With the arrival of Carol back to the compound for however long she planned on staying this time, things began to get complicated. Especially between Lucy, Athena and Carol and everyone noticed it. At the current moment Athena was out at the grocery shop with her mom, Pepper, and Wanda. "I swear buying groceries for everyone is getting more and more expensive." Pepper muttered as she put mores stuff into their four carts.

"So do you think Lucy and Carol will kill each other?" Wanda asked. "God I hope not, it's like walking on eggshells around them." Athena muttered. "It's only that way because your current girlfriend met your exe girlfriend who left for outer space." Pepper added. "Don't remind me, mama does it enough." Athena groaned. Natasha did deny it, instead she just smirked and continued walking along. More and more items got put into the carts as the four women made their way around the large warehouse store.

Back inside the compound Carol was talking to Lucy down in the training room. "So you think you'll survive being in a relationship with Athena?" Carol asked as she walked along on the treadmill. "I'm doing just fine so far." Lucy quipped. "Yea, I suppose you are. But has she taken you out on a date yet? Just you and her?" Carol asked with a smirk. "Not yet, but I'm sure she will soon." Lucy said. Carol smirked. "Maybe she will, maybe she won't. She's hard to predict, Athena is. She's too much like her mother then she'll like to admit."

"She's not like Natasha." Lucy snapped. "Oh sweetheart, Athena is very much like her mother. In her skills, her natural talent to  terrify and intimidate someone with a single look, and how she carries herself. However she's different too, in a...well to me it was a good way, but you may not think so. And if you don't I'll be there to pick Athena up again and put her back together." Carol said. "So you still love her huh?" Lucy asked. "I do. But I'm not gonna interfere with you and her, not unless you mess her up and see Athena for who she is on the inside. She'll come running to me when you do...and I'll be here waiting for her." Carol said before she disappeared upstairs again.
