It was finally time for me to meet Seokjin at the coffee shop. Given that the weather has cooled off, I was wearing a pair of Khaki pants with a red turtle neck sweater. On my feet were a pair of red high angle Converse with a black trench coat over my body. My wallet sat in one of my coat pockets as well as my phone and my keys were in my hand. With that, I left the house and hopped into the car.

I arrived at the coffee shop at exactly 6:00 pm. My heart raced faster and faster the closer I got to the door. I entered the warm little building and looked around. My heart skipped a beat when I found the broad shouldered man sitting at a table next to a window.

The man looked up, his face brightening and a genuine smile appearing on his face at the sight of me. If I'm not mistaken, his face flushed a cute shade of pink as well.

I returned the smile (though mine was more forced) and sat across from the man who had hurt me several times before.

"Jiminie! I was afraid you weren't going to show," Seokjin spoke with honesty.

"I almost didn't," I replied coolly. I didn't know what was up his sleeve but I wasn't going to give him this last chance so easily.

"That's alright. I appreciate that you considered coming," he said, his smile never leaving his handsome face.

As I sat and looked at Seokjin, I noticed that he had become more attractive. No more dark circles. No more wrinkles. No more scratchy voice. No more sparkle of lust in his eyes. It was as if he was...a whole new person.

"What have you been up to, Jiminie?" Seokjin asked.

I looked down at the table, answering, "Well, nothing much. Just living life, I guess. Taehyung and I been helping Jungkook with his studies. I've spoken with the other hyungs here and there but besides that, nothing's been happening, really."

A lady then came up to receive our orders. She was an attractive young lady, maybe a year younger than me that I had never seen before. She must've just recently gotten a job here.

She removed herself from our table and Seokjin and I turned back to each other. Before he could speak, I asked, "What have you been doing, hyung? None of us have heard anything from you since...er, for several months."

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about, Jimin," Seokjin said, becoming more serious. He continued and I listened carefully, "I want to thank you for telling me all those things at the pool. You made me realize how foolish I had been for letting my life slip away from me like that. Drinking, smoking, partying, I should never have done those things. So, I have retired from my idiotic way of life. After that night, I went cold turkey and got a job in my father's business. Our plan is for me to take over the business when my old man retires."

"That's great, hyung!" I replied, a non-forceful smile sliding across my face.

The lady came back with our drinks and we thanked her before she walked away again.

"I couldn't have done it without you, Jiminie," Seokjin said in a way that made me feel like I was on cloud nine.

"But that's not all I realized that night, "Seokjin blurted, making me interested to hear his story once again.

"Jimin," he started as he grabbed my hand that made me blush a noticeable shade of pink, "I realized what you really meant to me. Blinded by my desire for the partying life, I had forgotten how I felt about you. I secretly developed a crush for you my senior year of high school but I forgot about it until that night. I don't know how you forget about a crush but those drugs and alcohol can do some weird stuff. Jimin, I like you, a lot and I know you feel the same about me which is the only reason why I can tell you this right now."

We stared at each other for a long time. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. All this time, Seokjin had feelings...for me! I wanted to jump across the table and kiss him right then and there but I was glued to the chair. His large hand enveloped mine, his thumb caressing the back of my hand. His eyes sparkled as they looked into mine but it wasn't lust this time, it was...love. Genuine, honest-to-God love.

"Can I have a ride home? I hailed a taxi here," Seokjin asked, breaking the peace. I nodded and we stood up, took our drinks, and left the cafe.

We climbed inside my car and as I was about to stick the key in the ignition, Seokjin laid a hand on my arm and pushed it down. I turned to him and saw him take a deep breath before asking, "Jimin...would you be my boyfriend?"

A grin slid onto my face and I tried to answer but I couldn't speak so I nodded roughly. He smiled so happily that it made my heart melt. Suddenly, he placed a hand on my neck, leaned in, and pressed his lips against mine. I always wondered how soft his lips would be if I kissed them and they were softer than I imagined. Our lips seemed to move together in perfect harmony as our kiss deepened passionately. His other hand slid up to the other side of my neck and I laid my hands on his chest, enjoying every sweet second.

After what felt like a heavenly eternity. We pulled away and looked into each other's eyes, each pair filled to the brim with love.

"Actually, can I stay the night with you?" he asked. Once again, I nodded.

We got to my place and changed into pajamas. We decided to sit on the couch and watch TV for a while. I flopped down on the couch with Seokjin next to me. His laid an arm around my shoulders and I leaned into his embrace. I guess dreams do come true.
