The night before Yelena left for Romania, Tony took it up on himself to throw her a going away party.  Right now Athena was in her room getting dressed. She was debating between black jeans or blue jeans, but decided on black jeans, a red button up, and comfortable black converse, she put her hair up in a ponytail, and some makeup. Once she was ready she fed and watered her dogs and made sure their collars were snug so they could go in and out as they wished tonight. She walked out of her room and upstairs where she came face to face with her mom. "Looking good sweetheart! Tony's invited quite a lot of people so you'll be able to mingle." Natasha said. "That's code for Tony's invited loads of single women for me to flirt with." Athena replied rolling her eyes.

Natasha wrapped her arm around her daughter as they walked to the common room where the party was beginning. The Avengers were dancing around partying with the guests. Natasha walked off to talk to the guests while Athena strolled to the bar where Maria was serving up drinks. "You holding up ok?" Maria asked. "I'm fine. Carol made her decision, and I'm just dealing with it one day at a time." Athena said. "Maybe you'll meet someone tonight." Maria replied. Athena nodded as she took her mixed drink and walked towards the crowd mingling.

It was Natasha that saw it first. A young woman, probably around the age of twenty one or twenty two was staring at Athena who was talking to Valkyrie about who could drink the most. The young woman had short brown hair, blue eyes, a thin, toned body. She had on a black knee length dress and silver high heels showing off her toned tanned legs. Natasha nudged Yelena. "See what I see?" Yelena looked where Natasha was looking and nodded. "Looks like my niece may have herself someone else."

Slowly the woman in the black dress made her way to where Athena stood. "Hello..." Athena turned her head and smiled. "Hey." "I'm Alice." The woman said. "Nice to meet you, I'm Athena." Athena replied. "Oh I know who you are, everyone knows the Black Widow's daughter. I heard you and your girlfriend broke up, I'm sorry to hear that." Alice said. "Yea, I'm getting over it." Athena replied. "Well...how about we get out of here and I help you get over her the rest of the way." Alice murmured almost in purring way.
