I walked into work as usual. Tired , angry at my parents that they created me , and missing my bed. Lets be honest though. My parents wanted kids so bad but I didn't ask to be here. So why do I have to pay bills because they felt as though I needed to be born ? Selfish am I right ? All I want is just coffee or my bed .

I made my rounds and sat at the computer setting up the charts for the day . Itachi walks in and takes a seat beside me for the other computer. Nothing out of the normal.

"Good morning Mr. Uchiha " I yawned. I was determined to get things back to normal and get rid of my feelings towards my sexy boss. He looked at me shocked that I spoke to him at all.

"Good morning miss (y/n) . " he said in his naturally sweet voice. He glared at me for a few moments as I worked. I felt the burning stares but I ignored it and kept my face glued to my work.

"How are you today ? " he asked. He sound different today. He sound like the itachi I knew. Not the asshole from yesterday.

"Good just tired . " I smiled quickly at him before continuing

"That's good. That's good. " he tucked a lose strand of his hair behind his ear " so I owe you an apology. I've been a real tool lately and I'm genuinely sorry. It's not who I am . -"

"Really Mr. Uchiha. It's fine.  " I snapped. Thankfully saskue came to interrupt.

"Hey (y/n) " he said placing a coffee in front of me. "Hot mocha right ?" He grinned. Itachi looked at me, then looked at his brother to look back at me .

"Yea .. am I that predictable?" I laughed as I thankfully took a sip of the hot coffe.

"I just pay attention. I'll see you later " he shot me a flirty look. I assume he's starting this 'spark'  before the company party his uncle is throwing. I started to blush as I noticed Itachi's disapproving look.

"What was that about?" He questioned not taking his eyes off me.

"Nothing " I said smiling. The smile was genuine though. He was so jealous and I couldn't help but smile ear to ear. And getting up to walk away just added onto the mystery.

Itachi goes up to saskue after finding him leaving a patients room

"Hey, what's going on with you and (y/n)" he asked seriously. Saskue looking confused.

" I don't know. Why"  he knew his plan was working. He was glad he can his brother back for disrespecting him and going after the woman who was initially his.

"You guys were kind of flirting " itachi pointed out

" honestly. I asked her to go to the firm party with me as my date. And she agreed. " saskue smiled a shy smile making his brother believe he has a crush on the woman he played for a fool. And itachi didn't like it one bit.

"So what you guys are a thing ?"  His words laced with Jealousy, itachi was determined to find an answer. .

"What? No. Not yet. I'm hoping though. Are you and sakura going ?" Saskue knew his plan was working well.

"We were thinking about it Yea. Maybe I should go. " itachi's only interest was to keep an eye on the 2 and determine what their chemistry was like. He really liked (y/n). He just couldn't bring himself to hurt Sakura because he has real feelings invested in her and their relationship. Breaking it off wouldn't be easy. Yet he was unsure if he wanted to break up with sakura at all. But he knew his feelings for (y/n) were growing as well. And he has no intentions on sharing her with his baby brother.

He knew he had to tell (y/n) his true feelings he just didn't know when would be the right time. Or if she'll still even take him.

He sent (y/n) a text

Itachi: meet me for lunch. It's important

Y/n) : um ok ?

Itachi : you know what. Forget it we'll talk now. Meeting room.

I sighed when he demanded to see me now. I felt this un easy feeling in my stomach as I dreaded this meeting with him . I sat down while he closed the door.

"Do you like my brother. " he went straight to the point. He wasn't playing any games no more. " he's telling me you guys have a date ?" I can hear it in his voice that he's trying to remain calm. But it isn't working too well.

" I don't know that's what the date is for. To see if anything is there. Is this what you called me here for ? I have patients Itachi this is so unprofessional. " I said in annoyance. I meant every word. He was acting childish in our place of work !

"Don't go on that date " he demanded as if he had any say in my life. .

"Oh I'm Going on that date itachi." I challenged him. He walked right up to me inches away. He cupped my face with one hand and pulls me into him.  Kissing me roughly with desperation. For a quick second I have in and kissed back but not a second later I pushed him away.

" stop !" I yelled angrily. So much for not chasing me liar.

"You want me as much as I want you (y/n) admit it. "

" I did. But you-"

"Give me time . That's all I ask. " he said firmly.

"Itachi. I can't put my life on hold because your conflicted, that's not my problem. " I left the room and went back to work. I felt my phone vibrated so I looked hoping it wasn't itachi. And it wasn't. It was saskue.

Saskue: meet me for lunch in the cafe

Me: ok .

Why am I so excited for all of this ?I smiled at the text and went back to work. Itachi stood there as he watched me texted his brother back giggling. He looked down the hall to see saskue watching her giggle to his text and had a smile on his face as well.

"Your not taking (y/n) away from me brother. " itachi mumbles to himself " I'm not going down without a fight. "
