Back To Reality

(Lisa's POV)

Monday came which means we're now back to school. Back to our normal lives.

I took my bike to school today and of course Jennie came with me. She decided to just catch a ride with me instead since she has no energy to drive today. I don't mind it though, I love it when she clings onto me whenever I drive. I love her warmth. Kekeke!

*At school*

We were joined immediately by Rosé and Jisoo when we stepped inside the campus.

Two subjects had passed and now it was lunch time. We got our foods, talked, and joked around as usual.

Third subject came and the teacher was babbling something about the history of Washington, I dunno, i'm not really in a mood to listen. Besides, i'll just study later, or maybe tomorrow.

Suddenly someone tapped me on my shoulder. It was Yeri.

"Umm... hey, Lis!" She half-whispered half-yelled.

"Wanna hang out later? Catch up or something? I've invited Seulgi and Irene, you know just like the old days? What do you say?" She added.

"If you want, you can take Jennie with you!" She added more.

I looked at my girlfriend with a "do you wanna come with me" look. I would actually love to go, I mean, I miss Irene and Seulgi. They were like my second close friends well besides Rosie. Chaeng always comes first.

They transferred schools on the other side of the town after Yeri went to Korea. So, yeah I don't really see them every day, we kept in touch on social medias, but that was it.

Jennie smiled and said.

"Oh no, no, I don't have to come. You can go babe!" She whispered.

"Sure?" I mouthed.

"Mmhmm." She hummed in response.

"It'll just be quick, I promise!" I whispered.

Jennie smiled once again and I swear to God, I just died. She's so beautiful.

I blinked a couple of times to get myself out of my own trance and turned around to Yeri and agreed to what she have suggested.

"Alrighty! I'll text you the deats later. Oh wait did you change your number or something?" She whispered.

"Nope, still the same." I said.

"Mmkay, see you later then!" She said.

All classes have now ended and i've already received a text from Yeri that we'll meet up on our usual place that we hung out and ate. The coffee shop that serves alcohols and beers, it's like a coffee shop/bar. It was down town which was like 5 blocks away from our campus.

She also wanted to catch a ride with me because apparently her car broke down over the weekend and just had to be repaired. I told her that i'll just bring Jennie home and i'll come back for her later.

Jennie saw the texts and she said.

"Babe, it's okay, you can go! I can just take a cab or catch a ride with Jisoo unnie! I'll be fine!" Jennie said with a reassuring smile.

"Uh-uh, nope! I will take you home either you want it or not! C'mon babe! Hop in!" I said while placing my extra helmet on her.

"After our little get together later, i'll come by your house later. So you better wait for me! Don't sleep too early, mmkay babe!" I added.

"I don't have much of a choice now do I?" Jennie said while chuckling.

After bringing Jennie home and giving her a loooong goodbye kiss that I don't want to end, by the way, I then went back to school to fetch Yeri.

*At the Coffee Shop/Bar*

I looked at the shop, same old, same old. After Yeri went down on my bike, I immediately saw two figures waving at us from the inside of the shop. I immediately waved back at them. Oh my! How i've missed them so much!

Yeri and I quickly went inside the coffee shop and we were greeted by Irene and Seulgi.

"Well, well. All these years, you guys are still together huh? Wait. Are you guys together, together?" Seulgi said with a smirk followed by a confused look.

"We're not together anymore, Seulgs! She has a Jennie now!" Yeri replied.

"Oh really? Hmm... well, we have a LOT to talk about omg, well anyways, c'mere Manoban and Yerim give us a hug! We missed you guys, ohmygosh!" Irene said.

"Guys... mphfff... I can't breathe!" I said. Trying to escape from their super tight hugs.

"Oh c'mon, Lis. We missed you so much!" Irene and Seulgi said in unison.

"I missed you too, you guys!" I said also hugging them really tight.

After the hugs and kisses, we sat down and talked and talked. I missed this! I missed them so much! We talked about each other's lives, about what was new and everything. Yeri had to discuss her life on Korea while Irene and Seulgi discussed their lives on their own school. And me, well I told them that school is still the same, no renovations and everything and I also talked about Jennie, of course.

They told me that they would like to meet her one day. I should've brought her here with me. I miss her already! I should go and buy here some flowers and food on my way. Kekeke!

It was around 7 pm when we finished and bid our goodbyes. Of course, I just had to bring Yeri home. I have no choice, I couldn't let her be on her own. Right? It would be rude.

I bid my goodbye to Yeri after I dropped her off at her house. I haven't got a chance to thank her because my mind was preoccupied, I was thinking of where to buy those flowers and food for my Nini.

Ohhh I know where!

Food? Papa Joe's Diner!!!

Flowers? Oh I remember, there's a flower shop beside Papa Joe's!

I quickly ordered a take out from Papa Joe's Diner and bought daisies near the diner.

I also gave Jennie a quick text that i'm already on my way, before driving off.

(Jennie's POV)

Hmm... how did their little get together went? Are they already done or what? It was like quarter to 7. I was pacing on my room. Should I text her? Ugh! This is so stressful!

I should have just went with her! I really don't trust that Yeri chick. I know that they've talked and everything but you know, I still have this feeling that she still likes my Lili. This is driving me insane! Where is she? She haven't called or text me yet.

I plopped down on my bed and tried to relax but I ended up standing up again and went back to my pacing. Suddenly my phone buzzed. Ohh, I hope it's Lisa!

I opened my phone and yes, finally. It was Lisa. She said she was on her way. Omg! Kekeke! I can't wait to see her! I miss her, even though I just saw her a while ago. I guess i'm whipped!

After a couple of minutes, I received a text again from Lisa, saying that she's already on my front door. I smiled and I quickly went down stairs.

When I opened the door, I was super surprised. Oh. My. God!!!! I can't even. Holy cheeseballs!

She was holding a bouquet of daisies!! Oh and a paper bag of Papa Joe's Diner. It was covering her face and then slowly she slipped her head in between of those with a cheeky smile creeping on her face and I immediately gave her my gummy smile in return.

"Hey babe! This is for you." She said while handing me the bouquet of daisies.

"And this is also for you! Well, for the both of us! Hahaha!" She added while raising the paper bag of Papa Joe's Diner.

I immediately jumped on her and hugged her ever so tightly.

"Thank youuuu!" I said and quickly gave her peck on the lips.
