It was already evening when Nani stepped out of Pooh's room, stretching his arms lazily after spending all noon playing video games with P'Jimmy. The corridor outside was dim, only the faint light from the high windows trailing along the second floor. This floor belonged solely to the Theerapanyakun brothers-no outsider or guest was ever allowed here.

That was why Nani froze mid-step.

Just a few feet away, Peach was whispering animatedly to Kiwi, her hands moving in exaggerated gestures, while Kiwi looked pale and nervous, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. Neither had noticed him yet.

Nani's lips curved into slow smirk. "My, my...ย  look who's here."

Both sisters startled, spinning toward him. Peach's face burned with anger, while Kiwi's eyes flickered with unease, as though just being caught in his presence felt dangerous.

"Don't you know guests aren't allowed here?" Nani's voice was light, almost sweet, as he sauntered toward them.

"Then what are you doing here?" Peach snapped back.

"That," Nani answered with a smile, "is the difference between you and me, Peach." His eyes slid toward Kiwi, his tone dipping lower. "And you... snake in training. Don't think the little stunt you pulled will work. You should've known better."

Kiwi's lips trembled before she straightened, forcing a glare. "You don't need to tell me what to do, Nani."

Nani tilted his head, calm as ever. "But If you come after my family, I have to interfere."

"You're going off limits," Peach hissed.

Nani's smile sharpened. "What is that thing? Is it edible?" The mockery in his tone made Peach's blood boil.

"I like Pooh, and I'm getting him," Kiwi suddenly said, fierceness cutting through her usual quiet.

Nani's brows lifted, his voice dripping with false amusement. "Really? So... gangbang is just a hobby? A very dirty hobby, I'd say."

Kiwi's eyes went wide, her lips parting in horror. Peach turned to her, stunned. "What did you do, Kiwi?"

"Oh, you didn't know what your precious baby sister has been up to? How funny," Nani chuckled.

"Wait! What does even gang bang means?" Peach asked eyes flicking from Nani to kiwi.

Nani laughed so hard. "Oh peach what are you a caveman? Let me break down it to you. Gang bang means when several men use one woman for their pleasure all at once."

"What! kiwi what are you up to huh? Is there any problem I think you need to see a doctor I'll talk with mom."

"NO!" Kiwi yelled.

"Hmm kiwi seems to be not that innocent as we think she is. Isn't kiwi?" Nani said a mocking smile at his face.

Kiwi's stomach dropped. He wasn't supposed to know. Those were just fantasies, secrets she kept buried-nothing she'd dared breathe aloud.

"What did you think, Kiwi?" Nani pressed, stepping closer. "You'd get my classmates for your little gang-sex adventure and I wouldn't notice? Silly Kiwi." His voice was thick with fake pity.

Kiwi's knees nearly buckled. His classmates? She hadn't known-they were just mens she met at a bar.

"What the fuck, Kiwi?!" Peach's shriek echoed down the hallway.

"Oh, lower your voice," Nani drawled, unbothered. "Kiwi isn't deaf."

"How can I believe you?!" Peach spat, her face red with fury. "You must be lying."

"Well, no one said you had to believe me." Nani shrugged, his smile cold. "But if Dad Vegas-or worse, P'Pooh-were to know, imagine what that would do to your father's reputation.P'Pooh already rejected her, Peach. I know you know it. This little piece of information would be very interesting for the family. And the media? Oh, they'd love it."

"You'll pay for this, Nani," Kiwi muttered, her voice shaking as she turned, grabbing Peach's arm.

"Oh how much? Huh didn't knew you are in shortage of money." Nani said waving his hand in front of his face.

The two sisters hurried toward the stairs, Nani's voice rang after them, soft and cutting:

"Peach-your neck would look lovely if I cracked it... just like your hand."

Peach stiffened, fear flashing across her face.

She clutched Kiwi tighter, dragging her down the stairs as though Nani's shadow itself might follow them.

Nani walked as if nothing had happened upstairs, his steps steady and unhurried. When he reached the living room, he found Mr. Cornal and his wife seated neatly on the sofa. Peach and Kiwi sat beside them, both visibly restless, shifting in their seats like guilty children trying not to be noticed.

Vegas had already informed Mr. Cornal that Pooh had rejected their proposal, but still, they came today, draping their visit with the flimsy excuse of wanting to "see Jimmy."

Papa Pete sat opposite them, engaged in polite conversation. The moment his eyes fell on Nani, his expression softened, a smile spreading across his face.

"Hey, honey."Nani's lips curved in return, his whole demeanor melting into warmth as he walked straight toward Pete, as if the rest of the room were invisible.

"Papa, it's already dark. I'll leave now."

"Why not spend the night here? Sky didn't come either," Pete asked gently.

"I'll text Sky and let him know," Nani said with a smile that never faltered. "Besides, tomorrow's uni. Can't miss it."

"Oh right-your last year. You're going to graduate soon," Pete replied, pride in his voice.

"Yes," Nani answered simply.

Pete's lips turned into a small pout. "Still, is there really no way I can convince you to stay?"

"I'll drop by again, don't worry, Papa."

"Fine, if you say so. At least give me a hug."

Nani stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Pete, tender and unhurried, as if to prove his devotion belonged to him alone.

Then he turned and walked out with the same calm grace, leaving behind the silence of his absence.

The moment the door clicked shut, Cornal's wife Clara leaned forward, her voice dripping with carefully concealed venom.

"So... when will things be official?"

Pete turned his gaze toward her, unshaken, his tone calm though it carried the weight of unspoken authority.

"That's their decision to make."

Her smile faltered. The venom in her words had not gone unnoticed. Pete, still smiling faintly, added with a softness that cut sharper than steel,

"You see, in this house, no one is forced into anything. When they're ready, you'll know. Until then, it would be wise not to rush what isn't yours to control."

Cornal shifted in his seat uncomfortably, and Peach's hands curled into fists at her lap. Kiwi, however, kept her head lowered, her silence loud in the tension that filled the room.

Pete leaned back, his eyes never leaving Clara, the smile on his lips steady but carrying the weight of a warning that needed no further words.

Later that night, the dining table was alive with quiet clinks of cutlery and the low hum of conversation. Sky and William had returned, settling into their places beside Jimmy and Pooh.

Pooh ate silently, nibbling at his food with no intention of joining in. Kiwi, in contrast, tried her best to spark small talk, her voice just a little too bright. Across the table, Jimmy, the eldest and ever-polite, listened attentively as Vegas and Cornal exchanged heavy discussions about business and obligations.

It was Clara who broke through with her carefully sharpened voice.

"My daughters have always been admired for their grace and accomplishments. Peach, especially-her piano playing has been praised by many. And Kiwi's embroidery? Such delicate work. Truly, they would make remarkable wives, if only given the chance."

Her words hung in the air, aimed like bait toward Sky and Pooh.

Before Sky could respond, William leaned back in his chair, a mischievous smile tugging at his lips.

"Oh, yes," he said with exaggerated admiration, "nothing says romance quite like scales and stitching. Imagine-while one plays the piano, the one sews up the holes in your socks. A symphony of practicality!"

Sky and Pooh both tried, and failed, to hide their grins. Pete bit down on his lip to keep from laughing, and Jimmy, poor Jimmy, pressed his fist against his mouth, his shoulders trembling as he tried to remain composed.

Clara's eyes narrowed, her voice snapping like a whip.

"Of course you'd mock something refined, wouldn't you? After all, what would you know of refinement? You're nothing but a-"

"Be careful, Ms. Clara."

Sky's voice cut across the table, calm but edged with warning. His eyes, sharp as a blade, locked on hers.

"Be very careful about what you say to my brother. He has more rights in this family than you will ever have."

The silence that followed was thick, everyone frozen under the weight of his words. Clara's lips pressed into a thin line, her confidence faltering under Sky's unwavering stare.

William, unfazed, popped a grape into his mouth with a dramatic sigh.

"Well, that saved me the trouble of saying it."

Pooh smothered a laugh into his hand, Jimmy's composure cracked into a quiet chuckle, and even Pete at the head of the table allowed himself the smallest, knowing smile.
