Chapter 6

Thomas' POV.

I wake up with a yawn, I realize I'm still in a office but who's..? OH WAIT- I look right next to me and see Alexander sleeping peacefully on my shoulder.

Wow- he looks so cute when he sleeps, with his long messy hair and everything. He's so adorable.

Well, I quietly and carefully get up, I lay Alexander down on the couch and then quietly leave his office.

I run to my office, hoping no one tried to see me today. When I get to my office I lock my door and try to fix myself up so I don't look like I just woke up.

I then hear loud knocking on the office door.

"Just a minute!" I yell.

I finish fixing myself up the best I could, then I unlock the door and open it.

"Ah! Mr. Mulligan! Do you need anything?" I say, smiling.

"Yes, I'm here to deliver the suit you order a few weeks ago, for the company ball." Mulligan says, he hands me a box with the suit in it.

I say thank you and good bye. As he leaves I close the office door and open to box to see a beautiful maroon suit.

"Woah." I say to myself, amazed on how beautiful and amazing this suit looks.

The company ball was tonight, it was a big event, everyone in town usually came. Even some people out of town came. Usually George host's it but he's on a vacation so I get to host it this year.

The theme is Amazing Maroon. There is gonna be maroon decor, foods, clothing, everything will be maroon! It's gonna be awesome. Maroon is my style, I will be a pro at this shit.

What I really needed, was a date to this thing. I couldn't go alone, that would make me look bad. Like real bad. The real question.. would I take a man or women? I mean George is gay, everyone still likes him. But if I took a women, I could make Alexander jealous.

Let me just say, I love jealous Alexander.

He gets so angry and everything! I know he will be jealous. He has an obvious crush on me. Well, maybe it's not totally obvious. But I noticed it!

I have ordered all the decorators for the hall today. Everyone had a day off so I could set up, I called James to help me with everything. Just so I could get it perfect. Plus, James is my best friend, this will be fun.

I arrived at the empty office building around 8:00am. The ball started at 5:00, we needed all time we could get. The decorators and James was already there.

"James!" I said quickly running up to him.

"You like how this looks so far? I got here early cause I knew you wouldn't. Sooo I asked them to set it like this."

"I think it's great!" I said, smiling and looking around. "Oh, by the way, I got a date!"

"Hamilton?" James quickly said in response.

"Nooo!" I blushed a little, "Her name is.. Angelica Schuyler."

I saw James look at me in disappointment, "Thomas, she's the girl you met while back, and she asked you out. You said no. Your gonna get the poor girls hopes up, I know what your doing"

"But- jealous Hamilton!" I whined.

James sighed, "If you get smacked by her, I'm laughing and I'm gonna make fun of you."

"She won't slap me. I'll make Alexander jealous. And my plan will work out. You'll see! Plus, it's not like you got a date." I said, rolling my eyes.

He coughed, "Who said I didn't have a date?"

"Uhh.. me!" I huffed.

"I'm bringing someone special. You'll see!" James giggled.

"Lets just get this ready. We both know if we just stand here we will talk for hours and get nothing done." I said.

"Your right. So true, let's get to work." James said, giggling a little more."
