"Huh?" Nani released Sky, his eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and disbelief.

"My love for you will never fade, Nani," Sky reassured him, his voice soft but firm.  A blush crept onto Nani's cheeks.

"You're not... mad?" Nani asked again, still uncertain. Sky shook his head, a warm smile spreading across his face.

"How could I be? Milk told me everything. I understand why you did what you did," Sky said, his smile widening.

(Flashback)

"Now I understand why he did that," Sky murmured, a thoughtful expression on his face.

Milk nodded, patting him on the shoulder. "Yeah, Dew overheard everything too. Don't worry, I'm sure he'll come back to you."

Sky's voice was barely a whisper. "Milk… does that mean he still loves me?"

Milk gave a firm nod.

(End Flashback)

Seeing Nani's flustered reaction, Sky's smile broadened. "So," he said, his eyes twinkling, "whose child is Chingching?" Nani asked.

Sky chuckled, relieved. "She's my cousin's daughter. They asked me to look after her for the day because they have something important to attend to."
