Chapter 5

My Pov:

It's 4:42 right now and I want brownies wrapped in bacon. My cravings are so weird. I turn to my side and look at Tetsurou, I shake him lightly until he wakes up.

"What's wrong, kitten?" His voice deep from sleep but frantically sits up.

"I'm sorry for waking you up Love but I really really want brownies and Bacon"

"Let me correct myself. They want brownies wrapped in bacon" I point to my belly.

"Ah ok well do you want to come with to get it?" Tetsurou asks as he gets up from the bed.

"Yeah just help me up please" he comes over and grabs my hand, pulling me up to my feet. I slip a hoodie over my body but it doesn't go over my belly all the way.

" Tetsurou do you have a bigger hoodie?" I ask, slipping it off.

"Of course Love, here take this one" He hands me a blue tie-dye hoodie. I slip it over my body and it fits perfectly.

"Thank you Tetsurou, now come on let's go, they're hungry" I giggle,he laughs with me.

"Alright come on pregnant lady" I playfully smack his arm and start walking to the car with him. He runs in and grabs box brownies and raw bacon.

"Here is this ok?" He asks, handing everything to me.

"Yeah we'll make it at home"

We get home and grab the eggs,oil,and water pouring everything over the mix. And whisk, I feel strong toned arms wrap around me supporting my tummy. I walk over and pour the mix into the pan and throw it into the oven, Tetsurou still attached to me. I start cooking the bacon, the aroma filling the room.

"Is it just me or is it hot in here?" I ask.

"It's just you, put your arms up" I do what he says and he slips off his hoodie leaving me in a bra and black tank top only covering half of my stomach. He sets it on one of the chairs in the dining room and settles himself like he was before hands cupping my tummy and his head on my shoulder.

Ding

I grab the oven mits and pull the brownies out of the oven setting them in the freezer so they cool faster. Tetsurou lets go and sits on the couch, while I eagerly wait near the freezer for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes I take the brownies out of the freezer and set them next to the plate with the cooked bacon. I grab a knife and cut a piece of brownie and place 3 strips of bacon on top. The first bite I took was like heaven. I finish my first one and go for a second one, savoring the taste before I go back to sleep. After I finish and put everything away. I slowly feel my back start hurting and want to lay down.

"Tetsurou, are you ready to go back to bed?"

"Well do you want to today?"

"Can we just have a lazy day, my back it starting to hurt a little"

"Alright Kitten lets go to bed"

We head to the bedroom and I lay down on my side facing Tetsurou's side of the bed. He lays down and looks at me.

" y/n turn around" I do as he says and I feel his hands start to massage my lower back. I feel the pain in my back slowly disappear and I close my eyes snuggling into Tetsurou's chest.

~ One week later~

My Pov:

I open the fridge and pour myself a glass of Orange juice, walk into the living room and take a seat. I sit down and turn the Tv on,while sipping on my orange juice. I finish the orange juice and I begin to feel kicks.

"Oh are you guys making your daily appearance" I giggle and smooth my hand over my midsection. I hear a soft chuckle come from my left. I look over to find Tetsurou leaning against the wall chuckling, and staring at me. He heard me talking to them.

Tetsurou's Pov:

I was walking to the living room when I hear y/n talking, I lean against the wall listening

"Oh are you guys making your daily appearance" I hear her laugh and watch her move her hand over the stomach. I chuckle at how cute and lovable she's being. I think to myself, she's going to be an amazing mother. She turns her head in my direction and a blush spreads over her beautiful face. I walk over to her, and kneel right in front of her, I lift the fabric of her shirt to expose her belly and cup my hands on her stomach while I look into her brown orbs.

"y/n you are going to be an amazing mother" I look at her stomach, then at her and I feel the twins move.

"Even they agree" My heart flutters when I feel small taps against my hands on both sides. I then place my ear to her stomach.

"Tetsurou you're going to be an amazing dad too" I hear y/n say as she runs her hair through my hair.

"Tomorrow we have an appointment and we can find out the gender of the twins" Her fingers intertwined in my hair. I nod In response.

"It doesn't matter what we have, I will love them no matter what..... But I wouldn't mind a little girl, she would be daddys little princess." She giggles at my comment.

"It doesn't matter to me either I just want them safe and healthy"

As y/n says that I wrap my arms around her waist and I gently press my ear against her tummy. I can feel her shift uncomfortably, it must be her back pain.

"I hope they look like you Love I really do I hope they have your hair and smile"

I look up at her to see her beaming smile. I smile up at her as well.

"y/n you're too good to me" I sit up on the couch on the opposite arm rest, I open my legs and pat the spot indicating her to come over. She smiles nervously.

"Come on y/n you'll be fine" She slowly makes her way over and sits between my legs sitting straight up. I grab her shoulders pulling her back as she tries to sit up right.

"Tetsurou s-stop I don't want to squish you... I-I'm too heavy"

"You are not too heavy kitten" I pull her back all the way to my chest.

"Are you sure I'm not too heavy?"

"Yes kitten your fine" I finally feel her relax, she gives a sigh of relief. I move my arms to her lower abdomen to try and make her as comfortable as possible.

"Hows your back feeling"

"H-how did you know" She asks, nervous and confused.

"I don't know when you were moving around on the couch it felt like your back hurt"

"It did but this is taking the weight off my back" I smile. And she rests her head on my shoulder. I hold her like this for the rest of the day.

I wake up the next morning and see y/n's side of the bed empty. I look around the room looking for her. I slip on some shorts and walk around the house.

"y/n?"

"In here" I hear from the kitchen. I walk over to find my beautiful wife setting breakfast on 2 plates, an omelet with spinach,mushroom, and tomato.

"What did I do to deserve you y/n" She laughs

"Just sit down and eat with me"

"Your very happy today y/n"

"I am, we are learning the gender of our twins today of course I am" She takes a bite of her omelet.

After we finish breakfast I wash the dishes and head to the shower.

"Love are you ready?"

"Yeah lets go" I grab the keys and head to the car with y/n.

We walked into the room really for y/n's ultrasound. We patiently await Dr.Miles. Knock Knock Knock. The door opens and he pops in.

"Good afternoon y/n and Tetsurou we are going to do the usual and do you and since you are about a week away from being 6 months we can identify the gender of the twins. Would you guys like to know the genders of your twins today?"

"Yes we would," y/n said excitedly, looking over at me, I smile and nod at her as well.

y/n pulls her shirt up exposing her midsection. Dr.Miles moves the gel with the wand.

" That's baby A and this here is baby B" he points to the screen.

" Congratulations you're having twin boys" he says smiling over at the two of us. I squeeze her hand while looking at her, fighting the tears burning in my eyes.

After we leave and walk into the house with both of us speechless this is getting more and more real.

"Tetsurou we're having 2 little boys" I see the tears in her eyes threatening to fall.

"I can guarantee they are going to be mommas boys" I say walking over to her and hugging her still conscious of her tummy.

"We should talk about names"

"Hmm yeah we should" I say, still hugging her but placing a hand on her belly. She pulls away and moves my hand around her stomach. I feel the taps for the twins, they have been getting stronger. I pick her up, bridal style.

"Tetsurou what are you doing I'm too heavy!" she yells in surprise. I make my way over to the bedroom with her in my arms, gingerly placing her on the bed.

"Do you want to order pizza or something and we can go name hunting on the computer"

"Mm Yeah" She says, situating herself on the bed and taking her shirt off.

"This pregnancy is making me hot" I laugh and wink at her, she rolls her eyes and I grab the phone.

"Oh oh wait Tetsurou get brownies, and breadsticks, and cinnamon twists, also on the pizza get pepperoni, mushrooms,bacon,and ham"

"Alright Kitten" I order everything and 30 minutes later the doorbell rings. I walk over and grab everything from the pizza man and bring it into our bedroom. As we eat we both skim through baby names, I find 2 that stand out: Itsuki and Hotaka.

"Kitten what do you think of Itsuki and Hotaka?"

"I love them, do you want to get their input?" I settle myself in between y/n's legs and press my lips against her tummy and start talking.

"Would you guys like to be named Itsuki and Hotaka?" I pause for a moment and I feel kicks land right on my lips below y/n's belly button.

"They agree" Both of us laugh together.

"Alright Love I'm really tired and want to go to bed" I nod and put everything away in the kitchen, and come crawl back into the sheets. I hear y/n's breathing slow and regulated. I lay on my back and place my hand on her stomach and I feel kicks. 

"I love the three of you too"

A few days later I notice y/n's belly is really red and it looks like she's been itching at her skin.

"y/n have you been itching your stomach?"

"Yeah my skin has just gotten super itchy these past few days" y/n says looking down at her skin. I sigh.

"Kitten I could have helped you there's lotion in the cabinet" I walk to the cabinet and grab the two showing her where they are, with both in hand I walk over to her and sit next to her on the couch.

"Turn towards me"

"Why?" she asks confused

"Because I'm going to put some lotion on your stomach to soothe the itching"

She nods as I pile lotion in my hand. I rub both hands together and place them on her belly, moving my hands in circles spreading the lotion around the expanse of her stomach. After all the lotion is rubbed into her skin she breathes a sigh of relief.

"That feels great, it doesn't itch anymore and my stomach is soft" I nod and smile at her, I put the items away and start the daily chores: Dishes, sweeping, mopping,wiping off the table, and vacuuming. While I'm in the kitchen doing dishes, I hear the vacuum being turned on then turned off again. I walk out into the living room and I find y/n struggling to bend down to pick something up that was in front of the vacuum. I make my way over to her finding some quarters in front of the vacuum, I quickly bend down picking up the change and store it in my pocket.

"y/n I will do the chores you just sit and relax" I say while guiding her to the couch, with the new pillows we had just bought.

"Tetsurou just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't do anything around the house"

"I know love just let me do it please"

"Oh fine" She finally gives up.

"Also the team invited us to go have lunch today, what do you think?" I ask, swiping the floor.

" I mean sure but we could invite them here for dinner instead" She suggests. I think about it.

"We are already cleaning the house and they have never been over, maybe it'll be fun" She adds.

"Alright why not"

My Pov:

After finishing the cleaning we went to the grocery store picking up things for lasagna, and chicken soup. It's 4:30 only an hour and a half until the team gets here. As Kuroo sets the table for our guesses, I layer everything in 2 pans for the lasagna and throw them into the oven, soon after I start chopping the ingredients for the chicken soup. As I do this I can feel my lower back burning from my hunched over position begging me to stand straight and sit down. I can also feel my feet start hurting, I notice I switch my weight off my feet frequently trying to ease the pain they are in. I bite my lower lip and continue chopping.

"Kitten I finished set-" Tetsurou cuts himself off, rushing over to me placing a hand on my lower back.

"Love you can't be hunched over like that" His voice full of concern, I look over to him plastering a fake smile trying my best to hide the pain I'm in.

"Tetsu I'm fi-"

"y/n I can see your in pain, that fake smile doesn't work on me we both know that" I sigh knowing that I might as well let my pain be visible. I take a shaky breath.

" ok fine my back really does hurt and so do my feet" I stand straight and place my hands on my hips trying to massage my back with my thumbs.

"I know Kitten, we have about an hour until everyone gets here so, go take a quick shower while you're doing that. I will finish the rest of the cooking then give you a massage ok?"

I nod in agreeance, scrunching my face up in pain as I'm walking into the bathroom turning on the hot water and adding vanilla soap to the water, while I watch it bubble up, I strip off my clothing looking in the mirror as I look at my side profile. The tub fills and I walk in submerging myself into the hot water, my belly sticking out of the water just a bit. I feel my back pain and feet ease. It has been getting more and more frequent. After about 10 minutes I'm out, fresh and ready to have company over. I change into maternity jeans with a cute wine red cold shoulder top. I walk out into the kitchen to see Tetsurou stirring the soup. Since he always does this to me I might as well do the same. I come from behind him and wrap my arms around his muscular build, my belly hitting his butt before the rest of my body touches him.

"Lasagna is cooked and ready to go. I just left it in the oven so it doesn't get cold and the chicken soup needs about 10 more minutes"He tells me, turning around, I can feel his toned abs on my big baby bump.

I look deep into his hazel orbs almost spacing out. I smile and bury my face into his chest.

"Alright y/n let's head to the couch" I head over and take a seat and Tetsurou sits behind me. He places his hands on my lower back and starts digging his thumbs into my back,I close my eyes and lean forward. After he stops he moves to the opposite side of the couch bringing my feet into his lap and he starts rubbing them,I continuing to keep my eyes closed struggling not to fall asleep.

"Better?" I open my eyes to Tetsurou.

"That was amazing,thank you very much Love"

"We have about 20 minutes until they come so I'm going to straighten my hair" I look at him and he knows right away that I need help getting up. He gets up off the couch and pulls me up. I head to the bathroom and pull the straightener out pulling it into the outlet above the toilet. I brush my hair and section it as it begins to heat up. As I straighten my hair I hear Tetsurou in the closet searching for a shirt. After I finish straightening my hair I take one small section from both sides on my head and tie them together in the back and flip it twice to give it a curling effect. I unplug the straightener and walk into our bedroom. I see Tetsurou changing into a nice wine red dress shirt matching the color of my top.

"Wow your look very handsome"

"Eh I look fine... but you kitten are looking absolutely gorgeous" he walks over and cups my belly with his hands giving me a kiss.

I sigh with a straight face and look down at my stomach and back go Tetsurou.

"I look like a red grape"

"y/n you are carrying our children right now. Despite what you think you look amazing and that will never change" he kneels and looks up to me then places his lips on my tummy.

"You guys be good for your mommy ok" They kick in response before settling down.

Tetsurou gets back up and kisses my lips

"now let's go wait for our guess"

Just as we walk into the Dinning room we hear the doorbell ring. Tetsurou and I both head to the door together. He opens the door and sees the whole team in the doorway. We move our way to the living room and everyone takes a seat and starts talking. 

"How are you guys doing?" Kenma asks Tetsurou.

"We are good nothing much has happened other than Itsuki and Hotaka started kicking"

"Oh wow cool you're having twin boys" I heard everyone saying at the same time.

"Yeah we are, we decided to name them Itsuki and Hotaka, they just started kicking" I say looking down to my belly.

"What does it feel like?" Lev asked the question everyone was thinking it, but too afraid to ask.

"Well it feels like a flutter"

"Yeah from the outside it's like a mini punch" Tetsurou adds looking over at my stomach and how it's contouring due to the boys movements.

"Anyways when's your next game"

"Well... that's what we needed to talk to you about," Yaku said.

"Alright let's eat first then talk about it" Tetsurou looked at his team and they all nodded.

I look up at Tetsurou who already has his hand out to help me up, I get on my feet and walk into the kitchen ready to carry the pot of chicken soup, before I even get a chance to grab onto the handles I feel large warm hands hold my arms to my sides while he says

"Oh no you don't go sit down with the team I will handle the food and drinks" I sigh.

"At least let me ta-"

"Nope, no negotiations, go take a seat" He smiles and gives me a forehead kiss. I take a seat across from Kenma, the seat to my right is empty and saved for Tetsurou. He walks over with the 2 lasagnas then walks back into the kitchen, he then comes and sets the pot of chicken soup on the hot pads that are on the table. He takes a seat next to me and everyone starts digging in. After dinner I collect everyone's plates and leave them in the sink to wash them later. I sit in my original seat and listen to the conversation.

Tetsurou's Pov:

"A tournament in the United states and we'd be gone for a week... you guys know y/n is 6 months pregnant with my twin boys right.. I can't just get up and leave just for a volleyball game" I explain to the team, I feel y/n's hand on my shoulder.

"Love you should go I will be fine"

"But y/n I can't just le-"

"Tetsurou you should go right now you don't have to worry the twins aren't coming for another 3 months, we will be fine. We can facetime everyday while you're gone it's not even that long it's only a week" She says smiling at me.

"Alright fine but only because you want me to go and the team needs me"

"You have to call me everyday so that I could check up on you guys" I look at her with a serious expression.

"Alright that's perfectly fine" She answers looking at me and I feel my eyes sofen. I grab her chin bringing her into a soft kiss, I love her soft lips against mine.

I look over and see the team, the whole team is just staring at us showing our affection to each other.

"What?"I ask looking around the room.

"Guys we are adults not highschoolers anymore chill out"

"W-we should p-p-probably g-go thank you for the food" Lev says nervously standing from his chair.

"Yeah we'll leave you two to it" They all leave in a hurry and I lock the door behind them.

I go back to the kitchen. y/n already cleaned up the dishes and was now washing them in the sink.

"Tetsurou don't even try to pull me away from doing these dishes"

"Alright alright" I grab the broom and start sweeping the floor, after everything is cleaned up. y/n is in the shower and I am ready to jump in the shower after her. After about 10 minutes I see y/n walk out of the bathroom in short shorts and a sports bra settling herself in our bed on the nest of pillows. I quickly jump into the shower taking 5 minutes and come out in boxers and I lean against the doorway just staring at y/n. I feel my heart flutter as I look at her. She is so gorgeous, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and with my babies inside her she looks 10x more amazing.

"Why are you staring at me like that"

"Because you're beautiful" she rolls her eyes, I smile and walk over and sit next to her. I look around for the lotion and grab it. I pour lotion on my hand and massage the lotion into her stretching skin. I hear a sigh of relief come from her.

"Kitten are you sure I can go I would be more than happy to stay"

"Tetsurou Love it's fine it's just a week there's no need to worry we will be fine"

"I just don't want anything to happen while I'm gone" I stare at her stomach thinking about everything that could happen to the 3 of them. She swiftly takes my head and brings our lips together. I pull away and rest my head on her big tummy. As if the babies were responding to my worry, I felt the soft taps of Ituski and Hotaka telling me they'd be fine. I close my eyes. It's so serene. I feel y/n shift slowly trying her best to not disturb me. I lift my head up to look at her and I see her bottom lip between her teeth.

"What's wrong kitten"

"The babies are kicking me in the kidneys and my back is starting to hurt"

I look down at her stomach watching Hotaka and Itsuki move around. I lean down and begin talking to them.

"Hey guys could you settle down, it's hurting mommy" I glide my hand across the expanse of her bump and I see the twins kick once more before settling down.

"How did you do that" She asks looking down at me.

"Magic kitten magic" She giggles and my heart flutters. I love her laugh.

"Ok love I love you but I need to lay down, my back is hurting" I quickly get up and watch her lay down. I lay down next to her, placing my hands on her back and massaging it.

"They have 3 more months to grow in here and my back is already hurting" she laughs trying to sound funny.

"I know Kitten and I'll be here in any way I can and help you out as much as possible" She moves her arm and puts her hand on mine.

"I know love thank you and sorry in advance if I'm grumpy during that time" I kiss her hand.

"Get some sleep my kitten it was a long day"

"Mmm I love you so much Tetsurou"

"I love you too y/n"
