Packing Up School, Leaving Love

16:30, 18 April 2015

The room had become silent for a few moments until Gogo had walked out. Nariko followed right behind her. "Sorry I have to make you do this." She apologizes.

"No its fine. Friends should give each other time." Gogo says. "But not boyfriends." She mutters.

"Well aside from the sad and bad news... We're going to San Diangeles!" Nariko jumps.

"Haha, guess it'll be a jump for you." Gogo laughs. "Yeah, but the only long thing is the plane ride." Nariko says and walks into the elevator with Gogo.

She presses a button which triggers the two to the first floor. "When do we leave?" Gogo asks.

"Could be tonight, or really really early in the morning." Nariko expresses the words. "Like 2?" Gogo asks.

"Well like 7." The redhead reassures. Once the elevator reaches their floor, Gogo walks to her lab with her friend tagging along. "So I guess we'll need a part of our project, tools, and that's all. But if you want to be extra then that's ok. And clothes would be when we get home." Nariko explains.

"Gotcha." Gogo picks up a duffle bag. She inserts 3 wrenches, 2 screwdrivers, some screws, bolts, and one of her mag-lev disks. "Ready?" Nariko asks. "Yeah." Gogo responds and puts the bag strap on her shoulder.

The two walk out the building and towards Nariko's house, which wasn't far from the school just like Gogo.

Above the steps awaited Hiro. He watched as the two girls left. The boy was sad, mad even. What would he do without his only love?

Walking to Nariko's house, the streetlamps glisten. "So is it just us going to the camp?" Gogo asks.

"No. Hallie and the others are coming." Nariko informs. When they reach Nariko's house, she unlocks the door. "Dad! I'm home!" She welcomes. Her dad, Mr. Spencer, was cutting wood outside.

The two girls walked to the back porch and watches him. "Dad!" Nariko yelled. Her dad was using a saw. "Daad!" She yelled again. Her dad looked up and stopped the saw. "Daaad!!" She yelled once more. "Geez Nairko! No need to shout!" He says and squeezes his eyes from the sunlight.

"This is Gogo. She's my mech partner. She's the one I'm going to San Diangeles with." The man's daughter explained.

"Ah right. I'm Allen. But you can call me Mr. Spencer." Mr. Spencer smiles. "Nice to meet you Mr. Spence." Gogo shortly greets. "Ah, never too bad to have those type of girls." He laughs.

"Gogo is a great mechanic and knows everything about defense, so I'll be alright." Nariko smiles. "Don't forget timid." Gogo adds.

"Haha, glad my little girl has someone special to go with on a thousand mile trip." Spencer says.

Nariko giggles and takes Gogo upstairs to her room. At least Gogo learned two things about the girl. She has a dad, and she knows their last name. "So what about your mom?" Gogo asks.

"Oh, she sorta passed when I was 5." Nariko says and sits on her bed. "Oh, so sorry to hear that." Gogo says.

"Don't be! I'm used to not breaking when talking about her." Nariko smiles. Gogo nods and looks around the blue room. "Lots of blue, I like it." Gogo says. "Really?" Nariko smiles. "Yeah, its not pink." Gogo laughs.

"So I need to get packed. I have my small tools in my bag and I need to pack a suitcase for items, books, and clothes." Nariko explains. "Ok, but aren't we leaving in the night or morning?" Gogo asks.

"Never too late to be early." Nariko opens her closet door. She pulls out a blue and green suitcase and throws it onto her bed. "Alright, time to get packing." She says.

"I'll go to my house to get packed too." Gogo says. "Ok!" Nariko says opening and closing drawers.

Gogo walks out the room and downstairs. She exits the house and walks down to the street. Her emotions built up inside her.

Sad because of leaving. Happy to bring her future up and travel to an outstanding, 'pretty rockin' city'.

As she makes it to her house, she unlocks the door and walks upstairs. She was getting ready to pack.

With a suitcase thrown to the bed, she opened it and looked inside. Empty. Soon it'll be filled with clothes and extra things, for 3 months or less. Maybe even more.

She opens her drawers and throws clothes in the suitcase shirt after shirt, shorts after shorts, and other things.

"This is gonna be a goodish day. Ugh, hope the plane doesn't have crying, screaming babies." She says to herself.

After the suitcase was full of things, she dragged it out her room and went back in. She looked around the room.

Messy for 3 months. She thought to herself.

She walked out her room and dragged the suitcase with her downstairs.

Buzz buzz. She reached out her phone and unlocked it. It was a text from Nariko.

We'll go back to THB and unfortunately we'll leave to the airport at 8:15.

Gogo walked out her door and walked towards the THB. It was 7:10 pm as she approached the school.

Nariko was waiting outside with Hallie. "Oh hi! You're Gogo right?" Hallie asks. "Yup that's me." Gogo chewed on a new piece of gum. "Hey look Gogo, I'm sorry for making you do this again. You really don't-," Nariko's was cut off.

"No no its fine. Like I told you. Its for a better future, a better grade, and sometimes friends have to take a break." Gogo explains.

"We're gonna have so much fun there!! There'll be shops, amazing foods, and maybe cute boys." Hallie says and giggles. "Aren't you dating Jackson?" Nariko asks. "No we're just really close." Hallie explains.

After Hallie jumps off the stairs and waves goodbye, the two leftover girls walk into the building. They set their stuff down in the lab of Gogo's and walk upstairs until they reach Tadashi's office. "And we couldn't take the elevator why?" Gogo asks.

"I didn't know where it was." Nariko says. "But we just-" Gogo begins. "Working on loosing weight." Nariko says. She was already skinny enough.

"Hey girls." Tadashi welcomes. "Hey Tad." Gogo greets. "Hi Tadashi." Nariko smiles. The two walk in the office and sit. "Whew! After 500 stairs!" Nariko huffs. "More like 50." Gogo says.

Tadashi gives a small laugh and sits in front of the girls. "So heard about you two leaving. We'll miss you guys." He says. "Oh you'll get over it in the next 2 months." Gogo says. "Yeah, well maybe. My friend had to do this before but a little different, and 2 months came around the corner and boy was I sad still." Nariko explains.

They all laugh. "So you're waiting till tonight to board the plane?" Tadashi asks. "Yeah." Nariko says.

After about 35 minutes in the office everyone walks into the elevator. "So its a mechanics thing?" Tadashi asks. "Yup." Gogo says expressing the 'p'.

"In San Diangeles?" He asks.

"Yup, the big city. Well that's New Chicork." Nariko says.

Once at the bottom, the three walk outside and towards the Lucky Cat Cafe. The girls dragged their suitcases, making a beat from the ground and wheels. "My aunt may have some 'goodbye' treats for you two." Tadashi says.

Once they enter, Aunt Cass was at the kitchen baking. "Hey children! Oh and who's this beautiful young lady?" She asks. "Gogo." Nariko says. "No Nari, she's referring to you." Gogo says sitting. "Oh me? Sorry sorry sorry! I'm a slow catcher." Nariko says.

"Oh gee? Haven't noticed." Gogo playfully messes with Nariko. "Oh be quiet, Go." Nariko smiles. "I'm Nariko Spencer. Nari or Nariko is fine." She explains and holds a hand out. Aunt Cass shakes her hand. "Wonderful name! And Spencer, is your dad Allen Spencer?" Tadashi's aunt asks.

"Yes he is! How'd you know?" Nariko asks with a big smile. "He dropped his business cards off and I met him at Hiro's preparation for his microbots." Aunt Cass says. "Oh cool!" Nariko says.

"Oh I have  something for you two!" Aunt Cass pulls out a ban. She unwraps the aluminum foil off and reveals a tray of muffins and cookies. "Sorta a 'goodbye' treat." She laughs.

"They smell so good! Is it banana muffins and other types?" Nariko asks. "You do know your food." Aunt Cass laughs.

"Well they'll be back in 3 or 2 months." Tadashi says. "Oh wow, too long to see my little troopers friends gone." Aunt Cass says and walks to the kitchen. "Hehe I know." Her nephew says.

~14 minutes later~Hiro and the rest had arrived. "About time! Where were you guys?" Tadashi asks. "At Fred's. We were hanging there till we had to come back." Wasabi explains. "And why's that?" Gogo asks. "Two words. Wasp invasion." Honey says.

"Oh ouch." Nariko says. "I see you two are packed." Fred says. "Yeah, we leave at 8 tonight or later. I'm not sure, Rita has the info." Nariko says.

Gogo sat back and noticed Hiro. "Still gonna miss me?" Gogo asks. "Why wouldn't I?" Hiro smiled a little and sat next to Gogo. "Cause you could be cheating." Gogo joked.

"Trust me, you'll get over missing her for like the past 3 weeks." Nariko explains. "Well let's get you two to the airport. It'll get you there early and hopefully save us some time to give a goodbye." Honey says and walks to Tadashi.

"Yeah, I'll drive you there." Honey's boyfriend accepts a ride. "Thank you so much!" Nariko shakes their hands. "Would use my dad's car but he'd kill me!" Nariko says. "Why?" Gogo and Honey asks. "If I mess up his new BMW, I'll be probably be living with the man for a long time." Nariko says.

"Good point. Let's go, couple." Gogo says and drags her suitcase out the cafe. Nariko picks up Aunt Cass's treats and takes her suitcase out.

"Let's go guys." Wasabi says and takes his keys out. The boys walk out and into Wasabi's car. "Aren't you coming Aunt Cass?" Hiro asks. "How I wish I could! But I'm expecting a whole lot of customers and y'know. I'm a crying wreck when it come to breakdowns." Aunt Cass laughs. "Ok then." Hiro closes the door.

Once inside Tadashi's car, they all drove down the road. With the others trailing them.

"Oh this is so sad and exciting!" Nariko says. "Oh my gosh, its like this girl is my mind." Honey laughs and high fives Nariko. Gogo and Tadashi laugh.

While driving a few long miles, the sign, SFAP, shows. "Getting closer to sadness." Honey says and looks out the window.

After driving the last mile, they reach the airport. Tadashi stops the car at the door entrance and helps the girls unload.

Once the boys get out the car, all Hiro could hear over the speakers was,

"All passengers leaving their loved ones should be ok for a while. The loved ones should be sad for how long their loved passengers are gone for."

He snapped out of it and walked into the airport building with the rest.

All of a sudden it started raining. That made Hiro feel even worse. The boys walk over to a lounge area where Tadashi and the girls sat.

"Is it raining?" Nariko asks. "Yup, supposed to be a short thunderstorm." Honey informs. Nariko checks her phone which rung and saw a text message.

"We have our own private plane! Its for all students going to the mech camp from other cities too! Meet us outside with Gogo! -Hallie"

"Well guys, Hallie found our plane. Its a private one for only mech students. Let's go outside and meet them!" Nariko says. "Well ok." Tadashi says. "In the rain? There goes my favorite jacket." Wasabi says.

Wasabi and Tadashi carried their bags and walked outside with the rest trailing them. Once outside, the rain hit the surface hard. "Over here!" Hallie shouted.

They followed where the other students where and waited for the plane's doors to open. "This is gonna be so much fun!" Rita shouted. "It sure will!" Nariko said.

The doors opened and students walked inside the plane. "Well..this is it! Two or three long months without having tools stolen!" Wasabi yelled from the rain and thunder. "Haha I won't miss you either!" Gogo joked.

Nariko board the plane. The night made lightning flash clearer. "I'm gonna miss you!!" Honey Lemon said and cried. Tadashi patted her back and hugged her. "Oh hey see if they have ant new comics! I'll text you a list." Fred pleads.

"Haha we'll see!" Gogo says. "Now c'mon Hiro, you're free to talk." She adds and walks to Hiro. "I-I just can't seem to let you go." He mutters. "I can't either." Gogo says. With that she kisses him on the lips and walks onto the plane's steps.

With one more look back, everyone looks back at her. "Remember, don't miss me." Gogo says. "We'll try not to." Honey says with a light smile. "Please just uh- video chat us when you get there. Or m-maybe even earlier!" Hiro reminds. "Won't forget! And tell Baymax I'll miss him!" Gogo says.

And with that she gets on the plane. She sits in a seat on the right aisle and looks out the window. Everyone waved.

She could see Hiro mouth the words, "Miss you." And she mouths back, "Miss you too..nerd." She smiles.

The plane starts and takes off. One last look and everyone was walking away in the rain, Hiro still looking back.
