woke up and immediately started writing and finished in like an hour so here guyz
It was pretty dark outside.Probably around after dusk.
Boxten hummed a simple melody as he tidied up his desk.Small trinkets were sorted and everything was nice and neat. The door knocked suddenly, prompting him to happily get up from his spot and open it.Glisten immediately poured into the room, arms wide.
"Hiii Boxy!~"He chimed, falling into the music box.
"Hey Glisten, what are you doing here?"Boxten chuckled a bit but hugged the mirror back.
"Just stoppin' byyy!!"He chirped again, grinning like an idiot.
They both laid on Boxten's bed, completely forgetting what both of them were doing before.
"Im hungry.."Glisten said, rolling over and glaring at the ceiling like it had food.
"Go get something then."Boxten suggested, putting his arm around the mirror's shoulders.
"Nooo I don't really feel like it though."Glisten grumbled, crossing his arms.
Boxten saw where this was going and he played into it anyways.
"I'll go get you a snack, stay here."He said, swinging his legs of the mattress and walking out the door.
Glisten sighed loudly, left alone in the room.It was quiet and he could only hear the humming of the air conditioner that was old as time itself and sputtered every now and then.
Boxten trotted down the rainbow carpeted hallway, straight to the kitchen.
Sprout heard him walk in and turned around cheerfully.
"Hey Boxten! Whatcha need?"The strawberry chimed, dropping a tray of something. His eyes were somewhat dry.Looked scary.
"Just getting me and someone else a snack, what are you making?"He said, swiveling his head to look at the brownies."Smells good!"
Sprout smiled, taking his oven mitt off.
"Eh just some brownies, you can take some!"Sprout said, handing two paper plates to Boxten.
The music box happily accepted the treat.
The strawberry stared at Boxten for a bit longer, with a blank expression.
"A- are you alright?-"Boxten said, looking behind him and then back at Sprout.
"...Do you garden?"Sprout said, keeping his expression.
"WHAT."

Glisten lied in the bed, sprawled out and fast asleep.
Boxten stared at Glisten holding a plate of cookies now, instead of the original dessert.
"Glisten."He said bluntly, nudging him with the paper plate."Glisten."
Eventually the mirror rubbed his eyes and looked up at Boxten, semi-annoyed to be woken up.The he remembered the treats and almost instantly sat up.
"Aw thank you!"He grabbed the plate and then Boxten's arm, making him lay down next to him.
They both ate the treats together and eventually ended up in silence again.
Boxten stared at the ceiling, thinking about pretty much everything.
Glisten snoozed again, but not before capturing the box in his grasp and cuddling him tightly.
Boxten could hear the small thud of footsteps walking up the hall. He thought nothing of it at the time.
He was too encased in the moment he didn't care about people walking. He never really cared actually.
eventually there was a sharp knock at the door.
Boxten was being held down by Glisten's death grip so he couldn't get up, but he realized if he told them to come in he'd give away him and Glisten's uh.... status..
He silently panicked, not wanting to wake Glisten.
The rapping continued and the box had no choice but to just pretend he wasn't in there.
After a couple of seconds of very silently and slowly breathing, not making a single sound, he heard a sight and the footsteps faded away
The mirror shifted, the change in pressure making Boxten wince a bit as he flopped over his chest.
Glisten's eyes fluttered open, inspecting where he was again. His eyes landed on the box and it seemed as if his pupils doubled in size.
"You're not sleeping?"Glisten said, putting his hand under his chin, that laid on the box's heaving chest.
Boxten stared at the wall and slowly shook his head.
"Just been thinking about stuff, that's all."He responded, finally looking down at the mirror and admiring how beautiful he was in the dark room.
Glisten hummed a short noise and rolled over, no longer on Boxten's chest but really close. He wrapped his arm around the waist of the box and exhaled in relaxation.
"Boxy~ Aren't you tired?"He said, running his free hand up and down the chest of the box, who was a flustered lunatic at the moment.
"Y-Yeah.."Boxten sputtered out the word, trying to ignore the touch.
The silky touch of smooth hands as warm as morning. The touch that drew him crazy everytime he encountered it.He craved it, but couldn't handle when he had it.
The wave of motion managed to eventually lull Boxten to sleep, and Glisten followed soon after.
Astro floated aimlessly again. He inhaled sharply, sensing the pungent energy the two were giving off.
"It's about time."He mumbled, holding out all four hands in front of him.
A small beam flickered in the center of them all and then eventually expanded, filling in the dark space that the moon rested in.
On the outside, Boxten smiled. He was glad to have a good dream.
