gave her a once over, and Alice grimaced when his eyes lingered not on her face, but a few inches below. "I'm Andrew," said the boy, winking flirtatiously at her.
She wasn't sure if she wanted to knee him down south or slap the grin off his smug face.
"I'm Dashiell," said a brunette with soft brown eyes. "welcome to Neverland."
"I'm Jonathan," said another boy.
"And you already know Felix," said Peter, gesturing to the cloaked figure holding a mace.
Felix looked up and nodded his head once in greeting.
"He's my head lost boy. He's in charge when I'm not around." explained Peter.
One by one, the boys introduced themselves to Alice. She concluded that the youngest boys were no older than ten or eleven years old -the twins- and that the eldest boys, whom were Peter and Felix, were eighteen.

"Catch." said Peter, tossing Alice an apple. "What's this for?" asked Alice, catching the apple mid-air. "It's just a little game I like to play. I call it target practice." said Peter, smirking as he revealed a wooden crossbow.
"Here, Pan." said Andrew, handing Peter a small bottle of black liquid. "What's that?" asked Alice, peering at the strange liquid. "Dreamshade. It's a nasty poison." answered Peter, blowing at the tip of the arrow. "If you're shooting at the apple then what's the poison for?" asked Alice, suspicion was obvious in her voice.
"Motivation not to miss." replied the brunette, plainly as he pulled the string back into place. "Felix," said Peter, loading the arrow in the crossbow. "Get over 'ere." "Is Felix's aim good?" asked Alice, eyeing the tall boy who was approaching them.
"Doesn't matter," replied Peter, handing Alice the crossbow. "You're the one doing the shooting." "What if I miss and hit him?" asked Alice, raising an eyebrow. She knew that Peter was testing her and she intended on beating him at his own game. "We both know that you won't miss." replied Peter.
"Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!" chanted the Lost Boys, hitting the ground with their spears. The boys continued chanting as Alice slowly raised the crossbow. The chanting eventually died down when Peter held up his hand. Alice took a deep breath, aiming at the apple on Felix's head.
Then, she exhaled, adding pressure on the trigger, releasing the arrow in the process. The arrow pierced right in the middle of the apple, pinning it against the tree behind him. "Well, done. I told you, you wouldn't miss." said Peter. "But I have to say I'm a bit-"
But before Peter could finish his sentence, Alice reached for her belt and pulled out a dagger -from the leather shealth attached to her belt- and threw it directly at his chest. There was a blur of movement as Peter caught the dagger in his right hand, holding it by the hilt.
"Disappointed," finished Peter, smirking as he handed Alice the dagger, holding it by its blade.Oh my Gods, thought Alice, staring at the dagger in his hand. She took the dagger from his hand, not over the fact that Peter had caught the it before it pierced his heart.
Complete silence fell over the Lost Boys as they stared at Alice in awe. She then sheathed the dagger back into her belt and turned to face Peter. "Now can you take me back home?" asked Alice. At that, some of the boys near them started laughing. Peter chuckled, but raised his left hand to silence them.
"You're not getting it," said Peter, slowly approaching Alice. "You are never getting off this island. Ever. You're mine now." "Like I said before, I'm no one's." replied. "Rule number three." muttered Peter, sighing. Alice rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath.
"Are you trying to test my patience?" Alice sighed and bit back a sarcastic remark. "No." "Good." said Peter, turning to walk away. "I will get off this island, Peter." stated Alice confidently, not wanting him to always have the last word at everything.
"We'll see about that," said Peter, chuckling darkly. He glanced back one last time before saying, "You're not getting off anytime soon. So feel free to mingle with the boys, it'll do you good to have some allies here, seeing as this is your new home now."
Alice was about to walk away when she felt something brush past her leg. She looked down and saw a bright, red bouncy ball next to her feet.I wonder where this came from, thought Alice, picking up the shiny red ball. She felt eyes on her and turned around.
A little boy no older than three or four years old stood in front of her. He had strawberry blonde hair and a cute button nose. Small, red freckles were dotted on his face. But what caught Alice's attention was the little boy's eyes. They weren't the same colour. His left eye was a dark brown hue and his right eye had a stormy grey shade.
"Well, hello there, little one." said Alice, smiling as she knelt down to his height. "What's your name?" "Cassie." answered the little boy shyly. "I believe this is yours." said Alice, holding out the toy for the little boy to take. Cassie mumbled a soft thank you, taking the toy from her hands.
Alice smiled at the boy shyness and ruffled his hair. She was about to say something when she heard shouting nearby. She craned her head towards the noise and saw one of the older boys beating up another boy. A group of older lost boys were starting to crowd around them.
"Hey!" shouted Alice, getting up and walking towards them. "Just what do you think you're doing?" The older boy turned around and faced Alice, his 6"1 height easily towering over her. It was Andrew. "Leave him alone." demanded Alice, standing up to the older boy.
"Looks like the runt's got himself a girlfriend lads." taunted the bully, causing his friends to laugh. Andrew laughed then, punched the younger boy in the abdomen. "Stop it!" exclaimed Alice, grabbing the older boy by his shoulder.
Andrew brushed Alice off and punched the other boy one last time, before letting him go, dropping him on the ground in the process. "Next time I won't go so easy on you," threatened Andrew. He glared at Alice then stormed off with his friends.
"Can you stand up?" asked Alice, kneeling down, next to the injured boy. He had a split lip and his cheek was slightly bruised from where Andrew had punched him. Now that Alice was closer to him, she could easily make out his features. He looked about Alice's age. He had short dark brown hair and creamy brown eyes.
"You shouldn't have done that." said the boy, turning his head away from Alice to spit out blood. Alice frowned. "A simple "thank you" would suffice." "My apologies," said the boy, wiping the blood off his mouth with the back of his hand. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." said Alice, smiling. "You know, by helping me, you just made Andrew your enemy, he'll make your life here a living hell whenever Pan isn't around." said the boy, sitting up.
"I couldn't care less. That git doesn't scare me." stated Alice. "Now, are you going to tell me your name, or do I have to guess what it is?" "I'm Ray." said the boy, holding out his hand for Alice to shake. "Alice." she replied, grasping his rough hand in hers and shaking it.
