*Bitter & Sweet*

Jack

I waved at Elsa who is walking in the corridors. She smiled.

"Hey." She greeted. Her smile was Really Really wide. I never saw her smile that way before.

"You look like your in a good mood." I said.

"I am." She answered.

"Because of what?" I said.

"Because, my birthday is near. I'm so excited!" She squealed.

"Really? When?" I asked.

"I'm gonna be traveling the city. We're gonna go to malls, Parks. All in one day!" She said not noticing my question.

"Me and Peter are gonna-" I cut her off as She spoke.

"Wait Peter?" I asked. This is Why she's happy? Because of Peter? I felt this stinging pain. In my chest.

It felt so weird. Why am I feeling this way? It's been happening for a while.

"Yea, Mama already agreed. So, that means me and Peter are going to explore!" She said excitedly. Another pain went to me.

Relax Jack. She said they are just gonna explore. It's not a date. Or maybe it is. It might be.

"Jack." Someone said while snapping her fingers in front of me. I blinked and saw Elsa with her eyebrow raised.

"Uh, what did you say again?" I asked. She sighed as the bell rang.

"Forget it." She muttered walking off.

"Elsa wait up!" I said catching up.

Flynn

This is it. This is the day.

I'm feeling a lot of emotions right now. I feel happy and sad I the same time. Confusing, I know.

I know Punzie already considers me as her bf but I want to make it official.

I took a deep breath.

"It's just a simple question. She'll say yes, probably." I whispered.

"Yo Flynn! Your gonna be late for class!" One of my friends said. I groaned and went to the room. So much for support.

-time skip to breaktime because the lessons are boring -

This is it. I'm gonna ask. I'm gonna do it.

"Chill dude, it's not like your world's gonna end when She says no." Unknown jerk, I mean, friend of mine said while grinning. I sighed and put up a brave face.

"Punzie!" I waved smiling.

"Hey Flynn." She smiled. I bit my lower lip and started.

"Uh, Punzie can I ask something?" I said. I know, what a start.

"Sure Flynn. Anything." She said sitting down. Okay, here goes nothing.

"Rapunzel Corona." I said while kneeling.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked looking in her eyes.

I brought out a ring from my pocket. Punzie looked surprised. Her eyes wide open. I saw her frown.

Oh no.

"Flynn. The thing is........" She said pursing her lips. Please say yes........

"I don't want to be your girlfriend." She said. My eyes widened almost dropping the ring in shock.

I hear her laugh.

"I don't Want to be just your girlfriend. I want to be treated more than that." She replied. I smiled and look at her like I just won a million bucks.

She hugged me tightly and kissed me on my cheek. I put the ring on her finger still not stopping to smile.

Jack

"Elsa! C'mon. Talk To me." I begged. She's been avoiding me for hours.

I called and called and nothing happened.

"Can you at least wait up?" I asked again.

Suddenly She stops and smiles. I sighed in relief. Thank God She stopped.

Then I thought She stopped when I called but.

She ran.

Seriously?! What do I have to do?

"Peter!" She said hugging Peter. I gritted my teeth.

There's that weird feeling again.

"Hey princess. You excited?" Peter asked. They were not that far so I already caught up to them.

"Super duper excited! I can't wait." Elsa said. Peter laughed. Making me annoyed.

"Same goes to me." Peter smiled.

Okay, this thing is getting me super annoyed.

I fake coughed making them look at me.

"Hey Jack! Didn't see you there." Peter said.

"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes.

"When is her birthday anyway?" I asked. Elsa raised her eyebrow. What did I do?

"It's on December......." Peter was about to finish when suddenly Elsa interrupts.

"Peter, I remember now! Let's go to the carnival!" She said. Peter laughed.

"Right." Peter said.

This is the most annoying day ever.

First the weird feeling.

Second is Peter.

Third is Elsa avoiding me.

-skip to when they are already home.-

"Oh! Let's go to the carnival!" I said mocking Elsa's voice.

"What's wrong with you? Did you forget to drink your medicine mate?" Aster said laughing. I looked at him weirdly.

"What medicine?" I asked.

"For your craziness. You've been sayin that line again and again." He said laughing even more.

If you're going to ask. We are at the living room. Waiting for sandy to finish cooking diner.

I threw a pillow to aster but he caught it. I groaned and went to my room.

Add aster to the list that annoys me. Make him first.

"Carnival." I kept muttering.

-Lexter, Liu, Earl put your backs into it. The faster the better. Now, pedal! Pedal! Now Kirby, put the switch on!-

"Let's go here! C'mon." Elise said pulling me. We are in the carnival.

"Careful you two." Dad said. I smiled and nodded. (A/n: keep in mind that they were kids here)

"Can we ride there. Please?" Elise begged pointing at the ride that goes up and down and loops. I gulped.

"I don't wanna go there." I said making gag faces like I was gonna puke.

Elise rolled her eyes.

"Then Let's just go there." She said pointing at the cotton candy.

"Yeah dad, Let's go there." I said pulling dad's sleeve. Dad laughed.

"Alright. Alright. Let's go." He said guiding us.

"Yes!" Elise and I said.

"Here you go sir. Two cotton candies." The vendor said.

"Thanks." Dad said getting it.

"I want the blue one!" Elise said. Dad gave it to her.

"But I want the blue one too. Elise no fair. You should be t te one getting the pink. Your the girl." I said crossing my arms.

Dad laughed.

"Can you change this please." He asked the vendor. The vendor also laughed and got the pink from Dad. He replaced it with a blue one.

"Haha. Mine is bluer than yours!" I said getting it from Dad.

"Hey! No fair! I want that too." She said pouting. Then She suddenly smiled.

"Wanna switch?" She asked. I looked at mine then hers, then to mine again.

I stuck my tongue out and bite the cotton candy. She rolled her eyes.

"You're so sassy!" I said.

"And your so selfish." She said biting to her cotton candy. I laughed.

I pinched a bit of the cotton candy and gave it to her.

"Thank you!" She said hugging me. She also gave some of hers to me.

"I can't wait to go back here." She said.

"We didn't even go yet." I laughed.

"No! I meant when we go home. I wanna go here again." She said.

"So, you wanna go home then go back here again? That's........ crazy." I said. She rolled her eyes.

"What I meant was after we travel around the world, this is the first place I'll want to go." She said.

"Oh. Then Why not just go to the other carnivals around the world." I asked.

"Because it's not the same when your not around stealing my favorite cotton candy and ice cream." She said. We both laughed.

"Then Why don't we get ice cream tomorrow? We can come back here. Right Dad?" I suggested.

"Sure! Then maybe we can go to the rides." Dad smiled.

-Kirby! Time to turn it off.-

I sighed.

"Of all places. Why will they pick the carnival?" I said.

"Because it's fun there." A voice said.

"What are you doing here?" I asked aster.

"Time for dinner mate." He said walking off.

I sighed.
