"Relax Athena...everyone will love you and your dogs." Natasha said as she and her daughter boarded the private jet. "Are you sure mom? You don't think they'll find me intimidating? I mean I'm twenty one years old, six feet tall, with four college degrees and years of martial arts skills under my belt. Not to mention my other things." Athena said as she settled into a chair next to her mom. Her two black Belgian Malinois lay down next to her on the jets floor. Natasha was looking at her daughter, she couldn't believe that her little girl was now the newest Avenger.

Athena sat there in cargo shorts, red converse, her Nike socks, and one of her old rugby shirts on. Her red hair in a tight braid on her head she lay the seat back, laying back on the pillow, pulling the covers over her preparing herself for the seventeen plus hour flight ahead of her. "Sleep well sweetheart...soon we'll be in Los Angeles." Natasha cooed as she too lay back on the seat beside her daughter.

A few hours later Natasha was waking Athena up so they could eat some food and do something to occupy their minds so they wouldn't be over tired from the jet ride. "Do you think they'll freak out?" Athena asked. "Probably! Knowing the guys they'll all try flirting with you." Natasha said. "Too bad I'm a lesbian!" Athena said smiling. "I know! And I'm glad you are, it just means I don't need to worry about me becoming a grandmother...unless you meet a lady avenger who catches your eye." Natasha said. "Don't worry mom...I'll use condoms. I promise." Athena said smiling.

After eating Athena fed her dogs before sitting back in her seat next to her mom. "You feeling ok sweetheart?" Natasha asked. "Yea..just trying to stay awake so I'll be able to walk to my room when we arrive..in about twelve hours...give or take." Athena said smiling. "I know sweetie...but even if you can't I'll have Steve and Bucky put your stuff in your room and you can bunk with me for the night." Natasha said.

Athena yawned and nodded. "Ok mom...that sounds good..cause I'm really exhausted." "I know sweetheart, go ahead and sleep I'll wake you up when we land in L.A." Natasha said with a smile.
