Sorry for the short chapters recently, i've been busy and unmotivated :')

eat up you bloodthirsty gremlins, I know how much yall have been waiting for this chapter

Glisten sat in front of his new vanity mirror.He has gotten better at being able to be around mirrors again after Boxten visited, but he stilled felt... angry.

Everytime he saw the imperfect crack under his eye he wanted to destroy whatever said it was there.

He refuses to believe he had even so much as a scratch.He dropped his makeup brush and sighed, resting his face on his hand.

Suddenly, the phone rang.

Glisten scrambled to answer, forgetting about everything in front of him and nearly tripping over the vanity stool.

"Helloooooo?"Glisten said as he sat on his bed, twisting and curling the phone's wire around his finger.(he's so girlypop)

"H-Hey Glisten! I was wondering if you wanted to maybe hang out?? maybe?..."It was Boxten.

Glisten's jaw dropped slightly but he straightened his posture and cleared his throat.

"Of course, Boxy!! I'd love too! S-so where are we gonna meet up?"Glisten laid on his back, in a world of his own with the voice of Boxten on the other line.

After the two had finished talking about where they they meet and at what time, Glisten hung up.

But right after he did he squealed and leaped back to his vanity to finish getting ready.

Boxten, from his room, chuckled and smiled ear to ear.He had basically just secured himself a date with Glisten.(not really but it felt like that to him-)

***TIME SKIP BC I SAID SO AND I DON'T WANNA END THIS CHAPTER SO EARLY***

Boxten knocked hesitantly at Glisten's bedroom door, anticipating what was going to play out.

"Come in! It's open!"Boxten heard Glisten shout from behind the door.

"Glisten? You ready?.."Boxten smiled, opening the door and poking his head in, looking to see Glisten with a large powder brush.

Glisten dabbed the blush on his cheeks a few times, leaving a pink powdery circle in its place."Yup! All ready!!"The mirror shined and stood up, walking through his bedroom's door as Boxten kindly held it wide open for the more confident man.

They took the elevator down together, until they arrived at the surprisingly empty lobby.

"Wow it's barely busy today at all!"Boxten looked around, confused but glad that it was just him and Glisten.

"Vee's gameshow is having some really important event tonight, I skipped it for this."Glisten stepped out of the elevator just in time before it closed on him.

Boxten frowned and turned towards Glisten.

"You didn't have to do that! I would've been okay with rescheduling!"Boxten apologized frantically as Glisten dusted his bow off and chuckled.

"No no! It's fine i'd rather be here anyways, don't get me wrong I would've liked it there but this is ..."Glisten couldn't exactly find the words to finish constructing the sentence.

Boxten grabbed Glisten by the hand, without even thinking, and began leading Glisten to the large tree that grew in the middle of the elevator lobby.

This action took Glisten by surprised but he had to keep his cool, especially now of all times.

"What are we gonna do here?"Glisten asked, curiously but happily.

"Watch the stars!"Boxten pulled a book of constellations out of his head and dropped it, pointing upwards as the two men dropped in the grass and gazed at the black sky.

Glisten flipped through the book's pages until he spotted a familiar pattern.

"Oh look!"Glisten smiled and pointed at a certain spot in the sky and then at the book.

A few hours later, Boxten and Glisten made it to the mirror's room, just as the first slivers of golden morning light came peaking into Gardenview.

"Boxy~"Glisten groaned sleepily, leaning against Boxten's big ass head.

"Yes?"Boxten said, grabbing Glisten's room key, cause he was apparently too tired to unlock the door himself.

"Stay with me tonight~...."Glisten yawned and flopped his arms over Boxten's shoulders, causing him to blush like a madman.

"I- uh!- Well!- ... I- I guess I can?? Just don't get startled when I wake up screaming from nightmares."Boxten successfully unlocked the door and pushed it open, supporting Glisten as they both stumbled into Glisten's bed.

Boxten stayed above the covers, but Glisten had carefully shimmeyed underneath, nuzzling close, but not on, Boxten.

"Boxy?"

"Yes?"

"Can i tell you something..?"

Boxten was confused but curious how, but wanted to continue despite his thoughts.

"Of course."

Glisten smiled and yawned, nuzzling on Boxten's side, causing Boxten's face to turn a deep shade of flustered purple.

"I love you.. like a lot.."Glisten drifted into a relieved sleep, finally getting these words off his chest.

Boxten laid there, shocked and a flustered mess, admiring the mirror's ability to remain so attractive even when asleep.

But then..

Boxten smiled and traced swirly shapes on Glisten's chest, quietly chuckling to himself.

"I love you too.."

Astro sat in the darkness of Glisten's unconscious mind, in the process of conjuring a dream when he heard the thought echo.
