Camila's POV

As I get out of my car on the schools parking lot and see Dinah running towards me.

"Someone's excited to see me!" I say smirking."Hi!" She says hugging me.

"What's up?" I ask, since she never runs and if she runs, I know I have to run too cause there's something up.

"The sky, duh" she says, and giggles."You really think you're funny huh?" I ask and she nods.

"But for real, what's up?" I ask, looking her in the eyes as we walk towards a bench and sit on it.

"So uhm" she starts."I may or may not like Normani... a-and I wanna ask her out or something" she says.

I jump up,"Oh my god that's so cute, D you're so cute!" I yell jumping around.

"But, how should I ask her? And when? And what if she says no? And if she says yes where should I take her?" Dinah panics.

"Okay, so you're gonna come to my house after school and we're gonna plan this date!" I say and she nods.

"Now let's go to class" she says and grabs my arm, dragging me to the math classroom.

Dinah and I are in my car, we're waiting for the stoplight to turn green.

I look out of the window and see Lauren's standing next to mine. She looks at me too and waves at me.

When the stoplight turns green, Lauren speeds away, really fast, like always.

"Wait, was that miss Jauregui?!" Dinah asks,"She drives fast as fuck!" She says and I nod smiling.

When we pull up on the parking lot of the condo building.

We see Lauren running towards the building, basically not running because she's on her heels.

"Wait was she really the one in that car that's possibly getting a ticket cause of driving too fast?!" Dinah asks.

"Yeah, she always drives this fast" I say laughing as I lock up my car, and we walk inside the building.

As soon as we walk inside my condo, I drop my backpack on the floor and walk towards the kitchen.

Dinah follows me and jumps on the counter while I grab some cans of coke.

"Girl can I smoke in here?" Dinah asks, since I'm trying to stop so I don't want my condo to smell like smoke.

"Let's sit on the balcony" I say.

We walk to the balcony and Dinah lights her cigarette as soon as we stand outside.

We hear something from the right side and look at our right.

I see Lauren sitting at her balcony with Ally, Lauren smoking a cigarette and Ally just sitting with her, talking.

"Wait she actually lives down the hall?!" Dinah whisper-yells.

"Mmm yeah" I say, taking a sip of my coke."Cam, one question" Dinah says, sitting on the small wall.

"Shoot" I simply answer."Why are you even stopping smoking?" She asks.

"Cause it's fucking unhealthy and yeah" I answer, looking at the view in front of me.

"Why'd you even start then?" She asks."Why did you start? I don't know.. I barely got any attention at home, so I think I thought I'd get some attention if I started acting like the 'badass' type, so I started smoking but yeah i still didn't got any attention cause my parents were always away, so yeah I just moved out.. I feel sorry for my little sis tho, she still lives in that place with our babysitter.." I answer, truthfully.

"That's a lot girl, I feel sorry for you" Dinah says and hugs me.

"D, you're my best friend for years now, almost 14 years, I think you already knew that" I say.

"Yeah but it still hits me you know, you're my best friend.. I love you" she says.

"Y'know all the 'go bestfriend shit'" she laughs.

"But now we have to go to the topic why you're here, your date with Mani" I say excitedly jumping up.

I grab her hand and pull her inside.

We sit on the sofa and she grabs her phone.

"So what do you wanna do on your date if she says yes?" I ask her.

"I don't know, go to the festival or something.. but I don't know how to ask her.."She answers.

"Wait... I HAVE AN IDEA!" I yell.

Dinah and I are leaning over the fence of the balcony, seeing Normani arrive with the Macdonalds food.

"WHOO MANI U BROUGHT MACDONALDS!" I yell.

She looks up at us and stops waking, waving with both of her arms.

"COME AND BRING ME MY FOOD GIRL I'M STARVING AND AT THE MOMENT I'M LOVING YOU FOR BRINGING ME FOOD!" I yell and she starts walking again.

"CAN YOU STOP FUCKING SCREAMING?!" Lauren yells from her balcony, and I look at her.

She glares at me from her place at the table, with her laptop and smoking a cigarette.

God she's hot.. She's wearing an oversized AC⚡️DC shirt and her hair is in a ponytail.

I stare at her and hear Mani walking up the balcony.

I take my eyes of Lauren and hug Normani, taking the plastic bag of food from her and nodding to Dinah.

Dinah takes her inside to ask her for the date and I take my seat at the table.

I take out my hamburger and fries and start eating.

I hear some music coming from another condo so I look to my right.

I see Lauren and Ally dancing on their balcony with loud Bob Marley music on, I see joints in both of their hands and they're laughing really hard.

I chuckle and continue eating my food laughing at them.

I don't even notice Dinah and Normani coming back on the balcony, both smiling.

They take a seat and look at what I'm laughing at.

"I-is that miss Jauregui?!" Normani whisper-yells and I slowly nod.

Lauren walked back into their apartment and we hear her yelling "yo Ally, want some more beer?!" And we hear Ally yelling yes.

At that moment Ally's head is hit with a can of beer.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK LAUREN?!"She yells and Lauren comes running outside.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Al" she says laughing."But you have to admit, it was kinda funny!" She says, sitting on the floor of the balcony.

"So how went it?" I ask Dinah, taking my eyes of the scene a few condo's next to me.

"She said yes!" Dinah says excited."Good job D!" I say and hug her.

Normani and Dinah take their food out of the plastic bag on the table and start eating.

We eat in peace until we hear a loud "LAUREN MICHELLE JAUREGUI MORGADO!" From her apartment.

A minute later we see Lauren running over the parking lot downstairs, Ally chasing her with a bottle of water.

"OKAY, OKAY! PEACE BITCH, PEACE!" Lauren yells.

At that moment the door of the balcony of another condo opens.

An old woman leans over the fence and looks at them.

"CAN YOU PLEASE STOP MAKING SUCH A NOISE OR I'LL CALL THE DAMN POLICE!" She yells.

"YEAH WE'LL BE QUIET!" Lauren yells from downstairs, but I hear a quiet "bitch I'm rich what the fuck you're talking about the police" but the elder woman doesn't hear that. She has already walked inside, shaking her head and saying "stupid children" over and over.

At that moment we hear a loud ass scream.

We look over the fence and see Lauren drenched, and boy she looks so mad.

"BITCH NOW I HAVE TO SHOWER AGAIN AND I JUST STRAIGHTENED MY FUCKING HAIR!" She yells at Ally, chasing her inside the building.

"Let's go inside" I say and we walk inside, sitting on the couch.

I put on my tv and we watch a random movie on Netflix.

It's already 12:45 am when the movie ends and the girls end up staying over together in the guest room.

When they're in the guest room, I quickly take a shower and change into an oversized band shirt, brushing my teeth and walking into my bedroom.

I drop myself on my bed and grab my laptop.

I answer some emails and then close my laptop, covering myself with the duvet and turning off the lights, I close my eyes and fall asleep.
