After the Calamity

(Disclaimer: Urbosa's Dialogue from this chapter belongs to Nintendo and the writers of Breath of the Wild)

"I knew you wouldn't let us down, Link."

The Hylian Champion turned to see Urbosa, the Gerudo Champion, in a magnificent spirit form. As she descended the stairs inside Naboris, she grew close to Link with a beaming smirk on her face. Link adjusted to the sight before him after defeating an evil spawn of Ganon's malice.

"Thanks to your valor and skill, my soul is free and Naboris is ours once again."

Link bowed his head in respect for the Champion who fell to Thunderblight Ganon 100 years prior.

"Which means that finally..." she said, "we can complete what we started years ago. We Gerudo have no tolerance for unfinished business."

Urbosa smirked and told Link how long she had waited for him to rush Hyrule Castle. Then, she blessed him with a powerful skill, dubbed Urbosa's fury. With a snap of his fingers, Link subjected the surrounding area to violent strikes of lightning.

"Both you and the princess," she began, "I know you have suffered much regarding what happened to us Champions. But this is how things had to happen. No one need carry blame."

Urbosa thought of the crippling guilt Zelda felt after the horrible death of the Champions when she said that. It was evident to Link that Urbosa felt anger towards no one but Ganon.

"So please... make it clear so she understands that. Tell her to shed any worries. And... let her know that I couldn't be more proud of her."

Link could tell that Zelda occupied a great part of Urbosa's heart. The Champion wanted Zelda to feel no regrets from her passing. Urbosa knew the struggles Zelda had and still were facing.

"You take good care of the Princess. Oh, and also..." Urbosa said with a wink. "Take good care of Hyrule."

Link then suddenly dissipated from the Divine Beast and returned to Gerudo town.

Take good care of Hyrule, Link thought. Could that mean?...

He shook the thought from his head.
