One Stormy Night

14:12, 20 March 2015

Honey P.O.VI sat next to Tadashi. I had a worried face. I wanted to forgive him but I couldn't be so easy on him. I look at the projection screen as the movie starts. It was a horror movie about a monster destroying a military base.

I watch and right when the movie starts a hug claw scratches the screen in in movie. I grab a pillow and hold on it.

Gogo P.O.VI watched the movie. Of course it was Fred's idea of the movie. I cross my arms and look at the screen. A man was operating a system in the base and it crashed down. Fred gasps. "Its the monster!" "Fred quiet!" Wasabi says to him.

I put my head in my hand that was on the arm rest. How does Fred expect us to watch this?! "Oh me gosh!" Honey burries her face in the pillow. We laugh a little. I then continue to watch the boring movie. Then the sound of thunder cracks. We all scream a little then exchange glances. "My phone says we're having a thunderstorm." Honey says shivering. "Well let's hope the power doesn't go out." Aunt Cass says while trying to get some sleep.

I shiver and grab a pillow slowly. I hate thunderstorms. "A thunderstorm great, just what my vacation needs." I say silently. I then look out the windows as lighting flashes. "Ah!" I scream into the pillow. Hiro looks at me. "Gogo you alright?" "Y-yeah just fine." I say cracking a slight smile. He smiles and continues to watch the movie.

~2 hours later~I was clinching my eyes shut. Once I heard another roar of thunder I gasped and opened my eyes quickly. I look around the darkness. The movie was over, everyone was sleep, and I think power was out. I look up and then I quickly look straight. I pause for a long time to realize I was sleeping on Hiro's shoulder. I slowly got up and looked around. I am so embarrassed! What if I fell asleep before everyone!

I get up and look around. I turn my flashlight on my phone on and look around. Everyone one was sleep. I see Honey laying on Tadashi's arm. "Guess like I'm not the only one." I say. "Only what one?" I hear. I turn my phone towards Hiro who is sitting up. "Oh nothing Hiro." I say. BOOM! A crack of thunder erupts. Lightning then flashes. I nearly jump and put my hand on my chest. "Seems like you are scared of thunderstorms." Hiro says. "What? I am not scared!" "Yeah it kinda seemed like it how you jumped and grabbed a pillow during the movie." Hiro smirks. "Well that's that's- go back to sleep nerd." I snap.

"I can't. I'm scared of storms too." Hiro says looking around. "Too? I am not scared! Now come help me find a power box." I say to him. "Alright." He gets up and we walk towards the stairs. "Does this place have a basement or attic?" I ask. "Hmm I got an idea." Hiro walks over to Baymax and activates him. "Hello Hiro." Baymax greets Hiro. "Baymax scan for the power box." Hiro commands. "Scanning for nearest power box." Baymax says and walks near the stairs. He looks around and beeps.

"Scan complete. Nearest power box is in the attic." "Thanks Baymax. I am satisfied with my care." Hiro smiles as Baymax walks into his box. Hiro and I walk upstairs. We see a door in the ceiling in the hallway. "I'll go up and check." I say pulling the door down. "O-ok. Sure you don't want me to COME?!" Hiro screams as thunder cracks. I almost fall but hold my balance. "If you want to you can." I make my way up. I put my phone down on the floor and stand. Once I pick my phone up I see Hiro behind me. I almost jump. He must not be fond with storms. I look around the attic with my flashlight.

"There it is." I point to a box on a wooden column. I give Hiro my phone to hold. "Hold the light on the box." I say. "Gotcha." He says. I open the box and look around. I flip the power switch. I look down the attic door and hear or see nothing. "Hmm?" I flip it three times. Nothing. "Well this blows." I say taking my phone back. "Maybe a power line has fallen." Hiro suggests. "Maybe." I begin to walk down the steps of the attic. Hiro follows and we walk downstairs.

I look out the window. I see rain and lightning patter and flash over the ocean. I look out yo another beach house and see a light turn on then off. I see the beach lights turn on. Then I feel the ceiling fan blow air onto me. I turn around and see the TV screen on the movie's main menu. "Yes!" Hiro says. I then hear nothing but the fan on and the rain pattering. The  storm must be over. "Storm's over." I say.

Hiro smiles. I look outside and see a power line down. "And your hypothesis was right genius." I say. He smiles, showing his cute gap in his teeth. We walk over to the couch and start the movie over. "Now I'll finish the movie." I smile and watch the movie with Hiro. I could feel his hand touch mine. I look at him. "S-sorry Go." He apologizes. "Its fine." We continue to watch the movie with Fred, Wasabi, and Aunt Cass's snoring.
