The morning of the baby shower came and Natasha and Athena were busy decorating the common room. Bright pink balloons and streamers were everywhere it looked beautiful. Food lay out on tables, drinks in coolers, chairs sat up and a large comfortable rocking chair sat in the middle for Pepper. "Ok! Everything's all set, call Wanda and tell her to bring Pepper in." Natasha said and Athena was quickly calling Wanda.

A few minutes later Wanda was leading Pepper off the elevator her eyes blindfolded with a pink bandanna. "Ok..can I take this off?" Pepper asked. "Yes, go ahead." Wanda said. Pepper took her blindfold off and gasped her hands flying to her mouth. "SURPRISE!"  Everyone yelled out together as they popped confetti poppers. "Oh my goodness! Athena! Natasha! This is amazing! You guys did a wonderful job! It's beautiful!" Pepper exclaimed with tears in her eyes. Athena stepped forward handing a tissue to dry her eyes.

"Come here, we have a chair all set for you." Athena said as she lead Pepper to the rocking chair, helping her down into it. "Ok! Gift time!" Natasha said. One by one the women brought up gifts of all sizes and Athena sat by Pepper holding up the larger ones for her to open. Slowly the pile began dwindling down until there were only a few left. "Wow! You all bought so much!" Pepper said with a smile. "This one's from me." Athena said passing up a large gift bag.

Pepper snatched it quickly and began pulling out the cutest sarcastic onesies she's ever seen. "Oh my gosh! These are absolutely adorable!" Pepper squealed. Everyone laughed at her reactions. Natasha's was next. "Oh my gosh! Natasha! Baby's first spy kit!" Pepper squealed happily. "Ok pass the wrapping paper and bags here I'll take the trash out." Shuri said as she began collecting the trash. Athena plated up food for Pepper and got her a bottle of water before sitting down with her own plate and drink.

Meanwhile upstairs Tony and the rest of the men looked on from the balcony. "Pep made out like a bandit with all that baby stuff." Tony said while  everyone else nodded and smiled.
