I heard a continuous beep in the background. I slowly started to open my eyes when my 3 brothers . ibiki the eldest, Hayate ,and sai. greeted me with a tired smile.

"(Y/n) , how you feeling ?" Sai asks while stretching his arms. My brothers and I weren't blood related. In fact none of my brothers were . My parents adopted them all they were from drug addicted homes or their parents were in jail and lost custody. My parents raised each of them since they were toddlers. Sai as a baby. Then they had me . So yea. They're my brothers. And quite intimidating as well.

Ibiki was in the military. Had been for many years . Hayate became an officer and Sai got into the art of painting. He even owns his own gallery (which isn't intimidating) but he spent many years in the military before retiring recently. So he can be scary to fight.

"What are you guys doing here ?" I said trying to push myself to sit up but I forgot about my arm and winced in pain. "Argh" I groaned . I looked at my arm and it was practically black. It was extremely bruised and sprained.

"Hayate called us. He was one of the officers on call. " Sai said

" what were you thinking !" Ibiki shouted " how many times have we told you to move out of there !"

"Calm down ibiki. Yelling isn't going to change the situation." Hayate said calmly but he was just as bothered as the rest of them. Watching them with hurt and worried looks on their face got me emotional. I didn't get a chance to process how afraid I was .

Tears started rolling down my cheeks " I was so afraid !" I sobbed , " I thought I was going to die and never see you guys again" the men wrapped their arms and held me as I broke down. I was a mess and they knew it. I was alive and thankful. If it wasn't for Saskue-

"Where's Saskue ? And Itachi !" Yelled leaning away from their hug.

"The pretty boys ?" Ibiki scrunched his face in disgust. He never like any man I was with or friends with. Well except kakashi when I was in high school but that's because they were friends. Well, even then he has to warm up to the idea.

"Ibiki kicked them out " Sai said rudely. "But one of them stayed in the waiting room. With the long hair. "

Itachi. Itachi stayed ?

"Can I see him ?" I asked

"I wanna know why they were at your house at that time of night " Hayate asked firmly. This is why I stayed in that shitty apartment. Moving in with any of them there is no freedom. No matter how old I am I'm still little (y/n) . It's so annoying !

"Mind your business! If it wasn't for them I could've been dead ! " I crossed my arms " I want to see him ! And alone please. "

They stared at me to see if I was being serious and I really was.

" not a chance " sai chuckled.

"What ever is said can be said in front of us " Ibiki wouldn't budge. He crossed his arms and wasn't planning on changing his mind.

I looked at Hayate for help but he only shrugged " I'm with them. "

" his family is doctors and lawyers for fucks sake . Hes a decent guy and I'm grown. "

"Those are the most corrupt . We're not leaving you alone. "

"Ughhhhhhhhhh !!!!!" I screamed. "Fine ! But don't say anything it's none of your business "

"You are our business . I'm getting sick of you trying to do everything on your own (y/n) . If you would've just let us help you with finding a better apartment you wouldn't even be here. You were just attacked ! You could've been killed. Do you not see how serious that is ? So why would we leave our sister alone with some guy we don't know?" Hayate got up from his seat and started pacing back and forth as he spoke

"They helped me -"

"THEY ATTACKED YOU BECAUSE OF HIM !" He shouted angrily. " the man was hired because your 'boss' broke another guys arm and your the one that had to pay for that. "

Sai sat there waiting for his turn to speak. " Can we finally get an answer as to what is truly going on with her and her boss. "

The room got quiet. All eyes were on me. And none seemed supportive. In fact they gave me daring look.

"We're friends. " I was lying but it wasn't a complete lie.

Ibiki And Hayate seemed relieved except Sai.

"She's lying. I can't believe you two still fall for that " Sai said through his breathe. "They're involved with each other. "

Ibiki was most protective , and had the shortest temper. I saw him clench his jaw and my body froze.

"Ibiki I'm a woman now. I'm not a child."

"If you wanna talk to your little boyfriend..... find .... but we're not leaving your side. We're not going to. Your moving in with me . " Hayate demanded.

"Your kidding . I'm not moving in with you. I don't need a babysitter. " I protested

"You now have gang members after you. It's Best your with me. " Ibiki gave Hayate an approving look agreeing I'd stay at Hayate's .

" you can still see chichi or what ever but I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on him. "

"Itachi. " I reminded him. He knew damn well what his name was .

"That's what I said. Anyways Ibiki grab chichi. " Hayate ordered

"Itachi"

"I said that"

Ibiki left the room to get itachi.

"She wants to see you " he said in his deep voice. " anything you say to her can be said in front of us. We're not leaving her alone " he shot itachi a nasty look.

Itachi smiled , killing him with kindness. He wasn't intimidated at all. "Perfect "

As itachi walked in the room my brothers gave him the death glare . But Itachi was   Unbothered , he walked past them with his eyes glued to me and the biggest smile on his face.

He cupped my face with both his hands and gave me a lingering kiss. After a few seconds of course my brothers started to but in.

*cleara throat * " that's good enough" Sai interrupted. Itachi only smiled and focused on me.

"How you feeling?" He asked.

"Like I've been hit by a truck.... what about Saskue ? I really need to thank him."

"He went to rest. He'll be over tomorrow. I'm glad your ok. Their not getting away with this. " itachi reassured me. "You should get some rest. " he tapped my forehead with his middle and index finger for some weird reason. But I liked it. Was idk. Cute . Itachi said his good nights and left since he had to work in about 3 hours. I didn't realize how late it was .

My brothers decided to go home and get some sleep but that their going to get my room ready for me at hayate's tomorrow. Sai stayed behind at the last minute though. With my attacker now arrested his one phone call could've been to someone in the gang . Leaving me alone would be an easy target. Which he was right. I'm just glad it was Sai instead of the other two. Sai was only a year older than me. He understands what it's like being bossed around by those two.

Sai laid on the couch and snuggled with his blanket . I tried sleeping but all I could do was cry. And I think my small cries kept Sai awake. He got up and walked over to me. He motioned me to move over so I can lay my head on his lap.

"I'm sorry " I mumbled.

"For ?"

"All of this. This is such and inconvenience for all you with your work .  "

" Your never an inconvenience (y/n)." He then rubbed my head as I cried myself to sleep.

Something he's always done when I sad. No matter how alone I felt , when said says nothing and just lets me cry in his lap while he rubbed my head it made me feel not so alone. That not everyone was against me . I love my brothers and I am glad their here.

Itachi ..... he really waited here for me. And He wasn't afraid to kiss me in front of my brothers . He must really like meHuh .
