Rescuing The One I Love

Previously. . .

Natsu held Gray up, "Listen here you bastard. Lucy's suffering from the doings of her friend. She's crying. She's hurt. And yet.. You're not trying to save her?!"

And the story continues. . .

Natsu lets go of Gray, then the ice wizard crouched down on the ground, he held his head and shook it, "I just don't.. know her..! I'm trying to remember her! Just.. Who is she?!"

"I love you Gray."

"!!"

"Lu..cy.." He muttered weakly.

All of the Fairy Tail mages' eyes widened, they were shocked that they heard Gray remembered the blonde. Then, the red-haired titania held Gray's shoulder and asked, "Gray, do you.. remember her now?"

Gray touched his own forehead and sat down, "I think so.. Her voice just popped into my head."

"Maybe Yasuhiro's magic is wearing out.." Wendy mumbled.

"No." Charles interrupted, "A magic like that can't wear out. Magic can't expire."

"Then how did Gray remember Lucy?" Cana asked while drinking her beer.

"This is too cheesy." Charles sighed, "It's because of their love. It's too strong. Lucy must be longing for Gray now."

"I need to save her right now. Where did the enemy take her?"

"We don't know. The enemy has the power of concealing his presence, it's a part of his magic." One of the employers answered.

"Damn it. This is my fault."

Lisanna pats Gray shoulder, "It's not anyone's fault Gray. The enemy is just too strong."

Then, Natsu butted into the conversation, "Who cares about that?! We have to save Lucy quickly! That bastard might do something to her memory! She might forget all of us," He shifted his gaze at Gray's dark eyes, "Even you Gray."

The ice wizard looked away, "This is no time to mope around. I have to rescue her.." he thought.

"We must search around the area." Erza commanded, "The enemy might still be around. Keep an eye out for him."

When the mages are still looking for Yasuhiro, a sound of a siren was heard from the lab. One of the employers immediately ran to one of the wizards.

"What happened?" Gray asked with a worried look.

"The intruder..! H-He--"

Just before the employee could finish his sentence, a loud static is heard from the lab. The mages hurriedly ran inside, and at the large screen, Yasuhiro appeared with an emotionless Lucy lying in the floor.

"Greetings, fellow mages." Yasuhiro greeted with an evil smile formed on his face.

"You a**hole! What did you do to Lucy?!" Gray angrily questioned.

"Ahahaha, I see you've finally regained your memories Gray. Don't worry, Lucy's 'safe' here with me."

"Give her back! Lucy is mine..! She's the only one that I..

cherish the most.."

Yasuhiro suddenly laughs hysterically, "Do you really think that I'm that nice to give her back? Well, think again! I'm keeping her to myself." Then, the blonde went to the lying Lucy. He caressed her cheek and played with her hair, "There, there my dear. Soon, we'll be together."

"Don't you even touch her!"

"Too late." The blonde smirked, "If you wish to save her, then come find us. Well, if you can that is! HAHAHAHA!"

After that, Yasuhiro ended the 'conversation'.

Gray's body became weak, he suddenly knelt to the ground with shaky hands. He was about to give in to the darkness that was forming in his heart that is full of negative thoughts.

"I could never be with Lucy again.."

"I'll never see her again.."

"She's my pride and joy. But, now I've lost her."

As Gray was about to succumb to the negative thoughts from his heart, a sudden voice was heard.

"Gray.. Please.. Come save me. I need you..!"

"Lucy?"

"GRAY! SNAP OUT OF IT!" Natsu yelled.

"H-huh?"

"Don't 'huh' me! We've gotta save Lucy now!"

"R-Roger!"

"Oh Lucy~" Yasuhiro caressed the unconscious blonde's cheeks.

"But, how dense can you be though? Haven't you even thought of me once? Haven't you thought that I might have feelings for you?!" The young man kicked Lucy in the stomach.

"Glck! A-Agh.." Lucy coughed and groaned in pain.

He sighed, "I must remain my calm composure in this."

"Y-Yasu..hiro.."

"Hm?" He turned around and faced the hurt blonde, "What is it?"

"I.. did thought of.. you.. once." She smiled.

"Wh-What? Don't tell me those foolish lies now!" Yasuhiro gave Lucy another kick in the stomach.

"Urk! Ha.. ugh.. Agh. I-It's not a.. lie..!"

"Huh?!"

"What I'm saying is true..! Can't you--" Before Lucy could finish her sentence, she suddenly lost consciousness again due to the pain Yasuhiro inflicted on her.

"..."

"I loved you Lucy.." Yasuhiro whispered to himself.

"HEY!"

?!

The blonde man turned around and received a punch from the ice wizard.

Yasuhiro fell onto the ground while Gray ran to Lucy, "Lucy! Hey! Stay with me!"

The celestial mage opened her eyes a bit, "Gr..ay.. I knew.. you would come..." She coughed and moaned.

"Shh. Don't speak anymore Lucy. I'll take you home.."

As Gray said, Lucy didn't utter any more word and lost consciousness once again.

All of a sudden, Yasuhiro stood up, "Gray, once Lucy wakes up, tell her that I'm sorry."

"What? How come are you being nice all of a sudden?"

"Nothing in particular.. You could say that, I loved her." The blonde man gave Gray a smirk and disappeared.

"..So, he did love her.." The ice wizard muttered to himself.
