Friday night came and Athena had picked out a pair of shorts, tshirt, and sneakers for Carol to wear. They were going out to the carnival today along with the rest of the Avengers, however she and Carol would be on a date. And Athena was really excited to be on a proper date with Carol. "You ready?" Athena asked as she waited outside Carol's door. "I'm coming! Relax." Carol yelled back. "Jesus...you take forever." Athena groaned as Carol came out of her room. "Shut up! Just because you can shower and get ready in five minutes doesn't mean I can." Carol groaned at Athena. "You could if you didn't take too long to do your hair." Athena teased. "Oh yea because putting it in a braid all the time is so practical and nice." Carol said rolling her eyes. "Oh come on, let's go everyone's ready." Athena said. "Yea..yea I'm coming." Carol said.

Once upstairs everyone headed outside to the cars. Carol and Athena got into her jeep along with Wanda, and Natasha. "Why' is your mom with us?" Carol asked. "She's riding with us, her and Wanda." Athena said. "Of course they are.." Carol muttered. "SHOTGUN!" Natasha yelled out as she jumped into the passenger seat. "Dammit." Carol groaned as she got into the backseat. "Sorry." Athena said. "It's fine...your mom's a pain in the ass either way." Carol grumbled. "I am not, you're just too damn slow." Natasha said as Athena drove off to the carnival.

A few minutes everyone arrived at the carnival and climbed out of the cars. "Ok..see you later." Athena said as she took Carol's hand and wandered off to get tickets. "They're cute together." Clint said. "Yea, I just hope Carol doesn't hurt her." Natasha said. "Yea me too." Clint said. Athena and Carol headed off together laughing and talking about something as they headed off to their first ride together.
