The Undead

Previously. . .

"Uhmm, I'm sorry but, who are you?"

Lucy widened her eyes in shock, "Wh-What? D-Don't joke around me now." Then she pointed herself, "I-It's me, Lucy. Your lover."

"Sorry." Gray pushed her away, "But I don't know any Lucy, nor that I know that I have a lover."

And the story continues. . .

Lucy backed away with tears on her eyes, "N-No way.."

"You really don't..remember me?" She added.

"No, I don't. I never fell inlove with a Lucy for as long as I can remember." Gray crossed his arms.

"This cannot be real.." The blonde covered her face and started crying.

Then, Erza walked near to Gray and slapped him, "Gray! You're hurting Lucy's feelings with that stupid act of yours! Stop kidding around!"

"What do you mean 'act'?" Gray asked while touching the red mark that was left by the red-haired on his cheek.

"What I'm saying is true. I don't remember her. I don't remember once in my life that I dated her." He added.

Every single Fairy Tail guild mages are in a state of shock of what has happened to the ice wizard. They couldn't believe what they just heard, especially Lucy. They asked themselves, "What on earth just happened to him?"

After a short while, one of the employers of the resort came running towards Ryuutarou, "Ryuu-san! There's an emergency! We need you right away!"

"Just calm down. Tell me what happened first."

Then Charles whispered secretly to Wendy, "What happened to his 'yooow' habit?"

The child answered, "I don't know Charles. Maybe when he gets serious, he stops saying that."

"I wish he's serious all the time." The exceed muttered in an annoyed tone and rolled her eyes.

"There has been an intruder inside the place!" The employer explained while panicking, "The censors had been shut down by the enemy. And the worst of all, the wizard has memory magic. He wiped out the memories of the people who saw him!"

"Memory..magic?" Lucy asked herself, then she suddenly stood up, "What did the enemy looked like?"

The employer faced the blonde with a disappointed look on her face, "We're sorry Lucy-san. But, we didn't know what his face was like."

Mirajane holds Lucy's shoulder, "Hey Lucy. I think, Gray encountered the enemy. Maybe that's the reason of his memory loss."

"But.. Why did the enemy removed his memory of me? It doesn't make any sense at all."

Juvia interrupted, "Perhaps, the intruder knows you Lucy. And maybe, just maybe, the enemy knows Gray as well." 

"I wonder if there's some way we can know the enemy's face. But how? The employer said that he removed the memories of those who saw him. And.. we also need to restore Gray's memory back." Lucy bit her lip.

"I think I may have a solution. Follow me." - Ryuutarou

Everyone followed Ryuutarou to his laboratory. The place was quite huge even though he was the only one using it. The room was filled with such sweet scent because of the experiments that he was working on. 

"I didn't know that your lab is pretty big." - Lucy

"Well, it has improved over the years when you were gone Lucy."

"I see. Anyways, what's the solution that you were talking about?" The blonde asked seriously.

"You see, even with the censors gone, I have hidden cameras that are scattered throughout the resort. The purpose of the censors, are to identify the person's magic while the cameras are used to identify the person's look." Ryuutarou explained, "And my cameras are special, no one has ever destroyed them before. Even an expert couldn't find them." He bragged while crossing his arms.

"So you mean, your cameras can find the culprit?!"

"Yes."

And so, Ryuutarou went over to the tv screens that were located at the farthest corner of his lab. He pushed a lot of buttons to rewind the videos that were captured by his cameras to see if there was a suspicious person lurking around the resort.

20 minutes has passed and Ryuutarou was still checking through the cameras. But then, when he was about to give up looking, he suddenly noticed a blonde man with bandages wrapped around his body.

"Hey guys," Ryuu called out, "Look at this."

All of the mages gathered around him to look at what he had found. When Lucy saw the enemy on the screen, her eyes widened in shock.

"Y-Yasuhiro.." She mumbled.

(A/N: Yasuhiro Hasekura's character on the right. c:)

"You know him Lucy?" Erza asked.

"Y-Yes. He's one of my chilhood friends in the past. 14 years ago, when me, Satsuno and Yasuhiro were playing here in Ryuu's lab, a sudden explosion occured in the area. It was a massive blast. Lots of employers died in the explosion and, only me and Satsuno were the ones who were able to escape the lab. We thought Yasuhiro was dead because he didn't escape with us. When the army went to investigate in the next day, Yasuhiro's body was nowhere to be found."

"But, Yasuhiro could've escaped if the army didn't found his body right?" Levy queried.

"That's what me and Satsuno thought at first, but we suddenly remembered..

That there were no possible exits."

(A/N: In this 'Amnesia' arc of mine, there might be less GrayLu moments. Because in the next chapter, it will be all about Yasuhiro. On how he 'survived'. But don't worry, when Yasuhiro's chapter is over, there will be moments of Gray and Lucy again. So stay tuned!)
